Stay away!!! In 2022, I signed up for a 6-month membership at $80/month, which I paid and used without issues. When the 6 months ended, the receptionist offered to let me "keep the same price." I specifically asked multiple times whether this meant an ongoing membership with automatic monthly charges. I was clearly told NO and that I could cancel anytime. Fast forward to 2025 -- I discovered I had been charged every single month, despite using the service only once in three months. When I tried to cancel, they: * Refused to provide service because my card was temporarily blocked (I had ordered a replacement and informed them). * Sent me cancellation paperwork stating I could only cancel if I was physically ill or had moved more than 25 miles away -- which directly contradicts what I was promised. * Said a manager would "review" my request and call me, with no clear timeline, while continuing to charge me. I have no active contract since 2022, yet I am being trapped in ongoing charges with impossible cancellation requirements. This is deceptive, unethical, and feels intentionally designed to make cancellation difficult. I do not recommend this location or Massage Envy in general. read more

No one communicated this to me beforehand or offered any explanation during the wait, which is completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. I have been a member of Massage Envy Brickell for over 10 years. By far the best salon for massage and facial treatment for general well being and for any or most medical requirement massage and or facial- check with your doctor first. I have sciatica and their massage therapists are trained to assist with this often very painful condition. Madelayne is my regular excellent massage therapist whom I highly recommend for her friendly, vast expertise, care and treatment during my sessions. Yenny is my regular excellent esthetician whom I also highly recommend for her friendly, vast knowledge of skin care and gentle touch throughout. Unfortunately, this is the worst massage envy I've ever been to. From the Parking situation to the poor customer service, it's all around the worst. I've been trying to make a facial appointment for over a month after they cancelled my initial appointment, i've been unable to book again because the aesthetician only works mornings when everybody else is working. BEWARE! I was a member for 6 years and now that I lost my job and have fallen behind they won't cancel or Freeze and continue to charge me. They keep calling every week And I pick up to see if they finally canceled but it's to ask when I'm going to pay. I kindly tell them again I can't pay until I get a job so I rather cancel or freeze and they say I have to bring current to cancel. I have never heard of a membership that can't be canceled and they refuse to freeze my account to prevent more charges. I'm sure there are great therapists here, however I just wasted an hour of my time and my pain is still there. I specified when I called to make the appointment, in person at the desk when checking in, and then again to the therapist in the room that I came in because of my lower back. Not once did she touch my lower back- it was only my shoulders. Q - when checking out I told her this and showed her the time. My massage had only been 40 mins rather than 50. Nope - She did not offer me any sort of consolation but was only concerned with if I would be coming back. That is a really poor business model. The front desk was apologetic, but again - did not offer anything after I told her that I just wasted my time and I wasn't listened to- and that i just paid for a service that was 10 minutes less than the time i was supposed to receive. Their whole motto is that the hour is "all about you" (in my case 40 minutes I guess) but I didn't have anything done according to what i asked. One upside was that she gave me a nice facial massage at the end. Either way, the service was rushed and there was no knowledge behind it. Just rubbing. I think any untrained person could have done what she did. And it didn't help that at the end, the front desk was just concerned with any potential commission she was going to make off the sale of a pack or membership by still suggesting I come back there once a month for another service or to buy a pack of three ... I paid in full and left a tip because I do not want to mess with anyone's livelihood but this was extremely disappointing and at the very least should have been offered to come back for a massage with someone else or given a discount. read more

I come here a lot it's a good place. The bathrooms Are always clean and the staff is friendly. I've tried so many of the massage therapists here they're all great honesty. Never had one that I didn't like in the past year that I've been coming. Sometimes they're busy and it's hectic but overall the staff here is very nice & attentive. read more

