$15.00 for two bites of fish . Not worth $14.52! You get plenty of vegetables, just no meat

If you're looking for consistently solid, fresh, great tasting, homestyle cooking, simply look no further. Mary's Cafe is truly a great culinary jewel in the Rock Hill area. I love Mary's not only for their great food and wonderful service, but for the throwback memories that it gives me to the type of great homestyle meals that I enjoyed growing up in the South. I dare you to find friendlier, more efficient waitstaff, who make you feel like you're not just a paying customer, but family. This is a wonderful sentiment also displayed by the owners as well who are wonderful folks. In a day and age of forgettable, poorly prepared and even worse tasting fast food, I am thankful for Mary's Cafe, where you can always go for a legitimately square, solid, homecooked style meal that always tastes fresh and great. The seating arrangements are plentiful and quite comfortable. The menu is expansive and the food always arrives magically fast after ordering, and always remains consistent and great tasting! If you haven't been to Mary's Cafe, then you're definitely missing out on one of Rock Hill's best eateries.

My sister and I eat here every Tuesday, I've literally tried everything on the menu, and for the amount of food/quality of it, it's a steal deal. Home cooked meals with an outstanding va... what more could you ask for??

Decent quality, fast service, and great prices. It's been a staple of mine since moving here 9 years ago.

I want to start by saying this is not the first, second, or even third time I've had a poor…read moreexperience at this location. Unfortunately, there seems to be a consistent lack of customer service, consideration, and basic empathy. During my most recent visit, the woman I spoke with...who had glasses and shoulder length hair...was in the middle of making soap, which I understood she couldn't immediately stop. However, when I explained what I was looking for, instead of offering assistance or even a bit of understanding, I felt completely brushed off. This same dismissive attitude has been present every time I've visited. Because of these repeated experiences, I will no longer be a customer, and I won't be recommending this business to anyone...

There were only a sprinkling of items on sale (like a few T-shirts, sunglasses, and some miscellaneous items), so still a bit to check out. More than retail, it seems the place is now more of an artsy crafty place than a retail store. The entire place looked bigger...more space, since less retail. I thought they should have had some overhead music to fill the empty space, and give it more of a vibe. They still had this bar area, where they served wine (aside from the Jackass Cafe in the back). Still, I love the big, wide, open space that this place has to offer...and its Bohemian vibe. And did I mention their awesome artwork on their walls - both inside and out? I left the store thinking I should partake in their jewelry making on my next visit!
