We ordered the Brookie, Almond Glaze, and a Lemon one. The lemon was definitely the most flavorful and bright tasting. I was a little disappointed with the brookie as it tasted more manufactured and plain than the others we ordered that tasted homemade. Size and price are real winners here as the cookies are Huge. All of our cookies were perfectly soft inside with a crispy outer ring. Easy to take bites without them crumbling into a million pieces while eating them which is awesome! They have a pretty wide variety to choose from. They also have a cooler of water and bottled soft drinks to purchase as well as ice cream and ice cream sand which cookies! There is something left to be desired about what it looks like inside as it feels cold, plain, and like you're ordering at a deli counter instead of a family cookie shop, but they have just recently opened and may change the interior yet. It is pretty small inside as they need most of the room for baking and preparing the items they offer. They did however greatly improve the exterior of this local building, as well as the parking lot and walkways to make it all more accessible, safe, and welcoming. There is a great shaded area in front of the building with picnic tables to eat your treats and a perfect volume playlist. We'll be back to try more flavors, especially the ice cream sandwiches which looked amazing. read more

Great cookies! I must say I was thoroughly impressed and they exceeded my expectations! We got 3 cookies, since most of the cookies were sold out by the time we arrived. This was on a Saturday evening, right after 7pm, so there were maybe 20 to 25 cookies left in the entire store We got an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, a Blackberry Lemon, and one Frosted Sugar Cookie as well (rainbow sprinkles on top). All were DELICIOUS and super high quality! Oatmeal Chocolate Chip was so surprising! It had a "meatier," denser texture and taste to it, almost darker flavor to it, a truly original oatmeal chocolate chip recipe that I've tasted in a while! Sweet, soft but dense, and even a little bit of crunch on the edges. I loved how all the flavors and textures blended together when chewing into the cookie, and not one flavor overpowered another. I usually expect heavy raisin or saccharine tastes when talking about an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, but again, I was so pleasantly surprised! There was a mealy, but sweet, chocolatey taste to it. I would have to say it's probably one of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! Blackberry Lemon was very tasty, with a really nice, thin blackberry filling layer to it! The cookie was soft and definitely more airy and fluffy in texture and tasted lighter as well. Not as dense and a little more crumbly. Nice lemony flavor without being overpowering in taste also. I would say you really tasted the sugar cookie the strongest with the blackberry filling coming in second, then the lemon frosting being almost like a third layer add-on, which is a nice way to round out the cookie taste. Frosted Sugar cookie was also a light more airy, fluffy, and crumbly cookie as well. My son absolutely loved this cookie and said, "IT'S SO GOOD!!" several times. Frosting with rainbow sprinkles personally weren't my personal favorite, though still a pretty solid cookie and very tasty! Honorable mention: They have a freezer full of ready to bake cookie dough in tupperware ready to buy and bake when you get home, with baking instructions written on top as well! Ice cream options available as well, and some pies too. All in all, this is a GREAT place, whose location is a bit tucked away by Hutto's city hall, but well worth the trip, especially if you live within a 10-15 mile radius of Hutto. I absolutely had to come back. I was craving something sweet and this Mary's Mountain Cookies is going to hit the spot every single time. This time they had a NEW cookie and I was automatically drawn in by the name: Spice Girl! Um, YESSS! It was a sugar cookie base with chamoy glaze and tajin sprinkle. That checks some many delicious boxes but the best part about it? It tastes EXACTLY like an orange starburst. I had my family do a side by side taste comparison and it is 100% identical. I know you may think that sounds a bit odd but it was actually surprisingly delicious! And I'm a pink starburst kinda gal. I cannot rave about this place enough. It's the bees knees! read more

I stumbled upon this walking off a lunch in downtown Hutto and let me tell you, it rivals any of the big cookie subscription shipping services online. Not only do they offer delectable cookies at a reasonable rate, with a tempting deal of buy 6, get 2 free, but their customer service is also exceptional. As I gazed at the array of cookie flavors, each one looked more enticing than the last. I opted for an assortment of 8, and so far, I've only managed to savor 4 - each one soft, flavorful, and exactly as described on the menu. It's evident that this place takes pride in its craft, and I'm already planning my return visit to indulge in more of their irresistible treats. It's tucked away a little but the outside is quaint and surrounded by trees and flowers. In fact when we walked into the entrance there was some great classic rock playing and as we tapped our toes to the music trying not to sing along out loud, the employee was playing gardener and watering the flowers outside. Cute little cookie shop in downtown Hutto. The cookies are massive and there's a good variety for everyone. We got the Oreo cookie and the s'mores. The s'mores was by far my favorite, the Oreo cookie wasn't the most visually appealing but my daughter did not seem to care lol. They had a fridge filled with other goodies too- take n' bake cookie dough, cookie dough balls dipped in chocolate, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and a small variety of beverages. Price point is around $3.50 I think? Comparable in style to Crumbl but I do wish the cookies were warm or at least the option of it. Regardless, will definitely be back and you should check it out too! I'm so happy we're getting more businesses in Hutto! read more
