I ordered my son's wedding cake last minute from Shadi's, and she was so kind and accommodating! I chose a chocolate cake with vanilla whipped cream, bananas, strawberries, and walnuts, and sent her a photo of how I wanted it to look and oh my goodness, it turned out heavenly! Everyone loved it and kept asking where it was from. From me and my family, thank you, Shadi, for making my son's wedding extra special!

My daughter wanted a custom cake to celebrate her Confirmation, I found Shadi's cake on yelp. I placed my order online, she contacted me via text, I ordered a confirmation cake that she previously made to another customer, we follow in love with the design. I order chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, the cake was so delicious love how moist was. But honestly my favorite part was the buttercream the perfect sweetness, so good. My order was placed for 30 people, I cut 18 slice with almost nothing left. I guess I don't know how to cut a cake. The decoration was beyond beautiful, all of guests loved the cake, I only provided the figurine for the top. If I have another event in the near future I will definitely get another cake from here, so worth it. So delicious, Thank you Shadi for such a beautiful and delicious cake.

Highly recommend a cake from here if you're in the South OC area! The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted really good - we got chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Shaddi was very communicative and responded to my inquiry and requests promptly. She arrived within 15 minutes of the estimated arrival time on the delivery day and called several times to ensure someone was present to deliver the cake. I missed the calls, but she rang the doorbell and I was able to answer the door and receive the cake. Cake was so special and so beautiful for a mermaid themed 1st birthday. She made it exactly as pictured and was so kind and generous throughout the whole process. I can't say enough good things about the amazing eggless cake this talented lady made for my son's birthday! I had been searching everywhere for an eggless cake that wasn't just safe for my son, but also beautifully decorated and delicious--and it felt almost impossible to find. But she absolutely delivered! The decoration was beyond adorable and so well done--we got so many compliments on it. And the taste? So good! It was moist, flavorful, and perfect for both kids and adults. She was truly a lifesaver. If it weren't for her, my son's birthday wouldn't have been nearly as special. Perfection! So glad we found Shadi on Yelp. The semi naked cake came out beautifully and tasted amazing, moist and not too sweet. Shadi was very attentive to details and made sure she understood what we wanted. She asked for pictures of examples. The cake was a semi naked vanilla cake with whipped cream between the layers and buttercream frosting. We requested a gold rim around the top of the cake, as well as, flowers on the top left and bottom right. You are able to add fillings but we opted for only whipped cream. The cake was an 8 inch cake on a 12 inch board. It came in a very sturdy box with a cellophane window on the lid. We were able to store it in our refrigerator until the dinner party. We had a party of 14 and had over a 1/4 of the cake left with generous pie style slices. The cake can serve up to 25-30. read more

I came across Shadi's yelp page when I was searching for a bakery to make my wedding cake. I noticed that the options were limited in the area but came across Shadi's page which showcased really nice looking cakes therefore I explored more. I spoke to Shadi briefly, and then followed her ordering process. We had a very intimate wedding of 50 people in total therefore cake tasting was not an option. This meant I'd have to take a risk. I decided to take a chance on a Shadi cake. Let me tell you, I'm so happy I took that chance. The cake was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I ordered a double tiered chocolate cake, with vanilla whip cream and fresh raspberry center and a vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake was moist, fresh, and absolutely delicious not too rich or dense! The whipped cream and fresh fruit was very light with the perfect amount of sweetness. The outdoor patio is spacious, making it a great spot to meet up with friends, bring your laptop to get a little work or studying done, or simply enjoy a coffee. The outside is crispy from the fried butter during the baking process but the interior is light and fluffy - Kobo kuma: super light and fluffy shokupan bread (was honestly shocked when I picked it up how light it was), interior is a not too sweet cream - Honey butter croissant: kind of small to be honest but I think because it's so sweet/indulgent it's the perfect small bite. Reminiscent of a kouign amann - Curry pan: usually not a fan of how the curry runs on the sweeter side for most curry pan but this one was predominantly savory with a rich curry flavor. The bun was nice and crispy but didn't feel overly oily/heavy. The curry was also steaming hot/fresh I'd come back again if the lines stay reasonable like todays visit to try some of the other baked goods :)
