The icing had a bold mocha flavor that paired perfectly with the chocolate cake--we'll definitely be getting it again next time. One thing I wish I had known beforehand was the pricing: regular cupcakes are $5.25, while the "Happy Birthday" cupcakes are $6.25. Personally, I don't think the upcharge is worth it, and I wouldn't get that version again. Customer service was great--the staff member who helped us was friendly and welcoming. While we were there, they also had samples of their marble cake, which I tried and really enjoyed. It's moist, flavorful, and delicious, though it's only available as a whole cake or by the slice, not as a cupcake. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend SusieCakes to anyone who loves moist, flavorful cupcakes.