I declined that I was traveling. They kept pushing it. But I said NO. I understand the corporate makes them do their job. Nothing personal, but it's hella annoying at time. The staffs surely listened to corporate and they do a good job though. Overall, I would come back again because of the prime location in Brickell, where my hubby and I usually stay. However, there is a suggested chart for tips, and when I was asked what I wanted to leave for a tip, I said it out loud and a manager frowned and pointed at the suggested chart. This is a tip, a voluntary extra payment for the services rendered. DO NOT SHAME CUSTOMERS ABOUT WHAT TIP THEY VOLUNTARILY WANT TO GIVE. First the good - I have had an 2 excellent massages at this location. Unfortunately that particular therapist left. I have had and excellent stretch with another therapist. And I had a very good chemical peel with a very experienced and good esthetician. Now the diappointments - THE PARKING is not easy, it's Brickell. THE SERVICES -I had one therapist who did not speak a SINGLE word or English and after 10 minutes I stopped her, got dressed and walked out. If you cannot communicate with someone working on your body it's just not good. I have has other massages that were just "meh". About 8 in total. Plus I found the massage oil/lotion to smell weird, and kinda rancid. CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP. I sent in my filled out form on March 24th. I had not heard back so 6 days later I called and was told there was no manager in. I called more 4 times over the next week and each time I was told the manager would "be in later" or "they were at lunch" or "they had a family emergency ". I finally got a hold of a manager on April 9. 12 WORKING days after the form was sent. First she said that she never received it. Then she said she found it but that it was still "pending". Then she said it takes 7-10 working days to process. I reminded her that it has been 12 working days already. Im totally frustrated and hope to be done with ME soon. By the way, I was a member at ME in another city for a year and was happy, but I moved away, so maybe it's just a Miami thing. read more

It blows my mind how massage envy is treating customers right now with covid going on. I called to cancel my membership due to financial issues and being uncomfortable getting a massage anytime in the near future because of the virus. I spoke to Angel, the spa consultant, about my options and she said I could freeze my account for 3 months "which is their covid program". That's not a covid program, this is something that has always been in place before coivd was a thing. Almost every major corporatation is doing something / making exceptions to help their customers during this time and massage envy has only paused payments while they were closed because legally they wernt allowed to charge while being closed. I do not recommend going to this place and especially do not join the membership program. Every other membership based model gives way more power to the customer. You might as well be signing a enterprise contract for a business or a getting a morgage. These people don't see you as guests, clients, or customers, they make you a slave to your contract. read more

