The selection is amazing, pastries, donuts, croissants, and more, all beautifully made and clearly fresh. We grabbed a whole box and everything was a hit. My absolute favorite was the s'mores Belgian waffle. The marshmallow and chocolate drizzle on top is so good, and it had that perfect balance of sweet without being overwhelming. The chocolate croissant with chocolate crème in the middle and the powdered sugar-filled donuts were also delicious. I can't stop thinking about them! If you're nearby, it's well worth a stop. I am writing to report a very disappointing experience my family and I recently had at the 25612 Crown Valley Parkway Ladera Ranch, CA location. The evening before my brother's fiancée's birthday, my parents and I visited the store to order a cake for the celebration. We were assisted by an employee named Aiden. From the beginning, he showed little to no customer service--there was no greeting, friendliness, or engagement during the interaction. Despite this, we continued with the order and specifically requested a fresh cake to be picked up the following day at 3:00 PM. The next day, when my mother and brother went to pick up the cake, my mother noticed that the display cake that had been in the case the previous evening was no longer there. She asked Aiden if the cake he gave them was the display cake. Instead of responding, he simply stared at her and did not answer the question. My brother also noticed the lack of basic customer service and found the interaction very strange and unprofessional. Later that day, we brought the cake home and served it during the celebration. As soon as we cut into it, everyone noticed the cake was very different and tasted horrible. It tasted stale and dry. The strawberries were very mushy and smelled spoiled. None of us finished our cake slices and still have a large portion remaining. The following day, I called the store to explain the situation. A female employee answered the phone and told me she was busy with customers but would call me back shortly to sort out the issue. About 30 minutes later, I received a call back, and it was Aiden again. I explained everything that happened, but once again he showed no concern, empathy, or professionalism. When I asked about my mother's question regarding whether the cake was the display cake, he claimed he "didn't hear" her question. He did not apologize for the experience and simply offered a free slice of cake as compensation. My family and I have purchased cakes from this location several times before and have always enjoyed both the quality of the cakes and the customer service. In fact, my family has owned restaurants and businesses ourselves, so we understand very well how important customer service and quality are in the hospitality industry. This is not the way customers should be treated, which is why this experience was so disappointing to us. This is the first time we have ever had to complain. We were very surprised that a cake we specifically requested to be fresh tasted bad and have been displayed for days. Aiden also mentioned that cakes and pastries can remain out for up to two days, which was concerning given the quality we experienced. We truly loved this location and had always enjoyed coming here in the past. Unfortunately, what could have been a small issue turned into a very negative experience due to the lack of professionalism, communication, and customer care from the manager on duty. Because of this experience, my family and I will no longer be returning to this location in the future. I hope this issue can be addressed so other customers do not experience the same situation. read more

When I lived in Irvine, I was spoiled by the prevalence of Asian bakeries. Moving to South County has definitely limited my options, but so glad that a Paris Baguette has opened a location in Ladera Ranch. The inside is so bright, airy and clean with plenty of seating options. I love that it's near Stater Bros, so I can easily grab groceries and pick up a treat for myself because some days, you just need something sweet. The pastries are clearly labeled with a short description. It's nice that they include a list of ingredients, which I find helpful for those who may have allergens that is often overlooked or just as a nice to know. Every time I pick up a tray, I feel compelled to fill it, but I try to limit to 2-3 items. Occasionally, we'll splurge with a half dozen haha. Some of our favorites have been palmier, milk bread, fruit tart and egg tarts. For savory items, I love the pastry frank and curry croquette. It seems like they started expanding more of their menu with seasonal items such as such as pizettas and fall vibes with biscoff and pumpkin flavored things. In a recent trip, I was interested in trying the cherry danish, but I apparently picked up the blueberry instead. This went downhill really fast. Evan who works here came in with his girlfriend on his day off and openly touched a couple of and then grabbed a chocolate croissant off a tray with no gloves on. He did not use a napkin or tongs. They were being transferred to the display. We were 4 feet away. He just smiled and walked away. Moron! Emiliano who is normally on the ball rang up our wraps incorrectly. We were doing the 3 BBQ chicken wrap/salad/sandwich challenge. He rang them up as Caesar salad wraps. Contacted CS as we did not get the 50 points and they had the most bs, casual and we are getting so big we don't have to take care of you or listen to you stance. The slices of cake are now cut smaller vs 3 weeks ago. The free birthday slice of ganache cake was inedible. I barely took a bite and spit it out. I loved this place. Dropped by for a snack and ended up with a Lemonade Refresher instead. Haven't been to this location before and first thing coming to mind was how quiet it seemed. Maybe this was just due to unpopular hours since it's currently 8pm. The pastry options were thinning out too, probably a good sign if people have been buying across the day. Lot of space inside to seat plenty of customer. The cakes available seem nice, but I'm finding it odd their signature cake "Strawberry Soft Cream" is nowhere to be seen. Although it isn't the sweetest of cake options, it strikes a calculated balance between light and sweetness. Hopefully they were simply sold out today instead of not offered for "local customer demographic references". Guess I'll wait and see what catches my eye next time. read more

