I purchased 3 packages from. They have been giving me the run around on completing services. I have spent so much time trying to get my momey back it is ridiculous. I've sent emails to countless reps, called corporate and juat get no where. It's absurd how such a well known company has such terrible service. If they offer to sell you a package at a disccounted price and the invoice does not include the services they claim you are paying for do not proceed with the transaction. This is what happened with me, the assured me the system would show was discussed but the invoice did not. Despite me clarifying before and after the transaction went through. I booked Potenza and added salmon DNA something I specifically chose for my sensitive skin and to support better healing and results. The front desk confirmed I had the add-on when I checked in. On the way home after the treatment I realized I wasn't given any post-care instructions, which immediately felt off. I called to ask and that's when they told me they forgot to apply the salmon DNA entirely. No one noticed. No one followed up. If I hadn't called, I honestly don't think they would've said anything. That's really disappointing. To make it worse, they suggested I could just use the DNA with my Clear + Brilliant sessions instead, which doesn't give the same benefits. Potenza targets deeper layers of the skin, and I paid for that specific combination on purpose. These are high-cost treatments and people deserve transparency and the care they paid for. Not sure what they would have done had I not had the package for c&b already. If you're getting treatments here, double-check everything during your appointment. Make sure what you paid for is actually being done. Potenza results take 6 months. I will have to wait to use the DNA for next time and 1 will be wasted with c&b. I recently completed 18 sessions (9 Brazilian and 9 underarms) laser hair removal. This package, including my additional single session purchase for Brazilian, was to say the least very expensive, but I hoped for good results. The salon itself is very clean and the staff are nice. Easy to make appointments. Fast service. As for the treatments, the results were just "ok." Not worth the thousands of dollars spent. I waited 2 months after my last treatment to write this review to really evaluate the results and sadly I've come to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the money. My right underarm has little to no change. Left underarm has roughly 40-50% less hair. Brazillian had the best results with about 75% less hair. It was disappointing that the results didn't match the costs. I could have gone to several other businesses for a fifth of the cost. For those considering laser hair removal, I strongly suggest trying a cheaper route first. I know several girls who've used Groupons with much better results and even if there's more sessions needed, you could purchase more sessions and still not pay even close to LaserAways costs. read more

I'm really disappointed with how unprofessional LaserAway Folsom has been with appointment handling. This isn't the first time they've canceled on me last-minute. Today, I had a scheduled appointment at noon, and all I received was a generic text saying it was canceled--with no explanation or courtesy call. As a paying client, I expect better communication and at the very least, a proper follow-up to reschedule me promptly. I love love love the Folsom location. They are super nice, quick, and very welcoming. I enjoy the front girls, they are super nice on the phone and making new appointments when in the store. Never ever super pushy but they do let you know if they have things they can offer you. I've enjoyed this location way more then the Downtown Sacramento location. The staff that does the treatment are always super nice also! They make sure you're super comfortable and all your questions are answered before you leave. It's in a shopping center so parking is a little bit of a hassle but if your appointment is at a relatively earlier time I think it's easier to find parking. Also! If I could give negative stars I would. I went here for a Brazilian and under arm hair removal and not only did it not work, AT ALL, the way they handled my questions and concerns the entire time (after 8 sessions) is appalling. First of all they advertise it to be "almost painless". This is the first complete lie. I have tattoos all over my body and a very high pain tolerance and this was like torture. The next day I was all red and swollen and couldn't even walk. Had to call out sick for work. After the first session I called with my concern and they said "try and shave a day or two before. I know we say day of but this will help". I tried this the next session and the pain was still just as bad. By the third session I talked to the person at the front desk and told them these sessions are super painful, the aftermath is painful and I don't notice my hair thinning at all. They told me to trust in the process and just complete the 8 sessions. I started to get crippling anxiety before I would go in. Every time I went in it was a different nurse and the sessions would last anywhere between 3 minutes and 20 minutes. Make this make sense. Several times I had two nurses because they were training someone. By my fifth session I was pissed and started asking the nurses about their experience and they all told me the same thing: it doesn't ever work with 8 sessions, in order for it to work it has to be turned up all the way (making it EXTREMELY painful), the hair always grows back and there's always new nurses and a huge turn over in staff because they don't treat or pay their employees well. Finally on my LAST session, the nurse offers me ice first. What?? Why had no one offered me ice before????? The ice helped out a TON with the pain and swelling. I was furious. At this point I did not see any difference in my hair growth. They told me to make a follow up appointment in 8 weeks to assess. I did. They took photos and asked me what I thought. I said I see no difference from when I started. The nurse looked me dead in the eye and said "no, it's 70% less" even though they never did any before photos and I'd never even seen or met this nurse before this appointment. I tried following up with customer service and their corporate office. They basically told me I shouldn't have completed the sessions if I wanted a refund or store credit. I was instructed by their staff that all I could do was complete these painful sessions. Eventually corporate stopped responding to me and now I'm out over two thousand dollars. Absolutely insane. Even driving by this place gives me PTSD and angers me. Worst customer service in the world and a huge scam. I went back to my esthetician to get waxed (cuz I still have full hair everywhere) and she said she's heard this happening from other clients. Biggest mistake. Great right from the beginning! I inquired about laser treatment and Steph was super helpful and informative. She answered all my questions and then some. After deciding on what areas I wanted to treat, I had a brief intake call with another staff member then scheduled my first appointment. First appointment was amazing. The woman who did my treatment was very professional and knowledgeable. She went over after care in detail, answered all my questions, and made me feel so comfortable. I recently had my second appointment and it was just as good as the first appointment. I followed all the before and after care instructions on their website and had very very minimal discomfort. The pain during treatment was minimal and the only "side effects" I've experienced are laser bumps. But even these go away with a few days. I know everyone's experience is unique but I noticed a significant difference even after the first appointment. Really looking forward to completing all the recommended treatments! I've been wanting to get lip fillers for a while and decided to finally take the plunge. Because of my great experience, I reached out to Steph again. She, again, answered all my millions of questions and got me scheduled for next week! Review strictly for the Clear & Brilliant procedure. From what I recall it's suppose to help reduce pore sizes and overall texture on the face. After 2 months and 2 treatments. My face has become more radiant and I feel confident walking around bare face. However, my pores are still the same size. 1. Nurses will apply numbing cream on the face for 30 min. (its a bit chilly in the rooms, so grab a jacket) 2. The laser treatment itself after the numbing takes about??? ~20 min 3. I have high pain tolerance and the last one did almost bring me to tears. 4. You will be red afterwards - ask for an ice pack and sunblock. AVOID THEE SUN for 1-2 weeks. Takes me 3-4 days to look slightly normal again. So if you got somewhere fancy to go the next day, reschedule it. 5. It does break you out a bit. Make sure you ask all your questions during nurse consultations. Everyone's skin and texture are different, so results will vary. Laseraway always have great package deals - so go ahead and grab some and start becoming a more confident you. read more

