Came to check out the viral soft serve margarita, and it did not disappoint! We came on a Monday evening after our cycling class and it was pretty packed! We had to wait around 5 to 10 minutes to get seated and we ended up getting seated at the bar . We ordered an appetizer of calamari , got the soft serve margarita flavor of the day (which was a raspberry and pineapple twist) and I ordered some shrimp tacos! Food was delicious the soft serve margarita was so so delicious. It is definitely worth the hype! Even though it was super busy, the staff was so friendly and it was a great time! Can't wait to be back to try the other soft serve margarita flavors!

You know why I came here, the soft serve margaritas! It was sooo good. Tasted like a fruit roll-up Forgot to snag pics of my actual food. I got fajitas which were good! Nothing very stand-out about the food. You could get the same (yummy) quality Mexican food at a much cheaper Mexican joint. I would go here if you are leaning more towards seafood. The service was nice, waiting to check in was odd - they were seating people as they got to the podium. Not taking down names. Of course, it was really crowded and the service was slow as a result. But they seemed to have it handled - so hats off to the workers! Got water right away. Our drinks came from someone working the bar. It was great. Yummy, but in my opinion over priced. Overall rating: 4.2/5 stars

Went to go try the viral frozen margarita! The line was out the door with people waiting. My friend made a reservation which was quickly honored. The place was clean and had really cool seating options. Some people sat in high stools, regular tables, and inside tiki huts. The frozen marg flavor of the day was pineapple and raspberry. The pineapple tasted like Disney World Dole Whip (soooo yummy) and the raspberry was just pure perfection. My only con, I didn't taste any alcohol. Will I go back? Yes!

Outstanding seafood and Mexican restaurant. We were very pleased with the ambiance of the restaurant and the service was attentive. The garage doors were all open and it was too cold for me.

I had a reservation so my family were seated immediately. We got the creamy margaritas which were delicious. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. Portions were huge so we left happy and full!

is is a MUST TRY if ever traveling to the Cleveland area. There will most likely be a wait, so make reservations if possible. The food and service is superior! The drinks are amazing, and the vibe is great. I would absolutely recommend and return for additional visits!

Honestly was shockingly surprised at the food! The menu isn't like any other Mexican chain or restaurant, I love that it is seafood forward and there is unique food options too! The Baja fish in the tacos was super crispy and the salsa verde is bomb! I would see next time to request some even if my dish doesn't come with it next time. Portions are large and are service was great!

First time coming here, me and a bunch of my friends were bar hopping in the area and this was one of our stops. This place took us to one of those beach huts to be seated. Staff here was pretty modest but not overly friendly either. Other staff seem like they're having fun too so I was sure this is a great place. They were very accommodating for birthdays too! Chips and salsa that we were graded with were pretty phenomenal. Great variety of drinks on their menu they do have a non-alcoholic Modelo too for those who are not drinking. I got one of their salmon meals which came with a side of steamed veggies and mashed potatoes that came out really good. It looks small upon appearance but I promise you it will fill you up. That's my menu recommendation. We had a great time surprise that this place was pretty empty too at the same time. The restroom was also cool too because they had some touch screen buttons on there. What I will say that I was a bit off on was that there is a forced gratuity on the bill and then when you pay the bill they also ask again for another gratuity to try and sneak it in. Overall, I thought it was an average place. Plenty of seafood options but nothing overly exciting. Just casual!

I am eager to return since this was my first visit and I was getting the lay of the land. The atmosphere here represents in my mind quintessential Mexican restaurant experience. There was no shortage of brightly colored decorations to view! Our service was prompt and friendly. The shrimp appetizer was outstanding! My fish tacos were also excellent, however, I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to heat/spice, and I would have preferred that my dish came with some additional sauce/dip options that were more mild. My husband's chicken fajitas were just okay according to us both. I think the general consensus was definitely order a seafood dish for the optimal experience!

La Playa offers a great atmosphere for all occasions. There were multiple celebrations going on throughout our dinner which made the atmosphere inviting! We made a reservation ahead of time, which I recommend as without one, there was long wait times and a large crowd. The soft serve margaritas were the flavor of the day, watermelon and pineapple and they were incredible! It's amazing how much fruit flavor they got into them! As for my dish, I got the Pollo Santa Fe, which included shrimp and chicken. I enjoyed the dish, especially how tender the chicken was, and the mushrooms were a great addition. The rice was also fluffy and delicious! There was a vast menu, that will leave you changing your mind purely out of curiosity! Will be headed there again to try out more dishes.

