I walked 2 miles (which isn't a big deal) for my 1pm appointment and checked in on my phone at 2 minutes past 1. I received my 1pm confirmation through text message. The young lady at the desk told me to wait in the lobby and Fran would be right out. Apparently from what I'd overheard, Fran had already packed up her things and was finished for the day but offered to take me for the remainder of the time. I refused the offer as my 50 minute massage would have turned into a 30 minute massage for the the price of a 50 minute massage. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

Just had an AMAZING hot stone massage with Yanet. I have had other massages at this location and other hot stone massages here as well, but none worth writing home about until today. Yanet really listened to what I said about my problem areas and what was bothering me, and really targeted those spots. Her pressure was perfect and she asked periodically if everything was ok and if anything needed to be changed. I had a few deep knots that she really worked on and worked out. I have never been relaxed enough during massage to the point that I fell asleep until today! She will definitely be my "go to" masseuse from here on out! read more

Let me Start by saying I had a wonderful deep tissue massage by Marvin, however upon entrance the front desk staff are on their cellphones having personal calls and barely have time to speak with me as if I'm disturbing them. I arrived at my appt 25 mins earlier than my 12:45p apt and did not get to fill out my info on the IPad until 1:06pm AFTER my appt time of the massage because they forgot I was sitting there. After my massage ended I come to the front to check out just to have the young lady to the left still on her cellphone on a personal call while they decide which one will check me out. The east boynton beach location is so unfriendly when you walk in the door the therapists are fine but the desk is like a bunch of robots. I came here yesterday and I will never go back. I asked for a light to medium pressure and I wanted to relax. Well I had crystal she talked the whole entire time (didn't even stop for one min) about herself also she did a deep tissue massage and was way to rough. In the beginning she said that she has been doing it for many years and she always does deep tissue and I told her I can't handle deep tissue and I just want light to medium pressure. Well now I have bruises all over my back and I'm in severe pain to where I can't even lay on my back. I have had many massages over the years but this is by far the worst I have ever had. read more

Massage locally, is relatively new to me. I've only ever had a massage, on vacation and only because it was included in the tour package as one of the choices for activities. I assumed massages were only for special occasions or wealthy people. After having a neck and arm issue, with numbness, pain and tingling, I decided to see if massage would help. I feel I'm a bit old for a chiropractor, and so massage seemed the gentler option. I was assigned to a lovely young woman named Jillene. She was very sweet and I expected a soft touch. She's quite strong however and so the massage was deep in my neck where the knots were located. What a good relief. I have plans to get a massage monthly with this angel, to prevent allowing my shoulder and arm to knot up so tightly again. Highly recommend this location, this type of massage store/spa? SO-SO I have been to 15 or more Massage Envy's. I travel quite a bit. Being a regular (2 or more massages a month for a year or longer) at 4. I had around 20 90 minute massages at this Massage Envy. I found this M.E. to be smaller than most. The bathrooms not as clean as most. The front desk not rude but in no way friendly. I swapped around therapist (which I detest) they all were so so. I even asked management who was the best therapist for my needs (got 2 names). Made sure I was their first client of the day. I was not impressed. Took 2 friends as gifts. Neither of them were overly impressed. Like I said - So So. read more

