I needed a cake for a friend's birthday and I lagged a bit so didn't have 48 hours to order a cake…read morefrom a baker. I also didn't need anything specific in terms of design. I was happy to see that Simply Cakes had pre-designed cakes with only a 24 hour notice. We got the celebration cake with a white cake and chocolate buttercream. Ordering and pickup was easy, although the box it comes it is very tall and I could not fit it in my fridge, even though the cake itself would've fit. The instructions are also kind of lengthy The cake was a hit! Everyone raved about it, adults and kids alike. I've honestly never had so many people comment on how good the cake was. It's a soft cake with just classic flavors. Simple and delicious. I personally prefer lighter Asian cakes but for regular people, I think Simply Cake's creation is the best bet.

She was communicative and kept me up to date and sent me photos. She delivered the order with care, and gave me advice on how to keep it fresh until it's ready to be served. With a guest of over 50 people (kids and adults), the cake and cupcake was a hit with everyone. My friends were complimenting on the blueberry cake and asked me who I had made it. A lot of my friends and family loved how detailed the cake was (with the Bumble Num theme) and also asked who made it. Overall, great experience.

Our wedding cake done on 05/21/2017 was amazing! Everything about the cake was great. However, when we purchased our cake we were told for our 1 year anniversary if we called ahead of time they would make us our 1 year cake so we didn't have to save the top of our original cake to eat on our anniversary. Here I am 1 year out, I started calling last month and emailed her and never heard back. Today's my anniversary and now Im unable to celebrate the tradition because Jennifer never called me back. Had I known I was going to be ignored I would have kept the top of my wedding cake. I know it's just a 1 year cake but don't make promises you cannot keep. It's very disappointing and unprofessional. I would have recommended her to anyone but now, it seems like a waste. If you're just looking for the money that's fine but don't make a promise you do not intend to keep. As for the flavors, they were amazing! We had a few different varieties, and each one was a crowd-pleaser. Every bite was packed with flavor, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was! The whole process was super easy and stress-free. I can't say enough about the incredible wedding cake we had from Pulmeria Cake Studio. From the moment we started working with them, they were so professional, creative, and attentive to our needs. We chose strawberrry and chocolate/raspberry and were blown away by how delicious it was. The cake not only looked beautiful, but it tasted absolutely amazing! I had the chance to try one of Plumeria Cakes at a friend's birthday. It was the BEST CAKE I have ever eaten. The decorations were so cute that I didn't expect it to taste great, but was I wrong. I know my name is difficult but I guess the decorator wasn't there so it was a difficult fix. They apologized and gave us candles. On a side note and not affecting this rating: We ate at the cafe side once and it was good. But we sat outside and had a bad experience unrelated to the cafe. Someone with their huge hairy dog was just outside the cafe and rubbing their long hair dog getting it into the air and the wind was blowing it all over our food and drinks and also in the nearby tables. Definitely killed the appetite. This is not affecting the rating. Rating is based solely on the cakes.

We had a random idea of doing a matcha tiramisu (because I'm Japanese and my husband is part Italian) and she made it happen. We ended up doing a 2-tiered cake with matcha tiramisu on top, and passionfruit on the bottom. We also consulted with Pibeny since one of our guests was allergic to gluten, dairy, and coconuts. And she came up with doing french macarons in special flavors that avoided the ingredients one of our guests was allergic to.
