A great affordable lunch spot for rice bowl enjoyers! I ordered their Chirashi bowl and the bowl was tasty for the price. I will add that even though the fish quality is not fresh omakase quality, it's still not bad for the price they offered. This restaurant shines more with their hot/cooked rice bowls than their raw fish options in my opinion. Services were quick, which is a great stop for lunch.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who saw it on Instagram. Cute little spot with very aesthetic bowls. Went with the spicy tuna don,& was asked if I'd wanted the crab salad , sure why not. Pretty much a fancy way of saying its a poke bowl. A good amount of fish for the price & the crab salad was really good. We left feeling full. Service was really good. My friend & I both ordered beef bowls (spicy) to go to take home to our guys. The woman behind the counter mentioned that she'd have it made later,so it'd be fresh for us to take home. Thank you very much! The beef bowl was also really good by the way. We'll be back.

I've been warning to try this place for a while after seeing all the IG posts and finally got to come on a random Wednesday for lunch. The parking lot is pretty cramped because it shares with many other businesses. It's not a super big place with limited seating - it had a small bar counter seating, one 4-seater, and a few 2-seater tables in the hallway leading up to the bathroom in the back. We ordered Unagj Don, Beef Don, Chirashi Don, miso soup, and gyoza to share between 3 adults and a toddler. You put in your order at the counter and seat yourself, service was helpful and friendly. We were able to get the Japanese red pepper flakes on the side. I thought the portions were generous for the pricing for all the bowls but it was rice-heavy for sure. Fish did look and tasted fresh and the unagi and beef were flavorful. I think overall it was good and I'm willing to come back to try the Chicken Katsu Don since that looked good and the other poke bowls. Come try their yummy and filling bowls for lunch or dinner!

My fiance got sick from the chirashi bowl. I did not quite like my dish too much as it felt like it was lacking in flavor and quality

I finally went! Every time I'm around that area, I usually eat at Washington Square or Hmart area but I finally went and highly recommend! Environment: it was a small place with a few tables that could sit 2-4 people. You bus your own table and get your own cups of water. Staff: patient and friendly and when we asked for plates to share she wanted to make sure if those were good enough for us. Food: I went with my friends and this is what we got to share: 1. Bulgogi donburi: to be honest, it wasn't bad but nothing was outstanding. I just appreciated that it wasn't too salty or sweet with the sauce the meat was good, not dry or rough. 2. Poke: this was good for the portion and price. There was a good amount of fish along with crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumbers, green onions, and masago. The downside was that there was way too much tuna and only a few pieces of salmon. If they could make the raw fish a bit more balanced that would've been nice. 3. Chicken katsu: they don't have pork here but their katsu was delicious. They give you two big pieces and so when you cut them up into slices, you have a lot and you can share! It was crispy, it didn't have an oily feeling and very flavorful. To be honest you don't need to add any sauces and it was already good. I enjoyed it very much and hope they keep up with the consistency! Just keep in mind, they make the food after you order so it's bound to be piping hot or fresh, which means it'll take a bit of time for them to make the food.

This is a small spot in a small strip mall. Order at the counter, lots of take out happened while I was I hear. We sat and ate. It's not bad, it's simple and straightforward. I got a chirashi bowl, the fish was fresh. The selection was lacking however. Where it really fell short for me, there was a lack of vegetables, with the exception of some crudely enormous cut cucumber chunks. We also had a beef down bowl. The flavor was excellent. Overall for what this place is it passes the test 100% on the most important points. It's clean, it has some good service and the food is fresh enough.

I came to the Donburi Factory near the hotel where I was staying. The parking lot is also around the store. There's a counter when you go inside, so you can order there. There are seats in the store, but there are limited seats. I ordered eel and beef bowl with miso soup. Water is self-service and on the left side of the counter. The bowl I ordered looked good, but the color of the sauce on it was dark, so I was curious. As I expected, the sauce was salty and there was plenty of sauce on the bottom rice. I couldn't eat eel, beef, or rice because they were too salty. If possible, I hope the sauce will be less or in a separate container.

Not quite sure I remember how I had this place bookmarked but the fact that it's both close to home and to work makes it a place I should make it back to soon. I'm a fan of pretty much all Asian food and all the Asian grocery stores out here on the west side. At Donburi Factory, you have the option to just go to the location or order online, which is what I did. I figured I'd start with what seemed to be the most popular item, the Chicken Katsu Don and I added some gyoza as well. You can add or subtract items, like making it spicy or extra katsu sauce or even a side salad. I was not disappointed. The gyoza were made with chicken and not the usual pork, were tasty and crispy. The katsu was great! They give large portions and there was more than enough chicken and rice, plus some crunchy, pickled radish, of which I would have liked more. But yeah, I can see why it's so popular. With options like fried chicken( in addition to the katsu), beef, shrimp, salmon, tuna, poke, unagi and more, there is no shortage of choices and more reasons for me to return. Most everything is in the $15 range, so a little spendy but they give you more than enough food. I will be back soon. As always, support local and enjoy!

Came here at 7pm om a Saturday. This is a small place with only 1 table taken. Paid for our order at the front cashier, took a seat, miso served immediately, then the rest of the food came out in less than 10 mins. Chirashi Don: 5/5 - fish was very fresh, no fishy aftertaste. Unagi Beef Don: 5/5 - although too sweet, it was still very good. I have not been eating too much sweet lately, so it could be my tastebud, so I'm still giving this 5/5. They have a neutral gender bathroom :(

I can't pass up an Asian rice bowl so I knew I had to try Donburi Factory. They are a very small restaurant and I think our party of 3 got the only 4-top; all the other tables only sat 2. But they did a steady takeout business and had a few customers dining in too. We got gyoza, fried chicken, chicken marsh, and teriyaki chicken. All very good but the fried chicken was the best, in my opinion. Served over rice with some sauce. The spicy mayo was the tastiest and least sweet. Ambiance was a little lacking but the food was a winner.

    Crispy fried chicken was delicious!!

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations. We ended up ordering the poke Donburi, beef/unagi donburi, inari and a side of crispy fried chicken. All the food was freshly prepared and quite tasty, and the fried chicken was well seasoned; I'd probably come back here just for that! The donburi rice was just plain rice, a little bit disappointing if you're hoping for sushi rice. The atmosphere was boring, but clean and tidy. Everything came in plastic to go dishes, even though we were eating in. It seems like most people get their food for takeout. A great place to get tasty fresh food, but not a place to eat at for a cozy atmosphere.

Really enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant! Such great food and the staff was super friendly! Can't wait to come back! :)

The location was easy to find, but as with most places out here, can be a little challenging but doable. The place is big. There's a lot of seating indoor and has an outdoor area with bench seating like back home. Already hitting all the positives. The guy at the register is awesome, reminded me of my nephew. He took our order and gave us a buzzer. We sat outside and within minutes our buzzer went off. On the other side of the register is the pickup area. The guy pointed out each entree and repeated what it was. Even though I already knew what the entrees were, I actually appreciated that. It was good customer service. The food was like kanak attak. The portion was humongous. The poke nacho style wonton chips with spicy poke and kalua pig was broke da mout on point! With 3 of us sharing, we couldn't finish it, but made sure we ate all the poke so no left over lol. We also had the meat jun and garlic chicken. They were just as good. Only thing I was not 100 percent happy with was the rice and mac salad. Rice may be fresh but seemed day old to me and the mac salad needed to be thrown out. I did tell the guy. It was starting to have that sour smell. I know they didn't know, but as a local, we know and we have to support each other so everyone stay happy.