I love this shop! It's great if you want a quick pastry or fun dessert, or a chill place to catch up over a cup of coffee/tea. Anything custard filled and filled with fruit is divine. I have tried a bunch of their bakery items and haven't been disappointed yet. A little pricey for what it is when comparing to places like 85 degrees, but the quality seems slightly elevated in comparison. Their cakes are really pretty too. Sent my daughter to grab some pastries and order drinks but was a bit disappointed that there was not much to choose from as there was limited items. There used to be egg tarts in a box, as well as the mochis but none available or was all sold out? She ended up getting one (1) cheese tart for the price of $4.19. Really? I know costs have gone up but sorry to say this will be a 'special treat' going forward. For 6 pastries plus 3-16 oz drinks totaling altogether $50+ this is quite expensive. The Paris Baguette in Ladera Ranch is a fantastic bakery with delicious options and fast service at an affordable price. When I entered the bakery I was overwhelmed with how many options were on display and how convenient it was to pick and choose what I wanted to bring home. We had the croissant, chicken salad sandwich and the egg salad sandwich as well as a pistachio latte and baguette. The ambiance is that of a large bustling bakery with an endless options. The manager mentioned that he only had a limited number of baguettes left and indicated that he would hold one for me as I continued to peruse the other options. I ordered a cake for pick up for my daughter's birthday. When we were about to cut the cake I took it out of the box and to my surprise the cake was melted. I was so disappointed and called the bakery right away to ask what could have happened. I was told the cake should go in the refrigerator. I've purchased other cakes from here before did not go in the fridge and this has never happened. The cashier never mentioned anything about putting the cake in the fridge or else I would have cancelled my order as my commute home is 1 hour. Also, I did not see this stated on their website or else again I would have purchased something else. The manager was supposed to call me the following day and I never got a call back. read more

The whole area's laid out like a Cold War experiment in capitalist overdesign--four-lane intersections spitting you into a labyrinth of chain stores, mattress emporiums, and frozen yogurt joints named things like "Swirlicious" and "YoBro." It's all stucco and suffering under an eternal sun, and I swear to God the traffic lights blink in Morse code just to mock me. Oh buddy... strap in, lace up, pour a cold brew down your shirt and chant a prayer to the gods of suburban pastry because Ladera Ranch has done it again--built another apocalyptic dreamscape of consumerism so sprawling, so oppressively tidy, you begin questioning if you're still on Earth or trapped inside a Pinterest board curated by Satan in a Lululemon hoodie. I'm zigzagging through the beige stucco maze, passing twelve fro-yo shops, three eyebrow-threading emporiums, and at least one Mattress Firm too many, when BAM--I see it: Paris Baguette. That glorious beacon. That starch-scented sanctuary. That slightly-too-well-lit pastry portal to sugar-soaked salvation. Now at the glam PBs, you float in like Marie Antoinette reincarnated as a Trader Joe's influencer, delicately tonging your mille-feuille as if you were deciding which heir to spare in a royal blood purge. But this location? No ma'am. No sir. No gentle nonbinary soul. This one was PACKED. I mean shoulder-to-shoulder, cheeks-to-croissant-level PACKED. Tighter than my thighs in faux-leather pants on a humid day. The kind of tight that makes your brain start leaking out your ear while you mumble "why is this line moving like molasses in a snowstorm?" The vibe was less "ooh la la" and more "OH NO NO." Imagine being inside a DMV that got converted into a bakery by someone who once saw a Paul Hollywood GIF and said, "That'll do." Or maybe it was a DMV. Or a Sizzler. Or--gags theatrically--a Starbucks still haunted by the ghosts of 10,000 pumpkin spice lattes and seasonal regret. Now, I gotta give it to the staff--cool as cucumbers in a cucumber gazpacho. One barista had the serene energy of a monk who's seen too much and now just nods politely while the world burns in almond milk. The espresso machine wheezed like a jazz saxophone on its third divorce. Beautiful. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich which they heated up for me with a reverence usually reserved for royal coronations or a John Mayer acoustic solo. It was good. Not epiphany good. Not "text your ex" good. But a respectable 3.5 stars, like a Hallmark movie with a surprisingly good ending. I also snagged this tiny lil pastry, looked like a Portuguese egg tart dressed for a bougie masquerade ball. Tiramisu filling. Puffy. Custardy. Sexy, frankly. I nearly proposed to it. If pastries could get restraining orders, I'd be in legal trouble. Now--the space. Sweet, gentle Christ on a crème brûlée raft, the layout was like doing yoga inside a filing cabinet. If you're even slightly claustrophobic, your fight-or-flight reflex will kick in somewhere between the danish case and the cold brew fridge. But let's be real: if the craving hits--the Paris Baguette itch--you'll go. You'll brave it. You'll dance that crumb-dusted tango of desire and regret. Because in the end, you came for flaky baked euphoria. And dammit, you got it. Sorta. Ladera Ranch, baby. I honestly forgot about this location that it even existed so I took a little trip over to have a sweet treats and a beverage. Arriving just after 10 AM, the location was actually empty. There's parking directly right out front. The pastry cases looked fresh and many other items were full or had plenty of options to choose from. The refrigerated case was well stocked as well. I chose my three items which were the hash brown bread, maple, pecan pastry, and the strawberry lemon croissant. I made my way over to the register and was warmly greeted by the staff. I opted to have the iced Korean milk coffee. I was able to find a clean table and sit down and enjoy my meal. Everything tasted outstanding. The cashier even offered to warm up my hash brown bread. The items tasted fresh. Quite honestly, my favorite was the maple pecan I would definitely go back and get another one. Prices are average to mid pricey. The maple pecan pastry was probably 3 inches long and I think it was over five dollars. So if you end up getting quite a few, it could be a costly meal lol but everything tasted fresh and I enjoyed the experience. There's also patio seating. read more

