We signed the contract on 9/18/2024 and paid the deposit of $2500 which was due that day. The remaining $2500 was due upon completion. This "company" showed up on their first day with 2 workers who were continuously sitting and taking breaks, rather than working which is what we hired them for. When they finished for the day, the owner decided to leave his trailor in our driveway without our permission. When he showed up the next day, it was gone yet all of his supplies.. trimmers, etc were laid out in the driveway. He claimed it had been stollen and that he would be suing us because it was on our property. The police were called and a report was filed. The police stated to us they believe it was an inside job to get money out of us (the insurance company). They stated if we had any issues, to give them a call and that specific officer left us his number. The following day, the owner didnt show up but 2 other workers did and they started working on the retaining wall. When they were "done" this, it looked incomplete and horribly done. The pictures will be posted. The following day, no one showed up so I sent a text ro the owner asking why him and his workers weren't there. He called me and stated they "found" his trailor in NY and he was on his way to pick it up and that he would be at our house around 3pm that day to do work. He never showed. The following day he showed up, pulling up in our front yard only to pick up supplies for another job. I asked why he wasn't working on our project that we were paying him for.. his response was he would be back tomorrow to complete the job. He showed up the next day, my husband was home from work because his father was in hospice and not doing well and inwas 7 months pregnant and also not doing well. The owner knew this and took co plate advantage by asking if we could pay him the remaining $2500 because he didnt have the money to pay his employees. My husband being in a vulnerable state went ahead and gave him a check.. that was also cashed so he could "pay his employees". The following day my husband's father passed.. and the owner yet again did not show to complete the job. When I messaged him again, he stated he would be at our house the next day to finish. He showed up with his spouse with bags of mulch and 4 "bushes" all the same. He didn't bring enough mulch and the "bushes" were not spaced out even remotely decent. Him and his spouse were there for roughly 15 minutes and left stating the job was done. I reached out ro him the next day inquiring about the japanese maple tree and remaining supplies that were left on the side of our house. He stated he couldn't locate any of those trees at that time and that he would bring it in the spring. He stated he would have a coworker come and pick up the remaining supplies. My husband and I agreed on the tree being delivered in the spring. I reached out again to the owner stating the remaining supplies had not been picked up and that it needed to be. He stated he would be over later that afternoon, yet never showed up and never heard from him again. I reached out to him I believe in April asking when our japanese maple tree would be delivered and planted. He refused to respond. I continued to message the owner until he finally answered and he stated we would not be receiving it as his trailor was "stollen" off of our property and that we would be getting sued and to wait to hear from his lawyer. I responded with he was not given permission to leave it on our property, and that he stated in a phone call that they found his trailor in NY andnthat he went ro pick it up.. was supposed to be at our house to work on the project and never showed up. He told me not to message him anymore and that if I did, he would be getting a restraining order for harassment. I didnt have a chance to respond because he then started continuously sending text after text to the point where I had to block him on my phone. Still to this day he is blocked. Needless to say we never received our tree we paid for and the job was incomplete. Yesterday on 8/6/2025 he posted a post on the Harford Happenings page. I gave a review stating not ro go with this company for anything and stated not in complete detail why and what happened with the job we hired him to do. He posted in the thread that isn't what happened, he stated we showed up on his property with a gun and thats why the police were called and a peace order was put in place and that we refused to pay for the job he had done. Before I had a chance to reply, he blocked me from posting anything else on the thread to defend what really happened. He continuously kept posting untrue posts. Because of this, he was reported and the post was taken down. Luckily I took screenshot of what was posted.