My favorite and go to spa for facials. yes, FACIALS. I don't even come here for the massages lol. I mean I can, but I became a member to do my facials here once a month. The estheticians are always right on time and very professional. They have Dr Murad products which I use for my daily skin regimen, and I 100% hands down recommend using Murad products. I use the hydrating toner and 30 spf anti aging sunblock moisturizer. Both of them have saved my life. Anyways, they are very nice and attentive at massage envy and have the place very well kept and organized. I truly am happy to be a member here, and I believe my skin has benefited from the facials I get here. It's cold in here, the chairs in the waiting lounge are worn and vibrate due to the loud music from a nearby business. The "soothing music" in the room was loud I'm guessing to drown out the even louder air conditioning. While done in a polite fashion, you are being sold on everything from their monthly programs, extra services, and products from start to finish. I read this location's YELP reviews before going in today and deciding to add a facial to my visit for the first time. I'm just returning to Massage Envy post-pandemic and have credits to utilize. I thought maybe things had gone south based on the reviews, but that's not at all the case. My experience was excellent - from the moment I walked in and for both services (massage and facial). Chris B., the manager, was working the front desk and was warm and welcoming when I arrived. I was taken back to the waiting area for only a minute before my therapist, Rainier, came to walk me through. Rainier was wonderful, professional, and thorough. He asked how he could help to begin, listened, and provided attention to the areas I noted during the massage. I require a deep pressure and he was in tune with where the need was in my muscles. If you're athletic or experience stress tension, I highly recommend Rainier. The massage was the full 50+ minutes (60 minutes minus dressing time and brief consultation). I've also seen Iliana in the past and she is equally excellent and attentive! After my massage, I returned to the front desk where Chris, the manager, pleasantly greeted me, checked in on my experience, and then walked me through to the facial side of the spa. He offered me cold water as I waited and was just so friendly and accommodating. Jennifer C., my aesthetician, was friendly, clear, and professional - clearly she takes pride in her work (as does everyone I encountered on this visit). Jennifer, talked through my skin care concerns with me, discussed her suggested approach, and shared with me the process to come and a bit about the products (e.g., fragrance free, dermatologist grade). During the extractions, Jennifer was communicative and thoughtful about the pressure and discomfort that is to be expected - she checked in with me through the process to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend seeing Jennifer for your facial at this location! She's definitely the aesthetician for me going forward. I finished up my services, used my credits, was able to add gratuity and had a nice conversation with the manager before leaving. No one pushed any products during my visit and Chris happily and thoroughly answered my questions about how my credits would be used for a 90-minute massage (for example) or for a stretch session added to my massage - answer: the credits can be used, and a 1/2 credit will be deducted for a 90-minute. He also was super helpful about how a gifted massage would work if I wanted to give one to my husband. Truly, a great experience on a Sunday morning! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and professional. This massage Envy location is the worst!! I have been to several Massage envy locations throughout the country and this is by far the worst and dirtiest location i have ever been to. While i was getting a massage i open my eyes and saw a roach roaming the floor! The room smelled like dirty socks and bed sheets seemed to be dirty, i even noticed the pad that you put your face on was not switched out from the previous customer because it had makup on it and had to point it out when she came back to the room. The girl giving me the massage started complaining about the owners telling me that the owners are cheap and that they don't care about the customers, they make their own policies and don't follow corporate rules and that all they care for is the money and that they are always trying to screw people with their contracts. Wow, the owners of this place need to go to hell if this is how your own employees talk about you. Clean this place up, its unsanitary and smells bad! Got a massage from Brad two weeks before that and it was also amazing... fell asleep twice! Highly recommend both this Massage Envy location and recommend Doris & Brad personally! Going to keep up my every-two-weeks massage regimen for sure! Keeping up my self-care regimen as often as possible with my busy work schedule, I had a facial last night with Katherine... wonderful!! Super relaxing & my face looks so clean and beautiful this morning. I am disappointed with my massage today. My therapist cut my massage 7 minutes short, had long nails which frequently dug into my skin, used heaping amounts of oil, kept massaging me in areas that tickled me even though I asked her to stop and would transition from using high pressure to no pressure at all. The only reason why I'm giving my experience 1 star is because she was sweet. When I communicated this to the front desk, all they told me was that they wouldn't match me with this therapist for future massages and they would let her know of my concerns. I booked a 80 minute massage two weeks ago. (12:00 to 1:30) I arrived right before 12:00. I was told my massage was at 12:30. I was positive it was at 12:00. My therapist was on a break at 12:00. I entered the room and the therapist tells me we only have 50 minutes. I booked an 80 minute massage. The manager comes in and informs me that he called me in the morning and changed the time. (No message left) His excuse was the therapist was working too many hours. (They booked my appointment 2 weeks ago) Also, after much back and forth about it, I agreed to 50 minutes. The manager tells the therapist to do the full 50 minutes. He walks out. The therapist tells me to get dressed because she could not do a full 50 minute massage... WTH is this about... I serious would NOT go to the Brickell location. The therapists do not speak English, the place is disorganized, the front desk dirty. Not a good place to be. I am calling the owner as his S. As a member for years,, I came in yesterday with back pain and wow! Marais ("therapist") was extremely unprofessional!! She walked out 3 mins into the massage for I simply requested to not use her elbow joint on the hip none for it hurts!!! She replied, well should we stop the session... I said no...I showed her the one spot and she could not even accommodate a simple pain request... My fiancé and her therapist also witnessed it... 5 mins later the manager said to come out front, and they proceeded to mention, she has hand pain...Really?? So why have her doing massages.... Systemic top down management and staff issues.... while some are very friendly, some are too relaxed to review the client profile prior to assigning someone with "hand pain." They still have not reached out to justify her behavior, but was fine to inconvenience the client with such hospitality.