If you were thinking of getting laser hair removal go to any company but LaserAway. I try to give this big corporate company. The benefit of the doubt and I got screwed over almost $5000. Those consultations that they do isn't with the nurse. It's actually a sales rep and it's not an actual consultation. I was told I was a "perfect candidate" for laser hair removal during my consultation. After eight sessions I am still waiting for the results. We went up to the highest setting and I cannot believe I wasted almost $5000. During one of my sessions in Sacramento I was told it looks like the Folsom location was actually missing a whole bottom side of my armpit and they were not getting that area treated... I was completely shocked when one of the nurses told me this. I did a post treatment evaluation due to the lack of results on all my areas (Brazilian lower legs and arm pits) and of course the only thing they recommended was I purchase more sessions. I am so disappointed!!!!! my sister went to get laser done at SEV in Roseville and has had such amazing results I regret not going there the treatment is cheaper and more effective! A couple of years ago I tried Clear & Brilliant. After months of procedures, my skin ended up looking worse. The nurses even seemed surprised at the results, apologized & said it doesn't work for everyone. For the past year my daughter & I have been getting laser hair removal. It didn't work for either of us. Now they want us to purchase 6 more sessions & they think that should do it. What a scam. If they cranked the lasers up a little higher this probably wouldn't be an issue. I've had laser hair removal performed elsewhere 10 years ago & it worked great. I'm just so happy I made the jump to try Laseraway! I have been getting Clear and Brilliant facials once a month (or so) for about 6 months. My main focus was to reduce my acne scarring and enlarged pores. My skin has improved by at least 50%! I have tried everything before this with no improvement so I am just so happy to be on the right track. I bought the 12 pack so I am so excited to see what my results will look like over the next 6 months! On my 30th birthday (two months ago), I decided to gift myself lip fillers and was so stinking nervous. But by the grace of God, I got Natalia (not sure if that's how she spells her name) and she did the BEST job ever. And she was patient with me when I was being a total baby (because lip fillers are NOT fun guys)! She listened to what I wanted but also gave me her professional opinion which was exactly what I needed as a newbie. I went back today for a little more shaping and volume and ugh- I'm just obsessed. I had been contemplating lip fillers for a few years now and I finally decided to take the plunge. I reached out to Laser away in Folsom and spoke with an amazing rep named Kat. She got me in as soon as possible, sent me all the information I could possibly need and broke down the whole process. It was an amazing experience. I went in for my appointment and the ladies at the front were super friendly and inviting. They checked me in and I only waited a few minutes the one of the girls took me back to start numbing. When the nurse came in, she went over my medical history and went over how everything would work. Very professional and thorough! As a lip filler newbie, I was very nervous but all the ladies I spoke with definitely put me at ease. With the numbing cream I did not feel any discomfort at all and it took less than 30 minutes to do! 3 days after my procedure, they are a little swollen but that's to be expected, and I'm excited to see what they look like after the swelling subsides! Instead he proceeded to tell me how I was wrong and even though I repeatedly said I understood his point, but still disagreed. She made the experience pleasant by informing me of what to expect ahead of time. They're ok. The laser facials are good but they seem to be getting too busy. I waited over 20 minutes for my appointment before I had to reschedule because I have a baby and a toddler at home. They took 2 other patients who arrived after me for their appointments and that is just so frustrating to see. Apparently a patient from earlier was still in the room I was supposed to be in. Looks like they need to add more time in between appointments. Thankfully there's another laser center opening close by so I'm hoping it'll make this place less busy so I can actually get my treatment. read more

