A gentleman friend whom is a monthly member of Massage Evny gifted me a service. Easily he was able to call and request his extra service to be transferred to me. All he had to provide was my contact phone number. Of course it helped since I was already in the system. Once upon a time I was a very loyal monthly member. I believe he paid a $10 transfer fee. Then Right away I took advantage of this gift. My body was screaming for a massage! I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The front desk asked me what type of service/massage was I looking for ... if a deep tissue or soft relaxing pressure. Providing her that I like firm pressure and was overdue on a massage she recommended me to see Sahily which focus on deep tissue massages. I appreciate that at booking time... I was asked on my expectations in order to find the best therapist for my needs. Sahily was very nice and she was great working on my tension areas. ( my whole body). She said I was very tense and lots of knots. I added to my service fully body CBD oil for an additional $30.00. It helps with inflammation. At the end of the service the front desk attendant comes out with recommendations that the therapist notices. In my case my whole body head to toe was in red that required attention. I was told also to consider some stretching which they offer as well. Recommends both stretching and then a massage in order to get into the tissues and benefit's. As I was tempted to join the monthly membership that has benefits of roll over treatments. Monthly or even every other month. I opted to hold off till next year. The only thing I was unhappy was with... is that somehow ... I think it was iodine got on my face and hand. I think that when I was lying face down because the sounding of my face was orange for a few days. Then I guess I touched my hands after touching my face. Made zero sense. You pay $80 a month to basically pay $80 a month. If I go twice, I'm still paying for one, and then the other is 'free' except it isn't free because I'm already paying. She pushed the membership hard, but honestly, the math doesn't work. So yeah, cool experience once, but I won't be back. Extremely disappointing customer service. Two weeks ago I went to Massage Envy to redeem a massage transfer that my sister had given me about two years ago. Instead of a smooth experience, I was met with confusion and very poor customer service from the manager, Yessenia. She clearly did not know how to process the transfer and repeatedly she went going back and forth to her office trying to figure out what to do. It was unprofessional and frustrating to sit there while the manager seemed completely unprepared to handle a basic request. The massage therapist did a good job and the massage itself was enjoyable, but the customer service experience completely overshadowed it. It was honestly some of the worst service I have ever experienced. To make matters worse, my sister recently tried to transfer additional services to me again, and now we are being told it cannot be done because I received a transfer two weeks ago.( which was 2 years ago not now!!! ) We are getting different answers each time, which makes the situation even more frustrating and confusing. Massage Envy seriously needs to improve staff training and customer service. A company with this reputation should not be leaving customers feeling this dissatisfied and poorly treated. The Microderm Infusion service provided by Beatrice was wonderful, she was able to give me feedback based on my skin needs. I was told that if I sign up, I would get a free a free $95 introductory service the same day, instead when I got to the front I was told that my facial was going to be $175. I let the girls in the front desk know that the aesthetician told me that I would only pay $130 for the service that she was providing. She had just left so they could not verify this. They messaged the manager to ask for clarification and guidance , all in all a 20 minute resolution wait to resolve this. I was also told that my service would be free of charge since I signed up for the membership, but that wasn't the case. They simply wanted to enroll me and instead of doing a month-to-month they enrolled me in a 12 month membership with no choice of month-to-month, I even asked if month-to-month was an option and I was told no. Honestly, the only reason why I didn't make a bigger fuss about it was because I was using a gift card that was given to me for Christmas that covered about 80% of the cost and seeing that I will never return to Eddie massage envy, locally or nationwide. The manager ended up honoring the price that was provided by the aesthetician. The girls then asked me for my debit card to pay for the service and tip that I left and they ended up charging the total onto my card. I let them know that they charged the total and they said. "Yeah, because that was the total cost of the services and tip." Then I told them that I had given them a $100 gift card and then go off, they voided the transaction and charge the correct amount. This was my first time coming to this location ( I've been to Doral and Coral Gables location), and this by far is my new favorite location. I read a few reviews on how the girls in the front desk were rude so I was ready for it but they both were very sweet and attentive. I felt welcome when I first came in. Let talk about Barbara and how amazing she was. She honestly has positive aura and a great attitude. I haven't felt so refreshes and untangled in a while. She explained an hour is actually only 50 minutes, no explanation for the other 10. Paid with $100 dollar bill but they won't accept anything over $20 bill. I explained that this is legal, tender good for all debts, public and private as it says on the back of the hundred dollar bill and every US bill she refused to accept. The therapist did not focus on the area selected at check in but pretty much just applied lotion very gently. The pricing is extremely high considering the low quality service. My boyfriend and I did the couples massage. When we got there, we were attended by one of the girls working at the front desk, which she then asked us questions about what parts of our body felt the most pressure and how deep we wanted the massage. Once it was our time, we got inside the room, took our clothes off and got under the sheets. The masseuses dimmed the lights and put soft relaxing spa music which was super relaxing. The masseuse knew exactly what she was doing as she was applying the right amount of pressure on the areas where I was most tense, being my shoulders and lower back. Once the message was done, they both walked out, we put our clothing back on and they greeted us with a cup of water when we opened the door. I went and here and added extra time on my monthly massage, just to use up the 2 extras. After being charged extra, I asked why I would be charged when I had 2 massages transferred to me. They told me that when I came in, they never applied the extras and because I didn't use them, they expired!! How unethical is that? I hate companies that are liKe this. I've always had decent masseuses, nothing to write home about, but they get the job done. This was my first time at the Miami Lakes location where I met a masseuse named Barbara. She is by far the best masseuse I've ever encountered. You can tell she loves what she does. You can feel her energy through ever touch, going through each finger into your skin with the intent to heal. It really was out of this world. It is hard to find a passion for something, and especially be able to happily do it for a living. It is nice to experience someone who understands the art of a massage. This will be my permanent location and my go to girl from now on. Besides the massage, the girls at the front desk were very polite and well mannered. I've been to another Massage Envy location, and this one was about the same as far as my experience goes. Once every 6 months, the Massage Envy chain allows customers to get the introductory price of $49. I woke up with a pain in my neck, so I called around to the locations near me for an impromptu massage, but they were completely booked for the day. The Miami Lakes location is about 20 minutes away, but made the trip because they were able to take me that afternoon. They were running about 15-20 minutes behind, but no one told me that when I arrived. I saw a few people come in around the time I did for appointments, and all of us waited at least 15 minutes before our masseurs came to get us. My massage was okay. He didn't focus enough on my neck which was where I told him I was feeling pain, but he did do a pretty good job. I will say, I was a little shocked that I got butt cheek action during the massage. Not offensive though. It was fine. For $49, this place is better than any of those discounted massages on the online coupon sites, and even though I didn't have the perfect massage experience, it was a decent value and I'll probably be back. read more

I have been going to this location for about 2 years now. My favorite therapists (which I highly recommend) are Karla and Victor. The only negative side to Massage Envy is the price along with the time. You don't get a full hour. They always stop 10 minutes early to give you time to change as well as clean up for the next appointment. It also usually takes about 5-10 minutes before your massage actually begins. If I'm just rating the actual massages, then I would give it 4 stars. I RARELY ever got stuck with a bad therapist. They are very professional and do a wonderful job at relieving any tension you initially come in with. No happy endings though, so don't expect it ;-) read more

She recommended that I switch from aromatherapy to muscle therapy. Let me tell you that it hit the spot!! She has a special touch for the pressure where it felt sooo good!
