Great Guy, he is going to show me how to take care of my RV water system before I need to start servicing myself. He explained to me that my travel trailer was a "Pandemic Build". 2022 Forest River. That would explain everything that went wrong with it. He is going to show my wife the electric, we are going off-grid. His instruction is expensive, but that's the price for proper hands on training. We fix most things ourselves, and David was happy to troubleshoot with us and had all of the necessary tools and supplies on hand to get our furnace going, just in time for a cold snap! I needed to replace the water purifier on my 2022 Dutch Star motorhome which is usually a simple process. I used a special wrench made solely for removing the canister that holds the water purifier but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the canister loose. The canister is supposed to be hand tightened only but the company that winterized the motorhome obviously didn't know that. I had to stop trying for fear of breaking the rather thin piece of sheet metal that holds the cartridge and filter. I called David Strong and he came out two days later to see what he could do and although it wasn't easy David was able to get the job done in about 45 minutes. David is very personable and he did a great job. His price was very reasonable and probably less than what a dealership would have charged me and saved me a one hour drive to the closest one. David will be my go to technician when I need something done that I can't do. I highly recommend David and his company. read more

Your attitude was so upbeat and positive from the minute we spoke. Not only did David come to where the RV was parked (thank you Elks lodge for hosting) but he came early before our appointed hour. He listened attentively to the issue and immediately jumped under the RV to check out the stabilizers, one of which was stuck in the down position. Within minutes he emerged with the broken bolt. He had multiple solutions and was able to do a temporary fix that would keep the RV and owners safe for the rest of the journey. David even anticipated a potential issue with the second stabilizer and make sure it would not fail in the next phase of the journey. I had a faulty solenoid leaking propane in my 1998 Roadtrek Popular 190 which had been diagnosed while traveling in the summer. When I looked to having it fixed after I got back home in Northern Virginia, Strong Mobile Services came through. David responded quickly to communications and was flexible with his schedule, coming to where my RV was to conduct the initial consultation on a weeknight. After helping me to research the correct replacement part, he performed the replacement and verified the end of propane leaking at a convenient location in Springfield while tipping me to other potential problems unrelated to the propane system and recommended solutions which I could do myself or have him do. He is not only certified to repair RVs, he is an RVer himself and loves to look at and talk about them.
