I have used Mobile Auto Service several times in the last year. My daughter's car, husband's truck, a 4-wheeler that hadn't worked in 12 years plus a generator! I have worked with the dealers before and always walk away with charges I am not sure I needed. John's team has always been on time, courteous, and neat. The back office ladies are very kind and quick to set up appointments for our services. Our generator was working perfectly after the repair.....my husband even tested it with the technician! When hubby went to try it again later it wasn't working again. We just called Mobile Auto back and they rescheduled and fixed it! Easy peasy! I use the mobile service because my time is worth money. From my experience, im not sure how this company still exists when wrong parts were put on my vehicle, by a "certified" mechanic. Had to take to a local shop to get alignment and then said all the upper arm and knuckle bolts were loose and wrong size knuckle was put on. There was no way this was done by a professional mechanic the shop said. It was very unsafe to drive and when I called and talked to Alan about the situation. He said he didn't believe me and hung up. He told me i have no idea what im talking about. The job now has to be redone by a real mechanic. read more

Dishonest business and charges you just for calling them. Then they don't even show up to the appointment. They tried to reschedule after cancelling on us but by then we decided to cancel them so they charged us over $100. The people are unprofessional and doesn't give the respect that you give them. I was being understanding by letting them reschedule with me but when I did the same they decided to charge me for it even though I let them know a day before. read more

I bought a Groupon for an oil change. It cost a little more than the chain places, but it's a small business. I want to support small business. Called to make an appointment for the oil change I had paid $49 for and was told I had to pay $35 for them to actually change my oil. They felt I was being completely unreasonable when I pointed out that it basically doubled the price. Groupon had, in the small print, that there's a fee outside of the 21145 zip code. Aside from those infomercials with shipping and handling, I've never heard of a fee doubling the cost of a service. Beware of what you're buying in to. These people couldn't have cared less that I was upset. read more

This is a beware warning!!! This company performed unnecessary work on our vehicle and we remained with a disabled vehicle after paying a significant amount of money. They definitely did not back their work or work with us in any way to correct their mistake. They simply kept our money and now we have to fight for it. BEWARE!!! read more

A couple warning lights came on in my car. They were able to diagnose 1 light but the other was unclear. It took a number of days to try to get it working but they only charged me the initial fee and actual time worked, despite they had to leave and return a few times. One of the things they were concerned about was that I had a "50,000 tune up" in the past 2 weeks. However they could see that there were no new spark plugs. They changed them and it helped but ultimately, my car needed to go to the dealer. The dealer service person indicated that before they could diagnosis anything, they'd need to change my 6 spark plugs. Obviously this confused me since I knew they were recently changed. I called Mobile Auto to clarify this and Mike jumped in right away to help me. First, he explained that my car doesn't take 6 spark plugs, only 4. He offered to get on a conference call with the dealership. As it all turned out, I needed a new engine and due to Mike's guidance I was able to negotiate with the dealer to not charge for any new spark plugs and my warranty covered the engine. I truly appreciate that Mike and his team were so willing to help me out. (I'm sure you can tell I'm a "girl" and don't know much about cars due to the spark plug confusion.) I now trust Mike to help me out and be fair with any car trouble. read more

Excellent customer service! Timely and thorough.

The office told me 100.00 an hr, got charges 105 and hr. Tech showed up to diagnose my rv at 7:45 am, left at 8:20, came back 50 minutes later, worked til 11 am and charged me for 3 hrs. Boss said he had to go get gas for that 50 minutes he was gone in case my gas gauge was broken (It was reading 3/4 full). After that, he wanted $1000.00 to fix what he thinks might be that the fuel pump is broken. I had the rv towed to a shop and they diagnosed the issue in 15 minutes and fixed it for $250.00 read more

I got an oil change and everything went smooth. The mechanic came to my meeting location on time. The oil change was finished by the end of my meeting. I paid for the services when I made the appointment so I did not have to worry about exchanging additional money on site. I will definitely use Mobile Auto Service again. read more

Used Mobile Auto Service for the first time in April 2017. This company is awesome, they come to you no matter where your at. Whether that be work, home or a meeting. It makes it super convenient to get what you need done to your vehicle and still go about your day without stopping to drop your car off at a shop for servicing. Was having problems with the transmission in our family mini van. I'm a stay at home mom,with three kids so going,dropping off my car, getting a rental was the last thing I felt like doing in the middle of winter. It was not only convenient but if you add up and pay yourself for the hassle of running around I came out on top. They are always more reasonable than dealerships or other shops particularly since I don't have to lose a vehicle while it is being worked on. I have used Mobile Auto Service multiple times. This time I had an appointment for 7 am and the tech arrived at 6:50am. He diagnosed the car and had to go get a part. The office kept me updated through out the day with the progress and when he would return. Once complete, I paid over the phone. The service was prompt and I did not have to sit at a repair shop all day. I was able to go about my day as normal. They charge a $35 fee to come but my time is worth so much more then that fee. I have used Mobile Auto Service multiple times over the years. I have had new tires provided by and installed by them. I have had head gasket job done, thermostat on another car, and just recently, a diagnostic on my baby. I think I even had an oil change done once. Every time was excellent. From the call to set up an appointment, to the communication during the service, to the post service. The trip charge is new to me, but I get it. There is inherently a huge cost to travel and that is just part of the business world. Shops build that into their costs, you better believe it. These folks are hard working and dedicated. Travis, my most recent technician to come look at my broken baby was on time, courteous, efficient, and communicative. I like to be home when the tech comes, that is just me, since I like to talk about what is going on and understand it.