I almost fell out of my chair when I found out we were getting a Paris Baguette in our neighborhood (in the middle of my pregnancy too- yahoo!). Paris Baguette is a little bakery where you choose your items and bring them to the counter to pay. Love their selection- the chocolate croissant is so good and we love their almond croissant and specialty buns that are cream filled. Drinks are great too- we like the hot lattes. Only complaint is that the prices are pretty high for this style of store. It's similar to an 85 Degrees bakery, but a chocolate croissant is closer to $5 instead of $2-3. read more

Paris Baguette is a cute "french inspired" indoor coffee and pastry shop offering assorted pastries, pre-packaged sandwiches and salads. The coffee is good, the pastries are run of the mill. Service is hit or miss, depending on staffing. If you've never been to a real French bakery, you'd probably like Paris Baguette. When I asked an employee if the items were made in-house, she said they are not made inhouse, but at a warehouse several miles away. The 'baking' is to complete the process and put the items out in the display cases for purchase. I wasn't aware that Paris Baquette was a chain of dine in pastry/coffee shops scattered around Orange County. I prefer my go to the actual French bakery near my home. I walked in here looking for a nice sweet treat and an employee named Kendra was not afraid to step up and help me and suggest good things that would suit me, she also made me a great strawberry matcha! Ever since Paris Baguette opened in Ladera Ranch, my husband and I have frequent this lovely bakery cafe at least 3x a week. The staff has always been very helpful and greets you as you walk in. We're here so often they would have our drinks ready when we get to the register to pay for our pastries. On the weekends, we would enjoy our coffee and breakfast sandwiches before church. The ambience is relaxing and have nice music playing. I enjoy their rewards app and known to always save my points and my husband is known for a large Americano, hot with room for cream. Any of the staff reads this they'll know who wrote this review. I still haven't tried everything they offer and it's always fun to try their seasonal drinks and pastries. Their cakes are pretty and are delicious. My friends love it whenever I buy them something from Paris Baguette. Butter Cookies in their tin was a hit during the holidays and my friends love the French Baguette, as well. This store has us for life. read more

Gross... the three chances I've given this spot it's been more of the same. Every time, I see kids roaming and grabbing inside the self-serve bins of pastries, begging a parent if they could have whatever they grabbed, being told to put it back and watching the.barehanded kid return the pastry then lick their hand and repeat they same action with another bin. They need an employee stationed with the food to deal with this sanitary issue. The food is decent but I can't get over thinking it's been touched several times before I put it on my tray. It's not cheap for self-serve kind of like the grocery store bakery. It feels like a cafeteria style / buffet style place which I'm not a fan of at all. Honestly, this place probably doesn't get enough credit so here's the real 411: The best Lavazza coffee, seriously delicious sandwiches that are always super fresh, and of course a variety of legit always fresh pastries, both sweet and savory. If you haven't visited, you're missing out. Also, Farah, Evan, and the crew here are top notch and take great care of me as a regular. Most days my coffee is already at the counter by the time I make it to the register. Nice job guys. read more

