So good, you have to try the maple bacon doughnut. They are jalapeño cheese kolaches are also excellent.

Mmm, delicious donuts and kolaches! So great that it's near my home! Haven't tried the boba yet, but the donuts and kolaches are on point.

I tried this Hutto location for the first time after regularly visiting the Cedar Park spot, and I…read morewas pleasantly surprised! This location is noticeably cleaner with more spacious seating, plus they have a great selection of board games available. Both locations share the same welcoming vibe, which I appreciate. We ordered the taro coconut and lychee coconut twist. The taro coconut was delicious, though I wish there had been more passion fruit in the lychee one - the flavor was still good overall. The service was super fast and friendly, just like at Cedar Park.

The employee seemed a little stuck, so I redirected the question to the owner who suggested two drinks -- they were fine, but nothing that really stood out. Out of curiosity, I asked about their brewing processes, boba flavoring and what makes them unique. The response included some less-than-kind comparisons to others in town, which felt a bit awkward. Since then, I've noticed similar remarks in reviews/social media posts and throughout the community stemming from the business. Recently, my friends and I decided to do a blind taste test between this shop and two others in town for fun. It was really interesting to see how different their drinks turned out to be. Despite No1 Boba's earlier critiques about their competitors being "too sweet" and "unpalatable," this shop's drinks were ironically by far the sweetest of the bunch -- even for someone like me who usually enjoys sweeter drinks. In short: the drinks and boba are fine, but not exceptional, especially considering the strong critiques of others. To publicly insult a competing business is pretty inappropriate, but at the very least - back it up. Every shop in town has its own style and something to offer to a different crowd -- each of them can be successful for that reason without having to tear each other down. I hope that when the other two shops open up soon, they don't receive the same disparagement..

Other Yelpers have had better luck with this place…read more What I had was unabashedly awful. A grim sausage kolache. The casing was warm and wonderful and delightful. The sausage and cheese inside were cheap and tasted cheap. The sausage was significantly worse than what you could get at an HEB. I was not happy. The coffee i got was undrinkable. After two sips, I left the rest of my cup on the table. My chocoolate frosted raised donut tasted great. The donut made me happy while I was eating it. When I got in the car - I was suddenly not so happy. I got a huge bad chemical taste. The chemical taste is something you typically get when something is made with bottom of the line artificial flavoring. The sugar in the donut and the bulk of the dough covered up the chemical taste upon eating ... But it could not cover up the chemical taste once the dough was out of the way and the flavorings were still in my mouth and throat. An altogether unpleasant experience I do not want to repeat. * * * I have now had two bad donut experiences in a row. Voodoo Donuts - where the donut itself tasted marvelous but the calorie count was over the top ridiculous. Country Donuts where the calorie count was completely reasonable but the donut itself tasted wretched. The stock of Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme are going way up in my book.
