I FEEL LIKE A NEW MAN. Boy was that a FAB massage. I got a 60 minute massage and I felt totally relaxed and comfortable. My therapist make sure my pressure was good and I was comfortable with movements and her touch. The music was perfect and relaxing and well worth the regular price and even better I got an introductory rate of 55$ instead of the full 95$! My first massage experience....ever happened today! I could not have been more excited for this massage! I am so relaxed right now- I knew I would be but I didn't think it would be this amazing! I went in the 20 mins prior as told to me so that I could fill out forms and also get a tour. The receptionist was awesome- knew who I was and at temped my name right when I walked in (people get tripped up on my name a lot). She took me in a small meeting room where I completed a form to be able to give my masseuse a better understanding as to why I was there and what I would like to have done. I filled the form out and she showed me around real quick and got me some water. I hadn't sat down more than a few minutes when I was greeted my Lauren, my masseuse. She was awesome! She took me to my room and we talked about what my areas of concern were. She left the room and I changed to my comfort level. There is an ottoman that you can keep your clothing in and a hook on the door for your coat. For your jewelry there is a little bowl on their stand that you can keep it in. I got on the table and Lauren worked her magic! It was great! Afterwards she talked to me about how I was feeling as well as giving me a sheet to tell me what we did and her suggestions for next time. While a massage is pricey and one reason that I haven't gotten one before now I will be saving money and heading back to Lauren! read more

Massage envy doesn't list a contact number to call and schedule an appointment .. it simply provides you with a link to schedule online. After six attempts on multiple browsers (i.e. safari, chrome, firefox, edge, IE, opera, and epic) ... I finally was successful in booking an appointment with my PHONE. I received word that the technician cancelled, and no one else was available when I was available. I was told they would call me back to see how I would like to proceed - and never received a follow up call. While I appreciate they called me in the morning to notify me of the cancellation, the fact that they were unwilling to accommodate my scheduled request is disappointing, and failed to follow up with me regarding rescheduling is very sad. I was told someone would call me back later in the day. If they have a cancellation policy that requires a customer to pay 50% cost of the fee if they cancel less than 24 hours in advance, then when their technicians "cancel" their appointments on the same day, they should offer to reschedule the service with the technician that cancelled, or another one, at 50% of the original price. read more

I booked a message as I was given a gift card for my birthday. I was extremely disappointed. Upcharges for everything. Only 50 minute massage instead of 60 as advertised as they use that 10 minutes for you to dress and undress.... really? They were more worried about me signing up for their membership then how I liked my message and were my needs met. I asked for my legs and feet to be worked on and my message therapist barely touched them. All they care about is your wallet and not you!!!! read more

So my wife loved this place 3 years ago when we first went there. We had a massage therapist who I will keep anonymous, but she has since gone to work, and still does, for the Cavs. Since she left the massages we have received have been average. The attention given is not very personal by both front desk staff or therapist and the actual massage, while good, is simply not as good as before. read more

Got a chemical peel. Experienced extreme swelling and browning under eyes on day 5. Called on day 6 when swelling did not subside and deep lines popped up. Had to call them back Monday at noon because no one called me back. When they did call back the girl on phone asked questions, then interrupted the answer by talking through it. I finally had to tell her that she was not listening and that she'd interrupted me 3 times. They did not care that I'm crying on phone because I'm so worried about what has been done to my face. Completely ignored the browning I told them about which is my main concern. Calling dermatologist which I should have done in the first place. Regret going here. Worried about permanent damage. read more

My husband and I have been long time patrons of Massage Envy stores. We used to go frequently when we lived in the Chicago area. Moving to the Mentor, Oh area we were pleased that there was one close to home. Everyone at this location is so inviting and friendly. We have memberships there and last year when my father passed they were very understanding and were able to help us with putting our accounts on hold and making sure that any time that we were able to spend there was worth while and that we didn't lose any sessions. I have another massage scheduled for tonight with James and I'm so excited! read more

Unprofessional receptionist! RUDE! The names are Jessica and Morgan. I attempted to schedule on appointment, I was hung up on once by Morgan. Once I called back Jessica answered and spoke over me the entire time. I was placed on lengthy holds both times. This is the third office I have tried they are always completely booked weekends weekdays whenever. I expressed to Jessica that I have been trying to book for the last month she quickly got an attitude and cut me off! Unacceptable! I want money back from the gift card purchase!!!! But of course no refunds for gift cards. For a company as large as Massage Envy this is horrible!!!!! Terrible first impression I will tell everyone I know about my experiences over the phone, I could just imagine how the massage experience would have been. read more

I went the first time for the introductory rate of $45 and had a decent experience and it seemed to really help my neck and back. I went ahead and signed up for the membership & I completely regret it. It's $70 a month only including 1 massage a month and doesn't give you any bonuses as a member. The massages I've had since then have been sub par & I haven't been able to book the same masseuse as the first time. A staff member has also been rude to me on the phone & being someone who has worked in the service & retail industries I don't understand that at all. I am off work Sunday and Monday this week & they are booked except for masseuses who only do "light pressure" not medium or deep. Unfortunately I'm stuck in contract with them for a year. read more

Not my first massage. I've had all kinds of types from deep tissue to hot stone and therapeutic. This one was run of the mill. Nothing spectacular and didn't leave there feeling much better than when I went in. I didn't like that after the massage they sat me down with someone that tried to sell me a membership. Very car salesmen like. So after I said no for the 100th time (this is probably why I felt no better) I left and never plan on going back. It was nothing specific about therapist besides he was only okay. But the car salesmen tactics were the worst! read more

was disappointed from beginning to end. I went only because i was given a gift card as a gift. My first clue was when making an appointment they required that i give a credit card number over the phone to hold the appt. i have never had to do that at any other spa or salon. If i didn't have the gift card that i needed to use i would have said no right there. Also,, the appt they were holding for me was a same day appt. I found the THREE pages of paperwork required to be ridiculous for getting a facial. asked more questions that a doctors office. Then the products used on my face burned my face and today i am covered in a rash everywhere where that was massaged, arms, neck and chest. will never go back. please people don't buy gift cards for this place. They also are heavy handed about trying to get you to buy memberships. look up how many complaints there are about that!!!. lots of consumer complaints. read more