Fantastically designed to feel like you are on vacation and ready for sun and fun! Large menu with a lot of seafood and mex choices. The ceviche was my fav, we did the sampler from the apps menu and I could have had it for dinner and been happy! We all enjoyed burritos and chimichangas. For something fun, and a photo opp get the churro cart! The service was friendly. But seemed to kind of forget about us. Many time they were sitting at the end of the bar. It left us with needing things more often than not. I would go again and try more items. Fun anytime of the year but summer looks like you can take advantage of the cute patio!

I came here for a birthday drink and apps with my family... and to our surprise there was a live singer!! I fell in love with the atmosphere here!! Everyone was singing, dancing, and enjoying everyone around them! We stayed for 2 hours longer than we anticipated!!! We got chips and salsa on arrival... that was of course perfect!! I forgot to take a picture of our food (as I was enjoying my time and engulfed with the singer) but we shared and enjoyed the Molcajete and Milanesa!! Both delicious and enough food for us to fuel us for the dancing!!! BUT... our absolute favorite thing on the menu is the soft served margarita!!!!! You heard that right.... Bottom right on the drink page!! The flavors change (every day I think) but I have been here 4+ times since my birthday and I have never been disappointed!!! We are so glad someone recommended this restaurant to us!! One of our new favorites!! I hope you take the leap and enjoy yourself here as much as we did!! We will be back!! Gracias por todo, La Playa!!! If you want a night of fun, singing, dancing, drinks, food, and celebration... this is your place!!!!

But yesterday my wife and I decided to get involved with the festivities in Gorden Square/Battery Park. So on a brisk but sunny day we drove down to Battery Park in Cleveland and visited "All Saints Public House" for a tall glass of Guinness and a dish of Cabbage and Noodles topped with a Bratwurst. The Battery Park area is a wonderful part of town and a fun place to visit. "All Saints" is a great ethnic bar/restaurant. It's dark, moody, warm, full of awesome people, and just a great place to be. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were really great and made us feel right at home. We sat and talked and watched "Gone with the Wind", drank a wonderfully satisfying Guinness (on tap), and ate some of the best Cabbage and Noodles I've ever had, with an excellent Bratwurst on top. Turns out, Dyngus Day is a load of fun... and I'm still not sure what it is?

We ordered beers and as luck would have it, I was able to order their last available rack of ribs for the evening (my go-to barbecue item)! We also got some beef brisket and a few sides to share. Overall the meats were tasty, but there were a few issues with the meal. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning on them and were quite tender. The brisket also had a good bark, but was a tad dry. In terms of available sauces, the Kansas City sauce was thick and tangy, but the Proof sauce was not good at all...I just could not put my finger on what about it I didn't like n its flavor profile. The coleslaw was shredded with vinegar and quite dry, the mac-n-cheese was only semi-gooey and the fries (although tasty) were limp from being undercooked. Bottom line was thumbs up on the meats and thumbs sideways (or down) on the sides. Wil most certainly give them another try as I am a BBQ junky, hoping the outcomes are slightly better.

FOOD -- I ordered the Slow Braised Pork ($22) which includes sweet potato gnocchi, fennel, crispy sage, and apple cider glaze. This was a delicious and very hearty meal. I hardly eat pork so I'm glad that I enjoyed the dish. The sweet potato gnocchi was perfectly paired with the pork. Everything in the dish just blended well together. All my friends enjoyed their food too, from the meatballs, calamari, burger with fries, ratatouille, and more. I nibbled on a few of them and loved it especially the wagyu meatballs. The food was all full of flavour. Service was nice all afternoon as the server came to check on us a few times including refilling our water glasses. MINI GOLF -- Head downstairs to play some games. You pay a fee and are then given score sheets. A friend's friend had surprisingly paid for all of us and I had no idea until the next day (for some reason I thought the mini golf was included in the lunch cost...LOL). Each golf game has a different course with some being more challenging than others. I recommend Birdietown Mini Golf and Lounge for a fun day of mini golf plus lunch. Not a traditional seating, it was very comfy with one side being a booth and the otherwise having two comfy lounge chairs. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was large and delicious. Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.
