I prefer freshly sliced deli meats over those pre-sliced, packaged cold cuts, hands down! Most of the meats are imported from the EU. One thing is for sure I can go anywhere in world and food will be better than American and British. I wanted to try bread but since it was evening the stock was almost empty. I work across the street from there and eat there at least 3 times a week and have NEVER had a bad experience. I've eaten through most of the menu but must confess to having several menu favorites. The very first visit they had chicken gumbo soup on the menu and it is some of the best I have ever eaten. They are a wonderful family, they remember their customer's and are always so happy to see them when they come in, it's really like going to a friend's place for lunch....that friendly. When I am training new employees, I always steer them towards Leaf's and everyone has always come back loving what they had, never a negative comment from a single person I send over.