I've been here about a dozen times over the past five months and am ready to review. The good: The restaurant decor is fresh, bright, and inviting. The pastries in the cases are absolutely gorgeous! The bread and rolls are rather delicious. The location has ample parking and there really was a need for a bakery in Ladera. The PB online app is easy to use and helps the expansive menu feel less overwhelming. Also, there are decent rewards when you collect points, so the app is worth having. About 30% of the time the staff is competent and friendly. The bad: The pastries don't taste as good as they look. It tastes like they use the same dough for everything, so while they are perfectly beautiful, they are also bland and have a mediocre texture. Even the fruit seems to have been selected for appearance rather than sweetness. When I have pastry at good French bakery, I've noticed that the items are not as uniform as they are at PB, nor are they as picture perfect, but I'm looking for something tasty to eat rather than something pretty to post online. Ordering with the app doesn't help you skip the line as the staff generally helps customers in the regular line before the "pick-up" area. I genuinely feel like online orders annoy the staff unless they are very slow. Plus, my order is inaccurate about half the time when I order online. When they first open in the morning. they are still making the food, so you may not get to order what you came in for. (This was disappointing on my way into work. ) The staff seem to be getting better than they were a few months ago, but honestly they sometimes seem confused and overwhelmed. Perhaps other customers have been rude to them and they are shell shocked, but 70% of the time it's like getting served by a zombie who wishes you hadn't stopped in. The prices are high. Bottom line: Everything I've mentioned other than the bland pastry dough could improve with time and experience. I really enjoy the egg & cheddar breakfast sandwich on the salted bun, so I will be back. I'm optimistic that this location will get better, and I know that restaurants have a hard time surviving in Ladera Ranch, so I want to do my part to keep this one open. read more

Glad to have a quick cafe option in the area but not my top pick. I like some of their stuff but it's gotten pricey over the years since I first had Paris Baguette. The price for the quality is just not a match. Other similar style cafe equal or better in quality with better pricing. I hope they are able to fix that. Their cakes are good but also very pricey. And yes as others have said, employees need some training or get better employees. I like that there's a good amount of seating including patio seating. read more

I ordered light breakfast catering from Paris Baguette Ladera Ranch, and it was very well received! The mini breakfast croissants were flaky, light, and fresh. The pastries were just the right balance of sweet and buttery--perfect for a morning meeting. The coffee was excellent too--smooth, hot, and just what everyone needed to start the day. I was also impressed at how long the coffee in the tote/carrier stayed hot! I picked up the order at 7:15 a.m., and the coffee stayed warm until 11 a.m.--as long as the lid remained on. Best of all, the pricing is on point, not too expensive and service was great. I enjoy accumulating rewards on their app as well, which makes ordering easy. OK. Visited this location today 2/24/26 @ 8:30am i purchased a few croissants and some pastry items. Once I got home I realized that most of the items had an overly crunchy texture to the outside of them. As if they were made yesterday and recirculated today. As always they were very very pricey but that's acceptable if the products were freshly made. I don't believe they were fresh today. After spending more than $50 for these pastry items (no drinks) I am going to look for a different bakery. This PB location is just not hitting the mark. read more

I was so excited to see this little bakery come to our area. Today my wife and I tried it for the first time and were not disappointed. The shop is clean and brand new with plenty of seating. You start by getting a tray, wax paper, and tongs. Then you go about your business by grabbing whatever delights your soul. They had croissants, breads, cookies, doughnuts, tarts, and puffs and it all looked delicious. You then take your tray to the counter, pay and make sure to ask for anything you want to be warmed. Then enjoy! I got a hash brown bread, bacon/cheese/egg croissant and vanilla latte. My wife got a pain au chocalat, strawberry croissant and a caramel latte. Everything was delicious. The breads were fresh and well prepared. The service was fantastic. We were warmly greeted as we came in, and the workers at the counter were very attentive and fast. I tried Paris Baguette for the first time this past Saturday morning. Staff were very nice and friendly. However the danish and pastries were disappointing. The chocolate croissant was basically a plan croissant with some chocolate drizzle and literally one piece of chocolate inside. Two other twists were dry.
