#1 AMAZING BEEF SAMSA in WA state, even the next day I took it to work and warmed it up, boom it was still DELICIOUS. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Great place and location and it's cozy inside.

A gem! Hubby and I were hungry but undecided on what to eat. We walked the entire strip mall after a short pharmacy stop. The pictures outside looked interesting, and the photo of the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries was calling my name! So in we went and we decided to share the rice and beef and salad dish. The serving was big enough to share between the 2 of us and was very fresh, clean tasting and flavorful good cuts of beef, too! The simple tomato, Cucumber and red onion salad was a perfect companion. Filling. And the star of the lunch was the Dubai chocolate strawberries! Very generous with the ingredients, and though it was a lot of chocolate syrup, the pistachio cream and kataifi were so generously added that it was so very good! The servers, chef and cashier were all family, so I love this family business! There is so much other good stuff o come back to so we'll be back for sure. Come check it out!

Very friendly stuff, great service and delicious food! Highly recommend to visit this place

    Rice and meat

Rice and meat were way too greasy. Also there is a kid working there who was extremely unprofessional and was very loud. Made the restaurant atmosphere feel uncomfortable and awkward. Not going back unfortunately even though turkish food is my favorite!

Food was very yummy. Service was nice and welcome. Ambiance and aesthetic was clean. I want to try the Turkish coffee next time. A little pricey but I'm glad I tried this place out.

Amazing food and great service! The atmosphere was welcoming and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Definitely coming back again!

I didn't purchase food, but bought a dessert. The dessert looks good and tasty. The service was great. This is my first time here. The ambiance is a dessert and deli shop. I like the Baklava dessert which was good and not too sweet.

    Turkish coffee and desserts

Very good Turkish treats and food! Don't be fooled by the strip mall location. It's worth the visit.

My bf reminds me of this store we randomly came across one day. It has what the store in Lakewood has but more grocery options. Cute and homey store. I spent about 30mins+ give or take shopping for the family. There are many options of trinkets, chocolates (alcohol ones too) , drinks, mustards, curry ketchups, gummy candy, bread, gravy etc. I did notice they don't carry any Maggie products for gravy and such. I know that was my bro's first question as he prefers that brand lol. The staff is really kind. The deli dude was patient with me as I told him I have a lot to order. I met the female owner and she's a sweetheart. The cashier lady was also so helpful as I couldn't find a specific brand candy. She pointed me in the right direction and luckily there was enough :) There's plentiful parking in the lot, and can get pretty cramped when busy as it's not a big store but has many options. My basket total in my picture provided is $255. My brother in law asked me to take them here next time they're in town as there's so much to look at.

They have a list of combos that are huge portions for at least 2-3 meals? My husband got the fried catfish with choice of 3 sides & I got the 3 wings with 3 sides combo. The catfish was moist on the inside & light & crisp with a cornmeal crust on the outside. 2 big filets in his combo with 3 sides, he chose Mac & cheese, collard greens with turkey neck meat(no pork) & candied yams...all so tasty & huge portions. The special today was chicken etouffee served on a bed of white rice for $13! The gravy was rich & flavorful, the chicken was tender. So tasty...they also have a combo with BBQ ribs that are so tender the meat falls off the bone clean! All combos also come with a square slice of cornbread. Their cornbread is more cake like & sweet style. The owner Kenny is nice & hospitable, attentive always making sure everything is ok. I was too full for Dole Whip today but they had original pineapple flavor & watermelon as well...the 2nd flavor changes periodically but they always have pineapple. Soulfood Sunday is always the last Sunday of the month but they always have wings, catfish, grilled sandwiches & more on the daily & they even have a tables & chairs as well as a high counter seating along the window. Stop by for some hearty tasty eats! The store side of the shop has some really great products...way better than any corner store you've stepped foot in, very nice shop. Unexpected little corner market with good food, great groceries & all the vibes. Check it out the next time you are in downtown Renton.

