    Iced Pistachio Latte
    Mary A.

Really nice staff and such a good spot to study or just hang out. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which I really appreciated. Parking was also easy. We parked in the garage along E Orange Grove. I ordered the iced pistachio latte ($7) and it came out super fast. I liked the coffee flavor a lot, although I do wish the pistachio flavor was a little stronger. Overall, not a bad place at all and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again!

Sunday morning, breakfast in Burbank. Love this location, unfortunately felt overpriced, $8 for a cup of coffee? Outside tables with umbrellas available. Restaurant is hidden on San Fernando Road, next to a candy shop. Parking garage available.

    |[ o o h ]| 3.5 stars rounded up. So cute so friendly! Finally got to try and it was hard to find something sugar-free but still delish. I tried the London fog latte with oat milk no added sugar and I'd say it's a 3.5/5, it's not cheap and it's not bad for a study sesh here- I taste the tea but the flavor could be more intentional without need for sugar imo. The space is adorable and I love the vibe they curated here. Also love that there's a patio that I can bring my pups to, and love the vibe of the crowd on a Friday evening. |[ d e e t z ]| Sweet service, kind enough to help me make a diff drink when the original one I ordered with no sugar ended up having intrinsic sugar in the tea lol. It's downtown Burbank so parking could be a walk from the lot or st if you're lucky and willing to pay (pay by app which is nice though). |[ c u ? ]| Haven't tried the food yet but def going to come back and study sometime and try. :) please consider more sugar-free options for longevity :D

Located in downtown Burbank, this coffee spot is sort of hidden to the side so be careful not to miss it. The inside is not that big but they do have a decent amount of tables to sit at. Besides coffee they offer a variety of food options as well as pastries. Service was great, extremely nice staff. I ordered a seasonal matcha drink they offered. We had to wait a few min for an open table but not too bad. The drink took longer to come out than expected. I had to make my husband go check on the status. The taste of the matcha was good, not as earthy as ai would like but it wasn't bad either. Overall nice spot and I would be back to try other items on the menu.

I stopped by on a Friday around 11am. There's a parking structure in the back which is super convenient. The indoor space is small but has a handful of tables and they also offer outdoor seating. The line moved quickly and they have menus in a basket by the line so you can look over it while you wait. They sell pastries and grab-and-go items like salads, wraps, and fruit cups. I ordered the berry smoothie and it was so good! For food, my sister and I shared the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and an almond croissant. The chilaquiles were delicious and every bite in the croissant had almond. If you are dining in, they give you a number stand, you find a seat, and they bring your food and drinks to the table.

Ambiance: it's a cozy coffee shop located in downtown Burbank with outdoor bench seats and indoor sofa seats, and there's convenient public parking garage underground Service: not all staff are friendly, some tend to be nice and some weren't. For instance, the cashier was patient and kind when placing the orders, however, the barista made the wrong order when preparing the drinks but denied her mistake Food & Drink: classic coffee drinks with store specials Quiche of the Day - *** Ham, spinach, cheese, eggs, milk, flour, salt, and pepper, average taste Black Vanilla - *** Activated charcoal, espresso, bourbon vanilla syrup, milk, light taste Purple caramel Latte - **** Brown sugar, condensed milk, butter, ube, espresso, milk, creamy and flavorful, recommend Price: decent quality and reasonable prices for the location, expect $20~$25 per person for both drink and bite

    Lavender matcha

I got the lavender matcha! It was tasty. My friend got the turmeric golden latte but said it was a bit too spicy for her (pepper wise). Overall cute spot, always seems fairly crowded however with not much room for seating. Despite enjoying their drink and baked goods...I did notice their water cups weren't the cleanest (I found a lipstick stain on one...and the stack under it). Bathroom had a cute pic (see attached)

Overall Rating: Solid 5 Stars Love love love Republik! Parking: There is paid parking available on the street, parking garages for downtown Burbank or you can park for free in the Burbank mall parking garage and walk over. Ambiance/Decor: It's so cute and nice in Republik! Very cozy coffee shop and there have been a couple times that I have seen live music being played inside. Customer Service: The customer service is AMAZING. It is always the same consistent friendly customer service with all of the employees. Coffee: The coffee is phenomenal! My go to is the Black Vanilla Latte. I've had it iced and hot and it is so good either way! Pastry Selection: I want it all! The pastries are so delicious! My fave is the chocolate chip cookie. Make sure you ask to get it warmed up! Overall: Republik is one of my favorite coffee shops in LA! Great customer service, coffee, pastries, and plenty of cozy room to relax and enjoy. It is definitely a must try! I hope this review helps you decide on where to have coffee in the Burbank area! Overall Rating: Solid 5 Stars

I've had this spot bookmarked and finally got to check it out. The Purple Caramel Latte was a little too sweet for me but it was a seasonal drink so I felt like I needed to try it. I would have gotten something else. The ham and cheese bagel is good! There was several parking lots nearby. Staff was super friendly and there was a gentleman playing live music there.

