This place is packed on the weekend especially this weekend because there was a fair happening. The line was long to order but I got my drinks fairly quickly. The staff member who took my order did seem very stressed due to the amount of people but she treated us decently. I ordered two drinks: one iced matcha latte and one acai smoothie. The acai smoothie was ordered by my sister and she mentioned how she did not like it at all. The iced matcha latte is the drink I ordered and it was okay. I think it was a little bit watery so I thought it was just decent. It didn't stand out too much. I think they are known for their coffees more than their other drinks but nonetheless what I ordered tasted okay except for the smoothie. read more

We came into Republik Coffee on a Wednesday evening and had a great experience overall. Service was quick and friendly, and we got our drinks just a couple minutes after ordering. They have a pretty extensive menu along with a solid assortment of pastries and candy options. This time we only opted for drinks, but we definitely plan on coming back to try more. I ordered the iced Vietnamese cold brew. It was definitely on the stronger side, and I can appreciate that it wasn't too sweet. The menu describes the Vietnamese cold brew as including coconut water, although I can't say that the coconut water flavor comes through in the drink. That being said, it wasn't exactly a flavor I would otherwise be looking for in my Vietnamese coffee so I wouldn't count that as a bad thing. There was plenty of seating inside and the ambiance was great. It's a nice spot to hang out, study, or catch up with friends. read more

Located in downtown Burbank, this coffee spot is sort of hidden to the side so be careful not to miss it. The inside is not that big but they do have a decent amount of tables to sit at. Besides coffee they offer a variety of food options as well as pastries. Service was great, extremely nice staff. I ordered a seasonal matcha drink they offered. We had to wait a few min for an open table but not too bad. The drink took longer to come out than expected. I had to make my husband go check on the status. The taste of the matcha was good, not as earthy as ai would like but it wasn't bad either. Overall nice spot and I would be back to try other items on the menu. read more

I stopped by on a Friday around 11am. There's a parking structure in the back which is super convenient. The indoor space is small but has a handful of tables and they also offer outdoor seating. The line moved quickly and they have menus in a basket by the line so you can look over it while you wait. They sell pastries and grab-and-go items like salads, wraps, and fruit cups. I ordered the berry smoothie and it was so good! For food, my sister and I shared the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and an almond croissant. The chilaquiles were delicious and every bite in the croissant had almond. I got the lavender matcha! It was tasty. My friend got the turmeric golden latte but said it was a bit too spicy for her (pepper wise). Overall cute spot, always seems fairly crowded however with not much room for seating. Despite enjoying their drink and baked goods...I did notice their water cups weren't the cleanest (I found a lipstick stain on one...and the stack under it). Parking: There is paid parking available on the street, parking garages for downtown Burbank or you can park for free in the Burbank mall parking garage and walk over. Republik Coffee has been in Burbank for a while now and it's really good! I tried their Cardamom Oat Latte and Pistachio Latte. Both of these drinks were really smooth and had great flavor. I've never had a cardamom latte and it was a great mix of flavors. The pistachio latte was on the sweeter side but didn't overpower the coffee flavor. Service was good. Orders taken fast and drinks came out relatively fast as well. Ambiance is amazing! A cozy spot tucked away in Downtown Burbank with plenty of seating inside and outside. I have been to this location before since I was in the area decided to stop by and get coffee. I can say that latte was really good. I really enjoyed my latte. For service, I would say the young gentleman working the register was very nice and friendly. He greeted me and was very patient while I was deciding on what to order. Also, the lady in the pick up counter was nice too. She was smiling and making eye contact with customers while handing them their drinks not just leaving them on the counter like some places do nowadays. For ambiance, I would say this location has both dine in and outdoor seating area. I preferred to sit outside since the weather was nice. We had to wait for our table to be cleaned, and ask for share plates (they brought two for three people) then wait for utensils. Maybe the staff was having an off day. We came here on a weekend morning and got the dulce de leche French toast and the avocado toast. We also ordered the cardamom coffee. The coffee was very good and on the sweeter side. The Dulce de leche French toast was also good had crispy edges and fresh fruit and fresh bread. But it was probably too sweet for our tastes. The avocado toast was a little disappointing. The avocado was more like guacamole and a little more sour than I would have liked. The 7-minute egg was very small, only half a boiled egg, which is disappointing. The service was also fine. You order at the front and then sit down with the number. They brought us our food and drink. But they don't check in on you or anything. The food is more expensive like what you'd expect for a sit down with full service. For two entrees and a coffee, it was just about $45 (not including tip) so it's definitely pricy for what you get. The ambiance is very nice with high ceilings and big windows. But I don't understand why they left the door open in the morning -- the place was freezing! read more

Stopped by Republik Coffee Burbank around 5 PM. The vibe is genuinely nice -- good indoor and outdoor seating, pleasant atmosphere. I'd actually tried their Pasadena location before and the coffee was great, so I had decent expectations. The coffee here was solid too, but afterward my stomach was pretty off, which I've never experienced at other coffee shops -- might be the milk they use. On top of that, by 5 PM the pastries looked like they'd been sitting out all day, and breakfast was long gone, so food-wise there was nothing worth getting. Good spot for the ambiance, but the stomach issue alone would make me think twice before coming back. read more

The staff was kind-- helped me decide on my order and gave some suggestions on what is their most popular which was their purple Carmel latte which was made with ube! While the ambiance outside and inside was nice, the girl who took my order was kind, the barista making my drink really had no business working there. I paid $8 for the iced Sea salt cappuccino tell me while my drink was served with 3 inches of empty space?? When I mentioned it to the barista he was offended and said "what that's how I make it" the whole experience was the complete opposite of how the Pasadena location runs and I have to say I left quite disappointed at the lack of service and standards that the OG location runs by. $8 for a cup of ice, air, and almond milk no thank you read more

I'm reviewing specifically their matcha. I wouldn't have normally gone here, but my family was in town and already seated having their morning coffee so I decided to try their strawberry matcha cloud special, which was a strawberry matcha with a strawberry "cloud" (I assumed cold foam) on top. First off it was very expensive. Like $12 after tip, which is more than high end spots in LA. The cloud dissipated after a few minutes so it definitely wasn't cold foam and was kinda of a waste as an addition. The matcha wasn't good, definitely cheap bulk qualify. I knew the drink would disappoint me, as it's a coffee not matcha place. And it did. But at least I can say I tried it. I do love the outdoor seating, and I tried a bite of my boyfriend's pastry which was yummy! read more

Here in downtown Burbank we have Republik, also a location in Pasadena; this cute coffee shop on the side of a small alley gives some interest but good vibes to the table. The service was pretty quick and the lady taking our order was kind enough to also give us recommendations. We ordered a cold brew with sea salt foam I believe it stated in the description and it was the best we've had! Usually we drink just plain black coffee or strong lattes but this was delicious! The decor inside is interesting, doesn't fit my style and nothing really matches each other but hey at least they have good coffee. 10/10 will be coming back for that cold brew and maybe a little sweet treat on the menu. read more

The layout of this shop is amazing! It's modern art deco, with lots of natural curving shapes. The seating is ample and comfortable, with indoor seating, patio seating, and sidewalk seating. Staff were also great! They were welcoming and friendly and they got us through a line that was stretched out the door in under 10 minutes. Be careful raising in line or opening the bathroom door, it opens directly into the line area! Unfortunately, I don't have good things to say about the coffee. I got the caramel ube latte and, while the first sip packs a strong flavor, the rest of the coffee was just kind of watery. For all the rich flavors that supposedly went into the drink, I mostly just tasted kinda sweet watery milk. I didn't get the ube flavor, or even the espresso flavor!
