I rarely write reviews , but I had to share how much Renee has helped me through a series of hydro colonic cleanses . She is not only incredibly knowledgeable, also deeply intuitive , compassionate and respectful of the body's natural healing process . From my very first session , I felt like I was in the hands of someone who truly cares--about her work, ,her clients and their well being . She has several locations and I've now had multiple sessions and each time I walk away feeling lighter , clearer physically and mentally and more in tune with my body. Renee creates a calm , non judgmental space , and she explained everything in a way that made me feel safe seen and empowered to take better care of myself. It saddens me to see she doesn't always get the glowing reviews she deserves--because if you take the time to allow yourself to be comfortable with the experience and let her do what she's gifted at you'll realize you found a true gem !!! I absolutely adore her , trust her , and I can't recommend her highly enough . She's made a major difference in my health and quality of life . If you're hesitant -- I'd say do it for yourself and go in with an open mind and a willingness to learn . I promise you won't regret it !!! My first experience! It was good. So happy I made the decision to go. Everyone should go!! Lol the facility was clean, the process was pretty quick,and the owner was knowledgeable and passionate about colonic hydrotherapy. I didn't realize you'd basically do the insertion yourself, which was fine but If you're having a hard time you my need assistance, which I'm not sure they do?? I mean I think they would but I didnt get assistance. she stressed the probiotic treatment for aftercare which cost a little extra but I guess it's needed...I felt relieved and detoxed when I left. I had an awesome experience! Rene was kind and explained the procedure very well. She checked on me throughout the procedure. The procedure was very gentle.The treatment room was very clean. Pricing was fair it was $85 plus tax. I was not forced to make any other purchases or pay any other fees so I am not quite sure what others are speaking of. I cannot wait to go back! read more

After reading the only review here I was hesitant I must say to keep my appointment, however, I am so glad that I did because it was nothing like the review. I was greeted by the owner and her Pomeranian who was adorable and really helped me feel at ease. She was welcoming and I felt at home and very comfortable. The area I was greeted in as well as the treatment room was very clean with a great attention to detail. Space was also welcoming in every way. This is the first time I had done anything like this so my experience really helped alleviate my fears and jitters. In addition to the welcome, the rest of the procedure was a very good experience and I would recommend the procedure and this establishment with high marks across the board. Her knowledge and willingness to talk through the process was so welcoming and unlike what had been posted. So based on my experience I will be going back and recommend with high marks. Rene wanted me to continue or do it at least once a month but at this time I will wait for warmer weather to return. The price was about $93 which is a bargain for the service she provides. Unprofessional in just about every sense of the word. Renee was very rude, even to the point of hostility. She was inappropriately dressed, carried her dog around with her and talked on her cell phone repeatedly instead of paying attention to the paying client in front of her. She was late for my apt and told me she does not show up early for apts because she does not want to wait or be stood up. What??? It's okay to make the client wait and think they've been stood up??? I waited outside because the building was locked and she was not answering the phone. I ended up leaving and driving away but did return when she called me on my cell a few minutes later and complained rudely at me for leaving. Anyway, the place was not as clean as I had expected. The colon hydrotherapy room was iffy at best. Lots of dirt build-up on things, things disheveled. The blinds do not give complete privacy from the outside and the tub you lay on is right in front of the window which is right on the sidewalk. But more so, there was a big hole in the door because the door knob was removed and the hole never filled in. And I am laying there undressed with a tube up my hind end! The other hydrotherapy room door did not close well either because I was in the front room waiting to pay when the door just opened up on its own while a poor woman was in there getting her colonic and she was completely exposed - although I was far enough away from the door that I did not see anything - fortunate for us all! There are hidden expenses that are not disclosed up front, so it costs more than you think. And of course, she tries to upsell you on other products and services which I politely declined. She has a sign suggesting how much we should tip her on top of our payment, too. She was quite harsh in comments she made towards me, telling me I needed to lose weight, and follow her advice, not what my doctor tells me. Hmmmm. I could go on as there is more, but I don't want to be too critical. I think the thing that scared me the most was the potential un-cleanliness of the procedure room. Another client was using the room immediately following me, and it took Renee all of 60 seconds maximum to clean the room for him. And after seeing all the fecal contamination that is left behind from a colonic, that gives me HUGE pause for concern. On the positive side, the colonic does seem to do what it's supposed to do and is not too terrible, just really messy. If you go, be sure to bring your own cleansing wipes because she only provides a roll of toilet paper and a trash can to place them in. It was pretty gross and I went straight home to shower. Suffice it to say, I will never return to Total Body Image and I cannot recommend them to anyone based upon my personal experience. Hopefully others have not been so unfortunate... read more
