I ordered a cake and paid for it. I asked the worker that I would come back to pick up the cake if they can have someone write HBD Mom on the cake. Well, I came back and they handed me this cake. The writing was awful! I said, how can I give this to my mom when it looks like this and paid $48 for it. I asked for a refund but they were unable to reach the owner. I told them I will not take this cake, to please have the manager or owner call me the next day so that I can get a refund. Its near end of day the next day and still no phone call from their manager/owner. Staff was understanding when I came to pick up cake and very disappointed with it. She tried to offer other stuff but I told her that the only thing I need is someone to fix the cake or give me a refund. That driving to this location is actually not very close to me. Its a 20 mile drive and 30 mile drive to where I need to bring the cake. I rather get my $48 refund. I'm surprised this place has low ratings. When I went Sunday morning, the employee was very helpful. I wanted to buy an ice cream cake and she offered ice cream samples for me to try. It helped me make my decision and I got to try the twix ice cream which I never would have ever chose on my own. The twix ice cream was delicious. I can see why it is so popular. This is a decent ice cream spot if you're in the area. I was running errands on a weekday afternoon and stopped here to energize myself with a treat. This is a nice location with a patio area to sit (there are a couple tables inside too). They have plenty of flavors to choose from and a large freezer full of ice cream cakes. I ordered a two scoop sundae, choosing caramel turtle truffle and chocolate chip as my flavors. They topped it with hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. I sat outside and snarfed it down. The chocolate chip ice cream was fine but the caramel turtle truffle was disappointing as it had only a couple of the truffles and minimal ribbons of caramel; it mostly tasted like a scoop of vanilla. At least the scoops were generous. They were very stingy on the hot fudge but I think they thought they were making up for it with an overabundance of whipped cream and nuts. Stingy Robbins! My husband and I both went for a scoop of ice cream each. $12 total, and the scoops were very, very small indeed. I got a kids scoop and it must have been infant-sized. This has happened to us before with several employees over several different visits, but never as small as today. I can only assume that Stingy Robbins, this particular 31-Flavors franchise owner, must ruthlessly train his employees and beat them bloody if they give too much ice cream. Emily is wonderful! I ordered two custom ice cream cakes from her, with one of them having specific allergen requests (no eggs anywhere within or on the cake). She provided me with information on how they can make it that way and to ensure no eggs would be used (double ice cream with no cake). Wow, I wish I remembered the workers names! The girl and guy who worked on 7/8 at 6:20 pm were incredible! Truly the best customer service! Both workers were so nice and friendly, and patient with my young toddlers who couldn't make up their mind on what flavor they wanted. The girl employee even said "she can sample however many she wants until she finds a flavor she likes" which I thought was beyond sweet. You don't get customer service like that often these days. I have previously given this establishment a five star review. So to be honest, I'm very dissatisfied with either their change in philosophy or change in management/ownership. I have ordered the same exact birthday cake for my wife for at least five years from this establishment. Last year, the cake was $42. Not cheap but it's a good cake and it's sentimental to my wife. There were 3 people working when my family and I came in mid afternoon on a Friday and 2 ladies (1 maybe high school age and another older woman) were too involved in their own conversation to even look up and acknowledge or help us. Who doesn't love ice cream on a hot day. It's a perfect solution to cool yourself down. I've been to lots of Baskin Robbins locations but this was my first time at this particular one. Here is what I thought about it. The scoop: rating 5 stars I got one scoop churro and one scoop snicker doodle flavor. It was amazing. I finished it all and regretted it instantly but it was well worth it. I'll have to spend extra time in the gym for this one but it was well worth it. The churro ice cream had an abundance of cinnamon which I love and gave it that churro feel. The ice cream itself was very creamy which was very nice. The snicker doodle tasted almost like the churro except it had pieces of the snickerdoodle cookies in it. Both were exceptional. You can't really screw up ice cream. I've never had bad ice cream before. Well except for the Artic Zero brand ice cream. Which taste like frozen water with a bad after taste but that's another story. Atmosphere and customer service: rating 5 stars All Baskin Robbins locations look pretty much the same. There is seating inside and out. It was very clean and not to busy of a location. There is not much space in this location. The layout isn't perfect. But the ice cream is. Let me say that there is no need for toppings because practically every flavor has a topping mixed in with it. Which probably explains why the topping look like they haven't been refilled since 2018. Oreo cookies and cream: This is by far my favorite flavor at Baskin Robbins. This is a creamy vanilla ice cream with pieces of Oreo in it. Gold medal ribbon: Vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. Chocolate chip cookie dough: Really good. Plain vanilla ice cream with scattered bits of cookie dough. Icing on the cake: I had this flavor when I was a kid. It is vanilla ice cream with small bits of cookie dough and sprinkles but the most important is the icing. There would be big chunks of icing in you ice cream. This is definitely a kid flavor. read more

The two girls closing tonight are so unfriendly and short with their customers. Based on my experience here tonight I will never come back. They never smiled the entire time I was there. I actually greeted them with just stares in return. A group of young guys came in and after looking at the flavors for a second the gurls rudely asked them if they were going to buy anything and had to leave if they wouldn't. Which i understand if they were just messing around for free samples but it made me feel extremely uncomfortable with how it was handled. It's Saturday night. Three employees present. Two are standing around talking behind the counter while one employee serves customers. The one employee helping people stuck his hand in the toppings for a quick snack between customers. A disgusting example of cross-contamination. Ice cream was good and portions were acceptable. Even though customers have young children, the employee doesn't ask if we want kids scoop. This frustrated me and several other customers who expected to pay 2.99 instead of 3.99. The floor hasn't been swept in hours and one of the refrigerated ice cream serving stations is held together with duct tape leaving a large gap at the top. One person has no hat and is wearing a school sweatshirt instead of the scoops ahoy uniform. This location clearly managed by high school students with little training, a lack of management oversight, and a complete disregard for food preparation standards. The only positive I would give is the friendliness of the staff, although, that was most noticeable when their friends came to visit. read more
