First, definitely plan to spend some extra time here because the food and drinks can take a while to come out. The raspberry hibiscus tea especially doesn't taste as fresh as it used to. It almost has an "old" taste to it, and I'm not sure if they changed the syrup or the way it's made, but it definitely doesn't taste the same as it did when they first opened. I've also noticed that the coffee is very inconsistent. Even when I order the exact same drink, it seems to taste different every time. Some days it's really good, and other days it tastes completely different. I'm sharing this because I genuinely used to enjoy Trio, and I'd love to see the consistency and quality return to what it was when they first opened. The barista greeted me with a smile, was friendly and welcoming, and made an outstanding Americano. It was incredibly smooth and one of the better Americanos I've had in a long time. I also appreciated that my drink was served in a real ceramic mug for a dine-in order--a small touch that made the experience feel warm and inviting. As someone who likes to get an early start, I was also happy to find plenty of outlets and reliable Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot to get some work done before the day begins.
