Never had a problem with this bakery. Family members order cakes here all the time and it always comes out great. I decided to order my engagement cake from here. Simple and easy naked three tier cake with cream filling and fresh flowers on top. Day before went and confirmed my order dropped off my flowers and waiting to see my cake the next day. The day of my engagement comes and i am all excited to see the set up of my cake table. I walk into the venue and first thing i want to do is cry! My cake looks horrible and had cracks all around. It wasn't even straight. I call the bakery to speak to someone and have them come fix my cake someone and no one can help me. Some lady picked up the phone and she barely speaks English. In Armenian she kept repeating its not our fault the cake left the store without a problem. I don't care and i can't send someone to help. I started crying at my own event. Few days later i went to return the stupid plastic that they charged me $20 for and asked to speak to the manager. Before getting there i called asked for the managers name and if she was there. I was told she was at the bakery and to come on over. Five minutes later i get there ask for Marietta and they claim she is not there. I explained the situation gave my name and phone and supposedly Marietta is going to call me back. I still haven't heard back from her and it's been 2 weeks fast my event!!! I have been ordering cake for kid happy birthday. And made sure all details with Nune. At the end , the designer made a mistake and put the name on the top of basement! I called to the bakery and try to explain what happen, the employee Nune was very rude and speak on high tones.... I ask the help of manager but Manager was out of store. I ask the help from cashier and gave her my number for Manager but nobody call me back. Now is 3rd day and no answer from Bakery!! Its mean that they don't give a shit to the customer!! The main rude words from Nune was "If you don't like it our Bakery , you can use another bakeries in the city" . Congrats to the Manager and owner of MASIS BAKERY! Masis Bakery truly shows how excellent and professional they run their business. After being recommended from a friend, I can see what all the hype lives up to. This bakery has everything. LIKE LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!! From Armenian Barbecue at their other location (Sun Valley), to cakes and all sorts of pastries. DID I MENTION THEY DELIVER ANS EVEN CATER!!! I've been coming for years and let me just say, it is 100000% worth it. Just take a look at how many beautiful parties I've been to that I've seen Masis Bakery cater for. A great mom and pop place with a lot of high quality desserts and cakes at an affordable price. I supplied my son's 1st birthday from here and it was a huge hit! We got a fondant red velvet cake made with jungle themed and it came out perfect, the cake was the talk of the party and so was the platter of desserts! I just got 2 trays of the little bite sized desserts (was very affordable) and everyone loved it. A huge hit and will be coming back for every occasion I host now. I highly recommend coming here for quality, expensive-looking cakes and desserts with huge flavor but WITHOUT breaking the bank. Our guests thought we spent a fortune but we didn't! I had quotes of $350+ for a 2-tiered fondant cake and we got ours for less than $90! The little cake slices were $1 each vs somewhere else which would be $3. Highly, highly recommend. Masis Bakery has been our go to store for all of our fundraisers for MDS (club at UCLA). They always make everything fresh on the spot and are able to provide students fundraising discounts in order to assist with the mission of our club. We've always been greeted so nicely by the cashiers. Our top order has to be the ponchiks (we think Masis makes it best in the Valley). It's not skimpy on the filling and is perfectly medium sized unlike other ponchiks we have tried. We've also ordered custom jam ponchiks from them as well which has turned out delicious. Highly advise this bakery for anyone looking to impress and fundraise! Their mini tarts are also out of this world! The atmosphere and employees are also very kind! read more

This little unassuming bakery has some of the most exciting treats I have ever seen! The sell what looks like a big basket of fruit -- but it is all edible! -- for $26. It is gorgeous! They serve up delicious morning pasteries. They have an assortment of small cakes and tarts for anywhere from $.80 to $1.80 per piece. For a single person, being able to buy just small single-serving pasteries is great! The quality is outstanding. Fresh, delicious, and beautiful to look at! Also, they have a great variety every day. I can't think of anything better than this place. The second I entered I was helped, guided, and most importantly I was recommended all their best sweets that the workers recommended. I love the fact that they have a delicious and fresh cookies and the fact that there price is slightly lower than any other Armenian bakery in Glendale. The staff is very kind and I always enjoy talking to them.
