If I could give 0 stars I would. Once I picked up my dog he seems fine. As soon as I got home I noticed he kept licking his private. So I checked him and his ball was super red.It looked like a burn mark!!! I went to the pet store and got him a cream to help ease the pain but he wasn't letting me even touch it! Once I finally was able to put it on him, he felt better and just laid there and start licking me. Mary never even mentioned anything when I picked him up either! Owner is rude and disrespectful no customer service. I asked her how much would she charge after she put my puddle in a kennel. She said between 75 to 90 dollars. Because hair had nots which she lied because I brush her hair once to twice a day. I'm surprised this place still open. They were so rude to me when stated my dog tried to bite the groomer. My dog has never tried or bitten anyone before, which makes me think they weren't handling her properly in the first place. My neighbor recommended me this place, I dropped off my dog and I checked the reviews after drop off. I was petrified after reading all the negative reviews and really wanted to go get my dog back. However I decided to take a moment and give them a chance because my neighbors dog looks great. Mary called me a few hours after and I couldn't recognize my dog! He was no longer dirty, with a messy hair and long nails. He looked like a total different dog, so soft and well groomed. If you care about your pet I highly suggest to choose a different groomer. My family was recommended to this groomer through a friend so they took my toy poodle for grooming. Not only did they cut him, they tried to cover up his scab by squeezing his skin together and applying a glue like material. Once we picked up our dog we noticed he was uncomfortable and continued to lick himself in the area he was cut, it was then that we noticed a huge scab that was attempted to be covered. I was baffled by this groomers actions and the harm it could cause to our dog by getting infected and becoming a worse issue. He now has to have a cone on his head to prevent him from licking the wounded area and we had to get him a antibiotic. I called the vet and spoke with Mary, she said that "Lena" "Nena" was the one who groomer my dog. She claims she is a contractor and works periodically and she doesn't even know her phone number to reach her. She also mentioned that the groomer told her she may have clipped our dog and both of them failed to disclose this information to us. She then asked if she can see a picture, when I asked for a phone number to send the picture to she took down my number and never got back to me. Once I looked at the other yelp reviews I have been more than mortified. It is baffling what people do to animals and how they're mistreated. I would never come here again. read more

So I dropped off my baby at around 10:30am and was told he would be done around 1 or 2pm. It's 2:40 now and I decided to stop by to check in on him because I haven't received a call. They haven't even stared on him! So that means that he's been in a tiny little kennel for what? 4 hours?!!! When I walked in the lady looked surprised that I had stopped by (they told me he would be done around 1 or 2). She told me that he was just getting ready to be bathed -__- he was still in his cage thing! I told her he has a vet appointment at 4 but I need him ready by 3:30 so she said he would be ready before then and that she'll give me a call. We'll see if she stays true to her word... UPDATE: They called me at 3:48pm to tell me that he was ready. I waited outside and I think she only called me because she saw me waiting outside when she went to her car. The grooming is ok, he looks a little bit patchy but it might be that he was moving a lot because he's not used to it, and he smells great. He got a little bandana too. For the price, I guess it's decent but the wait is ridiculous!!! They should've told me to go back later so he wouldn't be waiting so long in the cage. read more

I've took my dog here for a couple of apointments through out 2 years and when its time to pick her, up the owner or lady always tells me that my dog had pooped on herself during her appointment. At first I was in denial assuming that my dog was scared, but me being her owner I've never seen her poop out of fear. The last appointment was the worst. I was bringing her back home and my dog had her tail between her legs, and not acting like herself. I gave her some treats hoping she would forgive me and promised to never take her back. Bad haircut, overcharged me; the owner Mary told me a set price, and when I went to pick up my Maltese, she added charges she didn't tell me about. The worse thing of all, she CUT my doggy's ear. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I really struggled with whether or not to write a review of this place. I didn't want my emotions to get in the way of the facts, so I waited a week. I brought my 4.5 lb Yorkie here because she was a mess and my regular groomer was booked. First off, my regular groomer has a Yorkie specialist, so I should have just waited for her. Anyway, I brought her in on a last Friday morning. As soon as I sat her on the counter, she began shivering. She doesn't normally do that to this extent. "Mary" ripped off a piece of paper, wrote Name: Number: Dog Name: and gave it to me. I filled it out. I explained that she had been running around the yard and got bark from the landscaping mangled in her fur and could she get it out. She said yes. THEN she said "OH wait, you didn't fill this out." She handed me back the paper and had now written "Comments:" on the paper. I said "it didn't say that when you handed it to me." She said I need to know if there is anything special about her. I said there isn't, so SHE put a line through that area. I got a call about two hours later asking if she was sick. I said no. She said she is pooping diarrhea, I said she hasn't had any problems. I asked if maybe she was nervous and she said didn't think it was that. She said she would finish her up real quick. I got a call about 15 minutes later from her FRANTIC saying that the dog was sick and I need to GET HER OUT OF HERE she was pooping all over EVERYTHING. I immediately left work to go pick her up. I got there and she was in a plastic grocery bag inside of a tiny dark crate. She was covered in poopies. She said "there is something wrong with your dog, it has parvo or something." I said she doesn't have Parvo. She argued how do I know, she goes outside, she could get it. I assured her that she was the fifth inclusive of the to dogs that I have at home that are in our yard and they are not sick. She does not go the the park or on walks. She said "I need to see her shot records". I happened to have them in my car so I brought them in. She inspected them and accused me of not being her owner because the breeder's name was on the shot records. After convincing her I was the owner she started in again. She said "well SOMETHING is wrong with her". I asked could she have gotten into something and she became very defensive. "What are you trying to say???" I said "I am just asking, was there another dog in the crate she was held in maybe she ate some poop or something". She said "HOW DARE YOU!" I again said "I am not accusing you, just trying to figure out what happened." She said "There is gonna be some money owed, cause we did work on her". I said "Of course, I understand" She ran my card and then said, "I am going to need to see some ID" I opened my walled to show her, and she began to write down my numbers. I pulled my wallet back and she yanked it out of my hand. I briskly yanked it back and said "what are you doing. You don't need my license, the card already went through." She said "I need to verify who you are." I told her all you need to do is match my name with my card and picture. She said "I am reporting you to the Humane Society for bringing me that dog and getting all the other dogs sick." I told her "THAT dog rode 37 miles to work with me sitting on my car seat. I have a nice convertible car that I would not have risked if she had been sick. At that moment, I grabbed the receipt I was signing and began towards the door, not quick enough to keep from being yanked back by her holding my sweater. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I looked at her and said, "you do not want to do that lady" then headed out the door to the vet.... with my poor doggie in a trash bag. She never pooped again the entire way home. My dog was thoroughly inspected by our vet who said she clearly had been traumatized and was experiencing Onset Anxiety Diarrhea, and getting the rest of her trim done by them, she is still fine. She did not poop at the vet. They gave me some special food to settle her stomach and she is doing fine now. My vet recommended I report HER to animal control for telling me my dog and parvo and for the cruel treatment of my dog. My poor dog may never be the same. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. read more

