Was around the area and decided to try this cafe. The space itself is cozy, but I do wish they had more seating and comfier chairs since seating options were pretty limited. Their seasonal drinks menu was displayed right off the counter, so I ended up trying a few. The honey latte was unfortunately my least favorite. It was overwhelmingly sweet, to the point where I could barely taste the coffee. It honestly felt like a whole tub of honey was poured into it, and I couldn't even finish it. The surprise favorite was definitely the mango matcha latte. I'm usually not a matcha person, but this one was actually so good. The mango and matcha paired surprisingly well, and the yellow and green colors looked really pretty too. I also tried the mango cream latte, which I expected to be very mango-heavy, but it was actually pretty balanced. We stopped in for some breakfast and coffee, and we loved being able to sit and visit for a little bit. There weren't any other customers at the time we arrived. The employees were welcoming and quick to get our order out. There are beautiful light fixtures and windows inside the business to a couple of offices. The ceiling is beautiful. There is lots of seating. The back of Mas Coffee is a Zavalas BBQ distribution store front. I'm not sure when they are open, but lots of goodies back there. Go support local and get all the things. read more

My daughter and I love to visit down home specialty coffee shops. She enjoyed an oat milk vanilla latte, which was superb. Their sweeteners are homemade. I opted for my regular breve mocha latte. It hit the spot. We ordered all three breakfast tacos. The smoky brisket egg and cheese taco was sensational, with soft, freshly made tortillas and dynamite green salsa. My daughter preferred the bean egg and cheese taco over the potato egg and cheese. The two sisters, Haley and Tori are so welcoming. Came here with a friend, I got a my usual iced mocha and I got a brisket breakfast burrito. I asked where the restroom was and the lady acted funny, was just trying to wash my hands from work. The coffee took longer than I expected and it was good not great. The breakfast burrito was absolutely amazing, I know they're affiliated with a BBQ place and that explains why it was so amazing. It's a small sitting area inside and does look nice. I'd go back just for the burrito honestly. read more

Staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast tacos are hardy and will fill you up, and their salsa is a must. Coffee here is AMAZING! All syrups are made in house. It's honestly my baseline of comparison for any other coffee shop in the DFW. Definitely worth a try. My fav latte to get is: Half sweet iced honey latte with oat milk. Great hospitality, and I would tell anyone to come and enjoy the great scene of downtown and have a cup of coffee.

The place aesthetics is nice, quaint and homey. I was greeted promptly and nicely. I ordered a cappuccino I was trying to get a drink before an appointment nearby I had 15 mins and I thought I could make it. I was the only one in the line but somehow I was the third person to receive my drink after the two customers that came after me receive their drink. That didn't bother me, maybe there drink was easier/ faster to make. But my barista stop making my drink to make theirs and than to top it off I think the owner was there and so she stop my order again to do her drink order. At this point I regretted because 15 mins had past and now I was going to be late for my appointment. Everything would have been forgiven and forgotten if the drink was good. But it wasn't it was 5.50 for a cappuccino after tax that was "tall" size and it was pretty bitter. I took 2 sips and just took the loss. However, I could smell the food and it smell really good. Next time I'll skip the coffee and try the food goodies if I come back. read more

Such a great little coffee shop. We were in Grand Prairie for a few days, visiting from the DC area, and went there on the last day. I wish we had gone sooner, I would have been there every morning. One of our group said the pumpkin spice latte was the best she had ever had, ruined her for Starbucks. My honey oat milk latte was very good too and the breakfast tacos were tasty. Every Saturday we choose a new coffee place to try. Open hours shown on web showed open however coffee is only open during week days. Their BBQ half was open and smelled good. But no breakfast tacos served. Recommend update hours for coffee. read more
