My coffee order that may become my go to if I can't find the courage to branch out because its so perfect is: A large iced coffee with 1 pump strawberry and a splash of milk! The strawberry flavor does not taste artificial. I wish they had a bigger size, it's so good! The breakfast crunch wrap is way better than any Dunkin or Starbies could ever do. Hashbrown is crispy - not greasy -, egg was slightly jammie in the middle, and bacon was somehow still semi-crispy considering it sat in the paper bag wrapped up hot! I was in a rush to get to a meeting and I felt like I fell down a rabbit hole. The decor is very 1960's (50's? maybe I'm completely off on the era) but perfectly preserved. It's fun and bright and the staff were also extremely nice (and working like busy bees! I felt like I was in a movie). My coffee was really flavorful and smooth. Sandwich was a little dry with simply egg and cheese (but that's what I'd ordered so no worries). As part of the extensive food and drink menu, there were loads of gluten free options and I look forward to coming back to try another!

I also ordered a spinach croissant (which was small, and did not have much seasoning or flavor when compared to all the other spinach croissants I have eaten) and a chicken pastelito. The total cost was NOT cheap--nearly $15! The pastelito was warm, and although it was tasty, it was not extraordinary--much less heavenly! So this first experience with Toma Toma was not as special as I had anticipated, nor indeed as I had wanted. Nice little place, and very kind owner, but I would recommend the Alchemist Bakery in Canton over Toma Toma, ten times out of ten, as they have better coffee, better prices and infinitely better pastries!

Any proper Portuguese bakery must make fresh loaves of sweet bread. Yes, this bakery has the requisite homemade sweet bread (a note: growing up in Rhode Island, where there is a substantial Portuguese population, I had Portuguese sweet bread all the time--try it for French toast--but I have not yet tried Stoughton bakery's). And it has delicious custard tarts, and egg tarts, too. And they have Portuguese fried dough (it has a name in Portuguese, which I can't remember!) which is chewy and sugary, and has a gentle hint of lemon. Yum. It's on a side street very near the Stoughton MBTA station. It's a small and very clean place, with somewhat limited offerings, but everything I have had is the real deal. I got the Cinnamon Hazelnut with cold foam. My husband ordered a cappuccino, which only one of three staff knew how to make, so probably a sign to lean towards iced. It's definitely a fun spot, but menu is very overwhelming, glad I visited this classic staple for the area, but I did enjoy many of the other coffee shops I visited while there a bit more!

I've visited this place a thousand times or more at this point and have never received such a warm welcome! Not saying I haven't had a great experience the whole time but this was different and It's not about just the difficult coffee even though it was perfect! I looked at the doughnuts in the display case so I could pick out a different kind of doughnut and I opted for a glazed doughnut. It was a very good alternative. It was very tasty and still seemed fairly fresh. There is a small seating area at this location but I decided to take my doughnut home to enjoy. Service at the counter was fast and polite. There was no problem at all finding a parking space in their parking lot. I will definitely go back again and next time earlier in the day so that their full selection of doughnuts will be more available to me.
