I came here on a Sunday around 7 PM. We got seated pretty quickly, and the service was excellent. We ordered the nachos, the taco flight, and the cheese quesadilla, which came with a side of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Of everything we ordered, the nachos were my favorite! I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. The only issue I had was that there were no complimentary chips and salsa.

The food at this place is actually pretty good, highlighted by the quesadillas which are large and flavorful. The drinks are a bit inconsistent and the staff seems a bit tired at times. Overall, it's a nice place but some improvement would make this place outstanding.

This is a really dark restaurant. The quesadilla was a decent size and the rice and beans side was far larger than it appeared at first. Waiter was amazing and the space buzzed with activity in the dimly lit dining room.

The specialty cocktails were great! The bartender was extremely knowledgeable on the different cocktails on the menu, and the presentation made the ordering an enjoyable experience. The food was good as well, but there was one issue that ruined the experience for me - there were gnats... One gnat wouldn't have been an issue, but there were multiple gnats flying around the bar area where we were dining and specifically around the bottles and cocktail syrups that were kept out. While this isn't a deal breaker for me to recommend Masa & Agave since the actual food and drinks were good, I can't give it a 4 or 5 star rating because of cleanness.

Cute interior. It is attached to the Westin hotel downtown. The service was very quick and server was nice. Good was pretty decent! The chips were warm & salty, green salsa was very spicy, guacamole was good, and we really enjoyed the drinks we had as well.

This place was Crazy busy, and I am so Glad we made reservations. It was an absolute madhouse of people and even at 5pm early reservations. We had to flag down people to wait on us after 27 minutes. Everyone around us wondering why no servers and could not find anyone to help us for a long time. Sunny finally walked by and we asked her for help and she took our order even though we were not her section. We only had an hour before concert so we were in a rush. But she took care of us. Tacos were ok but experience wasn't great overall due to lack of servers and any assistance. Margaritas were watery and lacking any tequila.

We only ate here because we were staying at the Westin and the weather is trash in downtown Cleveland in the winter obviously so we didn't want to leave. Food was good but definitely pricey. Birria quesadilla with street corn was good. Kids sliders are sweet with onions and were not a hit. You would have thought they would have told us or mentioned something since we had children. My daughter had a bowl of fruit and it was good size, made her happy so that's fine with me $5. Chips and salsa $6 were okay. Boyfriend had a great passion fruit marg and the short ribs, very generous portions for sure. Pretty place, very classy in appearance and nice service. Overall $96 was our bill not terrible but keep in mind 2 adult meals, 1 side of corn, 1 kids menu meal a bowl of fruit salsa and chips and a marg, no other drinks.

The salsa has a really good kick of heat which I like. I tried the chicken quesadilla and it was good too although a bit dry. The restaurant is spacious and clean and service was great (thanks Kate!). I also tried the bunelos sundae and found it odd that it came with chocolate ice cream and not vanilla- but oh well!

Quick service, friendly wait staff, making a reservation is a plus if you are not staying in the hotel. The menu is simple but everything was very fresh. The salsa verde is hot, and I love heat, but it packs a punch if you are not expecting it. And yes, it's a Mexican restaurant I shouldn't order the fries, but the fries were skinny hot and super crispy...loved it.

Ambiance and service top tier I really loved my drinks too! Next to the Westin hotel a perfect star for the night. Thanks for an enjoyable evening

Absolutely loved this place. Stopped in for a drink and immediately felt I was in Rocky Point Mexico. Service was amazing! Will be back when I come to Cleveland again! Loved the atmosphere

I rarely leave low star reviews, and I wasn't going to post this, but our experience tonight was not good. The food was actually good!! The service was horrendous. There were only 3 of us and our drinks came out at different times. I waited 30 minutes for my margarita. Our food also came out at different times. And they brought us the wrong food twice. And the wrong checks. Whenever we asked about drinks or food- the server was extremely defensive. He never apologized. He was even chatting it up with another table (we assume he knew them as he was looking at things on their phones) while we watched one of our beers sitting at the bar waiting to be brought to our table. I understand bad nights- but this was clearly bad service and the server didn't seem to care at all.

Bartenders need training on how to work the bar. I witnessed customers give up waiting to order, me included.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.

The wait for the food order (which was delicious) was reasonable given there was a private event happening, although it did seem the bartender was stretched a little thin, taking care of the 6-7 people at the bar, making drinks for another area, and putting glasses away from a previous shift. I had the meatballs and an Italian chopped salad, both very good. Overall, it was a nice experience.

It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14.