If I could rate the staff/friendliness differently than I could rate the actual procedure, I would in a heart beat. The employees are so helpful, kind, and welcoming. Any time I had a laser treatment done, it was a great experience. I can not compliment their customer service enough. Sadly, I am so disappointed in the results of my laser treatments. From the get go, I was told that I was the perfect candidate. My skin is incredibly fair and my hair is incredibly dark. They told me that these treatments would work wonderfully on me and that I may only have to do a few touch ups over the next few years. Sadly, 7 treatments and almost a year later, I see mild results on my legs and almost no results on "other" areas. During my very last treatment, I asked my nurse if I would see more results as the weeks went on. She went on on to explain that the Brazilian is the hardest because your body works so hard to keep that area safe. That would have bee great to know in the very beginning... I spent thousands of dollars getting 7 treatments done only to be told on the last one that it may not work. Sadly, it did not. There is little to no difference since a year ago when I started. The suggestion given was to sign up for 6 more treatments. I feel a little duped if I am being honest. I really tried to do something that would be an investment into myself, and sadly it did not pay off. read more

Do not talk to Nicole at the front desk. I have attempted to book appointments a of couple times now and unfortunately got her on the phone. She is extremely rude, dismissive and disrespectful. Asking any questions and confirming details is beyond her capabilities and while I thought she may have been having a bad day the first time, the second time(different day) has confirmed she is miserable at her job and shouldn't be in any customer service job that wants to retain their clientele. Today I called in to confirm my appointment that I booked a month ago and is now 3 days out, was correctly scheduled with Karishma, who is an exceptionally skilled injectable nurse, only to find out that she is training new nurses so I simply asked for her next available appointment. Karishma is quite popular and can be hard to book with and the ladies up front don't get their schedule very far in advance so I understand it's best to confirm ahead of time and be patient with timing. I let Nicole know I was open to breaking up the appointment and/or whatever time works best. Nicole first tried to squeeze a 30 minute Botox appointment into a 15 minute slot which I said I would rather look further out for an appropriate 30 minute slot as it's been awhile since I have gotten Botox. She didn't like that response as her tone changed negatively and she proceeded to try to get me off the phone by saying she would call me back with more options, I told her I was okay to hold, this was my third time today trying to get this confirmed and setup. She then placed me on a short hold and came back with an appointment 3 weeks out where she said she could do both Botox and filler. I said that works and asked about specifics with how the appointment was being booked so I know what to expect specifically time wise, this is the point where she got very rude and dismissive telling me she was just making a block and we would figure it out the day of. I let it go as I felt I couldn't get anymore clarification from her and then let her know that I had previously scheduled a follow up appointment 4 weeks from the original appointment and asked to reschedule that appointment so I could get the touch-up with Karishma, she huffed in annoyance and put me on hold before I could say anything and left me there indefinitely which I then received the new scheduled appointments via text and after 10 minutes of waiting on hold I figured it was a lost cause and she was never coming back. She made me feel that I was so rude to even call in the first place and with every question the frustration built. I have been treated by Karishma for years and stuck with this company because of her and I am now considering a refund of the unused 3k in packages I recently purchased as it not okay to treat people this way. It is my face, my money and my right to choose and while I am understanding to the fact that there is a wait to get an appointment with a specific nurse and that it is up to me to confirm that all is booked correctly prior to, it is greatly unfortunate that anyone would be treated so disrespectfully for inquiring and confirming details. The one star rating is not reflective of the nurses who are always sweet and great, and namely Karishma is excellent and five stars. This rating is reflective of how Nicole and the front desk manage their phones, books and how they speak to patients. I called back to finish setting up the second appointment and asked to speak to someone else when Nicole answered and she told me I would receive a call back from the other associate, it has now been over a hour that I have been waiting for the callback and this is the second time today I was told I would get a callback and I have yet to get any calls. read more

Super helpful staff! Answered all my questions regarding packages and special offers best to fit my needs and budget. They have extras, too! Like makeup and sunscreens to help with sun exposure. Especially after my laser hair removal on my jawline, sunscreen is imperative. When in a session, the nurse asks about medication, tattoos, etc to make sure that they treat the area correctly, without any hiccups. I've had laser before that was unsuccessful.
