Plumeria did an incredible job for my husband's and my wedding reception cake! We had a small event (about 30 people) and cared more about having a simple cake that tasted good, and we are so glad that we lucked out and found this bakery because they fit the bill perfectly! We tried almost every flavor via "tasting cups" that they offered us for a very good price and settled on a two-tiered naked, succulent-themed cake. Since we were doing a mimosa brunch, we went with snickerdoodle for the top tier (which tasted like a delicious, moist churro) and what seems to be their signature orange champagne for the main layer. I am not usually someone who likes fruit flavors with my sweets, but that orange champagne was to die for! Everyone who attended and tried the cake said that it was incredible, and a few people even mentioned to me that it was the best cake they'd ever had! The really special thing was the succulents that the owner made for us, which were constructed out of sugar and then painted to look like real succulents. While I can't imagine having an occasion for another fancy cake like this, the bakery also sells cupcakes, and I'll definitely be dropping by for those just for regular sweet tooth indulgences! read more

I am so please with how my wedding cake turned out. Jennifer is super friendly, very professional and accommodating. Not only was the cake delicious, the finial result was incredible! With the pandemic sadly an in person cake tasting could not happen, but I was able to pick my cake flavors and drive down to pick up a togo cake tasting box from Jennifer. All the cake flavors we tried were amazing; but just a suggestion consider champagne orange, you won't regret it. Both my husband and I loved it, it was an easy decision. After we choose our cake flavor, Jennifer and I went over design and final choices over email. I really had my heart set on incorporating kumquats in the design somehow; but because of the time of year, I knew it may be difficult to accomplish since they were not in season in October. But Jennifer reassured me that she would come up with an alternate solution; whether it was out of icing or another fruit option. And wow Jennifer delivered. Even though kumquats were not available, Jennifer came up with the ingenious idea to use golden gooseberries; which were unique and looked similar to kumquats.