It warms my heart to see young families gathering on the weekends, students stopping in for a snack, older people having their morning coffee and newspaper, and workers grabbing a quick lunch. I especially love their Dole whip and fried chicken for a fun snack! This Market is also involved in a lot of the local events and efforts to strengthen the community and draw in business to the area, so you'll see them participating in dragon themed art competitions, the annual dragon egg hunt, and other cool events. As others have noted, parking can be tricky and limited. I prefer freshly sliced deli meats over those pre-sliced, packaged cold cuts, hands down! Most of the meats are imported from the EU. The first thing I am definitely lost without a Google lens here. However I came here with a Russian speaking friend so I already had great guide. I actually loved the variety here - many unique tea - I will certainly try them next time. The Halva and chocolate assortment is really unique here. I got some Ukrainian Marshmallow - umm I don't know if I liked it - it was too sweet. However the eggplant jar - that was sooo good. Absolutely loved it. One thing is for sure I can go anywhere in world and food will be better than American and British. I wanted to try bread but since it was evening the stock was almost empty. I did got a buckwheat bread which is interesting. The place can definitely benefit from a ambience upgrade - feels little messy and can use some organization. Otherwise a top spot !

This is going to be long…read more... I'm not quite sure what brought me to Sunshine Corners. I would almost call it serendipity, but I was certainly searching for something, I just didn't know exactly what. I had a day off and had spent the earlier part of it wandering, looking for any remaining independent produce stands, butcher shops, or just something that felt like it would nourish and heal me because I had been feeling....well? physically, emotionally, existentially, and psychologically, like absolute crap. Historically I've spent years independently studying nutrition and biochemistry, herbalism and traditional medicine, but over the years I'd strayed from those things and lost my way. All this to say I may have forgotten some things but I recognize when someone else knows their stuff. I wandered into Sunshine Corners, originally for a good sandwich and maybe some produce. What immediately struck me was how comforting this place was, and how much it felt like the old school apothecaries or coop's before they became adulterated by mainstream capitalist influences. Stay with me here. I overheard Tony talking to one of the people at the front desk and immediately realized "ok, that guy knows his stuff". Meekly, when he had a moment, I walked over to him and basically, in a sort of desperate manner, laid out my litany of aches and pains and mysterious ailments, expecting an abrupt hand waving answer. That is not what I got. Tony spent what might have been somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour with me, patiently asking me questions and pulling out reference literature. He recognized things in me that no one else had been able to see, and pointed me in a direction that has allowed me to focus on actually getting better rather than just collapsing in frustration. Tony, if you're reading this, the time you spent helping me meant so much to me. Your years of wisdom made a huge impact, but more importantly, your humanity.

I would love to give it 5 stars and expected to feel a 5 star visit. I have been told over an over by friends to talk to Tony, and so, this time, I did. I had needs, based on a protocol that I researched, and Tony offered alternatives, claiming them to be superior. When I pushed back sticking to items I was more sure about, he seemed put-off, stand-offish. The store was super busy, people asked him for advice, he handed them bottles, they paid and left. It was a little weird. I didn't mind at all that he went off to help others, but he avoided contact with me from there out. As I was leaving after spending nearly $200 cash, I shouted, "Thanks Tony," and his "bye" was somewhat of a good-riddance. a couple days later; the one alternative that I took his advice on, I reacted horribly to. When I called the store to find out if he had a specific brand I wanted, he shiftily attempted to sell the same one I reacted to already, so I explained that I bought that one on his suggestion and reacted horribly. He was quite aloof, saying [the brand I wanted was] "not right, now" [in stock]. It's not that I won't shop there anymore, but I don't feel welcome, and will consider other options moreso now, but for sure will not be engaging with Tony when I do. I go out of my support local businesses that don't have political pull. Don't get me wrong... I witnessed that Tony is super kind to those that take his advice. His customers are his fans. I just feel shafted. Maybe he can recommend a cream for that ;)

Where do I even start with this place?…read more My son and I were really hungry and craving something different, so I turned to Yelp to find a great sandwich spot. I almost went to a place in Kent but wasn't completely sold, so I searched again--and that's when I found Aunt Becky's. What a gem! We originally planned to get our lunches to go, but once we arrived, we decided to stay and eat inside. The women behind the counter were absolutely lovely--so patient and helpful as they answered all our questions. The menu is clearly displayed behind the counter, and there's a fun assortment of snacks and drinks up front. I ordered a toasted BLT, which was delicious (though I can't remember exactly what my son got). While my sandwich in and of itself might not look absolutely delicious - remember that looks can be deceiving and this sandwich was life-changing on the day we went! The vibe inside is laid-back and cozy. The decor is a little older, but it just adds to the homey feel. It's clearly a spot loved by families, local businesses, and workers from nearby construction sites--people were coming in and out the whole time for takeout. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend you check it out too. You won't be disappointed! See ya there!