Took my cocker spaniel here today. I dropped off my dog at 9 am was called at 2 pm to pick him up. Mary, the owner told me that my dog was very hyper. This was the first time I have heard this from a groomer. I believe she just said that to have an excuse to charge more. My dog was not himself when I called to him. He seemed lethargic; it was as though he had been treated badly. He seemed subdued. He was not acting like the happy dog he usually is. Don't ever take your dog here. I called in one time to ask if they had any availability and they said yes. But they won't take my dog in right away. So they said drop my dog off so she can get in the que for next appointment. I did that and I asked when will she be ready, they quoted me 3 hours from now (it was 2pm). I called like around 5:30. They said she wasn't ready. Then they told she'll be ready in a hour. An hour and half goes by, still no phone call. As fed up as I was, I ended up driving there so to see what the hell was going on. As I arrived I can see they were barely working on the lower part of my dogs body. Then when I asked the young gentleman who was grooming her what was the reason for the hold up, he said "they had a lot of dogs come in so they couldn't get to my dog in time. I kid you not this guy looked like he was getting high the whole time. His eyes were bloodshot red, and his speech was off. So I asked him how much longer? He said in about 30 mins. So I waited inside my car and I can hear my dog crying as he is clipping her nails off. By then I was already flabbergasted. So I had to wait an extra hour and a half for her to be done. By then it was already 9pm. My dog has been in a kennel for 7 FUCKING hours with no food or water. I hope state closures put this place out of business because it doesn't deserve to be treating pets and their owners like this read more

This place deserves zero stars! I gave it one star only because Yelp requires it to be able to review this place. I dropped off my precious dog with her and her male assistants. Got a phone call that my dog was bleeding, that my dog was moving too much and that's why she and her staff had accidentally cut her. I immediately stopped what I was doing and went to get my dog. I was on the verge of tears and asking for an explanation of how this could happen. Her male assistants are very confrontational and very unprofessional, as is Mary. She deflects a lot and casts blame. If my dog was moving that much for her to be able to cut her hair, why continue and why wasn't I informed of that? Never had an issue with other groomers of my dog not cooperating! Never again and will let others know of the treatment my precious pet was given. I got a call from mary ( " come pick up your dog ") They Abused My Husky . My husky was found inside a cage with cuts on her abdomen. Shaking and mistreated. My husky is not vicious at all . and they forced her by the collar and a rope (witnessed by me) My husky was treated like a horse.... I was looking for a new place to take my dog. I called on a Tuesday and the lady set an appointment for me for Saturday morning, "first thing" she said. I was one of the first people to arrive. I left my dog at 9 o'clock in the morning. she said she would call me when she was ready. at around 1145 I called to see if she was ready to go. I was told that I would be called and she wasn't ready yet. I waited and called again around 1 and still she was not ready. at 3 o'clock in the afternoon I was getting worried and called again. again I was told to be patient and wait. At this time I was getting angry. finally at 5 o'clock I called again because no one had called me. She said she was ready. My poor dog waited all day in a cage with no food and no water and when I went to pick her up she peed everywhere because she was so afraid and sad. Horrible service! read more

The absolutely worst grooming experience I have ever had. She quoted us at $35 for a 15 pound shitzu mix, who gets groomed regularly, mind you (no knots, tangles, etc). The only reason I took him here was because he needed to be groomed on short notice and everyone else was booked...I would soon find out why her schedule was so free. So I received a phone call stating he was ready to pick up. When I went to the counter, she informed me that she raised the price to $55 because he was a "hand full" and has also determined while grooming him he should be labeled a large dog. We're talking about a 15 pound shitzu mix!!! I asked her to explain how he was a hand full because this is the first time, after over 30 grooms, that I've heard this complaint. Her explanation, and I quote, "He was just a handful." What?!?!?!? After refusing to pay her $55 because, last minute, she also insisted that first time costumers pay cash and I did not have that much cash on me, she said she would bring it down to $45. And to think I was going to give her a $10 tip anyways!! My dog has gotten way better groom jobs for less than $45. $55 is just ridiculous for a dog this size. I guess we know why he was a handful, Mary and her crew are terrible at their job. Do yourself a favor and use your money elsewhere, unless you like terrible customer service. read more