Honestly, this is the best location I literally love what grace recommended me to get she also has great customer service.

I have been to this location before since I was in the area decided to stop by and get coffee. I can say that latte was really good. I really enjoyed my latte. For service, I would say the young gentleman working the register was very nice and friendly. He greeted me and was very patient while I was deciding on what to order. Also, the lady in the pick up counter was nice too. She was smiling and making eye contact with customers while handing them their drinks not just leaving them on the counter like some places do nowadays. For ambiance, I would say this location has both dine in and outdoor seating area. I preferred to sit outside since the weather was nice. For parking, there is metered parking and also public parking available.

Not sure what it is but this place just felt off. Maybe it's the fake grass or set-up. We had to wait for our table to be cleaned, and ask for share plates (they brought two for three people) then wait for utensils. Maybe the staff was having an off day. I did enjoy my matcha latte and the mushroom/brie toast :) Tons of potential, but not such that I'll be going back here.

    Vietnamese Cold Brew
    Maansi S.

I'm looking for places in Burbank and Glendale to get a Vietnamese coffee ever since my friend introduced me to it. I saw Republik has a Vietnamese Cold Brew so I tried it. It was pretty good! The coffee was strong and it tasted great. The reason I docked a point is because the location itself is very clustered and claustrophobic inside. There is some seating outside but it's not super comfortable. I would recommend this if you're looking for a pick up and go place.

I was very embarrassed to go up to the counter and ask for a redo, but did it anyways. They redid it without a hassle and I was very thankful. Me and my friend sat down, and I tried my friend's drink and commented that it wasn't sweet. Which is what she ordered, I didn't say it loud or nasty or anything that would excuse the following. The owner then yelled very loudly (I'm not exaggerating either) from the counter and asked very rudely if I didn't like my drink again, thinking that my friend's drink was mine. The entire coffee shop went silent, and it was very, very awkward. I was humiliated, especially since I was already embarrassed to ask for a redo. I stated that it was my friend's drink, which my friend responded and said that it was fine. She didn't say anything back other than a clipped "okay." I've been in the food service for a long time and have been a manager a few times as well. If I ever suspected that someone did not like what they had received I would come over privately and ask them. I understand that we all have bad days but it was highly unprofessional and embarrassing. Who would want to sit for another hour after you practically got yelled at for not liking a messed up drink. I will keep returning since their drinks are lovely, (especially their strawberry matcha!). The atmosphere is very cozy, and I'm happy to be a regular. I'm just hoping that the owner reflects on how she handles these type of situations for the future.

Either the employee is really uninformed about the most basic things about coffee or this business refuses to pour their normal medium/dark/flavored roast coffee over ice because they charge twice as much for cold brew... neither of which is acceptable. Got here early Sunday afternoon because the line was not absurdly long -- about 6 ish parties in front of us and waited around 15-20 minutes. The interior was really small and there's really only room for to place your order -- if you ordered a drink or sandwich you'd have to step outside to wait. There are a couple of small round tables covered with umbrellas for small parties if you want to do a small meet up or wait for your goods. We had wanted some croissants and apple tarts but unfortunately they had run out of the Apple tarts by the time we ordered (another excuse to return next time). We were convinced by the nice lady at the register to pick up not one but two almond croissants because they were fresh out of the oven and I'm SO GLAD we did. It was still hot/warm when we took our first bite after walking back to our car -- flaky amazing lamination with a steaming frangipane filling, for sure the best almost croissant I've had. The regular croissant was also good but not fresh/warm like the almond croissant so it left less of an impression but I can imagine it also tasting amazing if we got it fresh. Naturally, I asked a random customer what all the hype was about, and they told me this place was famous for their croissant pastries. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Chocolate Almond Croissant -- 9.2/10 I can only imagine how life-changing this would taste fresh out of the oven piping hot. Service was fast despite the line moving constantly, but just know there's no indoor seating. It's very much an order, pick up, and go type of spot. Ambiance was welcoming and super friendly gals. Definitely a must-try, and I'll absolutely remember to stop by again anytime I'm in Burbank. Happy eats!!