Came for a couples massage while on vacation. The staff was very friendly. My girlfriends therapist seemed to have some issue with touching feet. Other than that, both were very professional, kept quiet except to ask about pressure and some other instructional questions. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this location. My therapist was very helpful after the massage, by recommending a few things to keep my muscles from tightening up again. Pros: Professional, quiet, skilled therapists. Today, Ashley in administration at Boynton Beach was excellent in helping me to resolve an ongoing issue which had been left unresolved for months by the PGA/US-1 location. Massage Envy is my favorite. As a Flight Attendant for a major airline, I am often in different states throughout the week. Recently I had a layover in the Boynton Beach area. I have had to reschedule appointments on a few occasions and recently I somehow scheduled an appointment at the wrong location. The receptionist were all super friendly and helpful and I was not charged for my mistakes. When I arrived to this location they were still able to fit me in for an appointment. This was the best massage that I have received through Massage Envy. It is too bad that he works for the one in West Palm Beach and not at the one I usually go to in Massachusetts, haha. His name was Danny J. He really spent the time getting to know my problem areas. I felt as though he was really listening to what my body needed. My focus areas were in my neck throughout my upper body and back. You could tell that Danny was very experienced and knowledgeable about massage therapy. He made me feel extremely comfortable and made sure to express if I felt uncomfortable (too soft or too firm) anytime throughout the massage, to please let him know. I enjoy my massages with a medium to firm pressure. This massage was perfect. I left feeling refreshed and recovered. I'm not sure how his other massages are if you prefer things not medium to firm, but I am sure he is terrific. I needed deep tissue massage, and Claude was excellent. It was extremely painful, but I feel the massage did help me. The pain during the massage never got any better, and so I decided to stop coming. I knew I had a contract for a year, and would have to pay for those sessions even if I didn't come. You can give one session to someone else as a gift, if you pay $10 extra. However, watch out for the contract! There is fine print, and they will never remind you, that they will keep on charging you every month for the rest of your life if you don't come in person and fill out a cancellation form. They claim that they send texts to let you know when they charge your account, but I never received any. They charged me $300 without my realizing it. I consider this bad practice. Also be aware that this is not a fee-for-service purchase. They expect you to tip generously, and they remind you every time to be sure to tip. I always tipped $20, but I saw some people who tipped more. So consider the price plus a tip when you consider the cost. read more

I called this location in severe pain after pulling a back muscle (I think?) the day prior. Not only was I able to be seen that day, but I was lucky enough to have Erica as my massage therapist. She was genuinely concerned about my hunched over state and my "90 year old lady" walk. She skillfully first iced the area while she massaged other parts of my body, and then massaged my pulled muscle with such skill and professionalism. I was fully recovered within 2 days. I do not think such rapid recovery would be possible without Erica. Thank you so much, Erica--I will be back next time I'm in Boynton Beach! read more

had a couples massage here today and the massage was great in the areas I needed serious work on but I felt like my masseur has a weird thing with touching feet because she mainly massaged them through the blanket. My feet are manicured and well taken care of so i was a bit surprised she didnt massage them much. This location did not impress me. Not sure who manages this location but it was very unprofessional. The employees were more interested in ordering food for lunch. I felt it could've been more cleaner. Windows on doors were extremely dirty. Walls in massage rooms were dirty. God only knows if the sheets that covered me were clean! I got a gift card for a massage on my birthday and have never been to a Massage Envy. I decided to go in and use it last night and couldn't be happier. The three young girls at the front were very friendly and nice. I waited for my appointment to start by filling out consent forms and preferences for my massage. After just a couple minutes, Leslie came out and told me she'd be massaging me tonight! From the time I had with her (60 min), I could tell she had a fun and quirky personality. She made jokes and made sure the pressure was okay for me throughout the whole massage. But Leslie did not talk too much to where I could not enjoy my massage. She definitely knew what she was doing. Leslie, at many times, moved around my muscles to roll out my horrible knots in a way that I've never felt before and at the same time, felt AWESOME!! Once I left, one of the young girls informed me on a monthly massage deal I could sign up for - she knew her stuff! I made the appointment the day before on the Massage Envy web site for 4pm the next day. At 11 the day of the appointment I had not received a confirmation email or phone call, so I called them to confirm. I've been to this place before and it went okay so I decided to get my mom a massage for mother's day. My mother arrived 7 mins late to her appointment because the weather was really bad, it was raining and it just wasn't a good day to be driving. Due to her being late she ONLY received a 30-35 minute massage. My mother said that they never advised her that the time started running at 12:30 which it was the time of her appointment, they had her fill out a form and again they never advise her that her time was running (even though they weren't even in the massage room) I think this is very absurd, if she was 7 mins late to her appointment because of a weather condition then they should've done -7 minutes of her 1 hour massage not only give her a 30-35 minute instead. I am very very upset and disappointed when I called to ask what had happened the supervisor was very rude basically blaming my mother for being late. I don't recommend this place to anyone, the service was awful and just a total bad experience for my mother. I've been late to spa's before and I have never been penalized for being late. This people need to modify their policy because if someone has an emergency or they're late they either lose their appointment or they cut off the time. I am very upset and I am never coming back here it was a total waste of money. read more
