Scam! Much more expensive than advertised and once a member, tough to get out. I had a very bad experience there.

I can't speak to the massage quality as I showed up and they couldn't find the masseuse (she was in Cuba). Super disorganized. I made the appointment for myself and it was put under a different person with the same name (why you wouldn't confirm with a new phone number is beyond me as many people have the same name). Then when they did out it in my name they couldn't figure out where she masseuse was. She had gone to Cuba and they thought she would be back by today without confirming so here I sit. Jorge gave me a terrific massage! He was very professional and asked about my needs. He realized I spoke Spanish so we spoke in Spanish throughout the massage. He gave me excellent advice to take care of some of my aches and pains. I highly recommend him. As a woman, I felt safe with him because he was extremely respectful and gentle. Abysmal management, front desk pitiful. I have received many gift certificates to various services and have never been treated so rudely. I called to book my massage and was told that I had to hold my appointment with a credit card. I explained that I would be using a recently received gift certificate. "Well WHO gave it to you?!" I was asked. After giving her all my information, she still insisted on taking my cc info. I explained (patiently) that until I am comfortable with an establishment I do not give out my cc information. She gave me a huff and said she would check with ''management'. She gleefully returned to the phone to say, "See? I told you that you CAN NOT book an appointment without a credit card, it doesn't matter if you have a gift certificate!!" Pass. read more

I've visited a number of clinics in Naples and I can say that this is the best Massage clinic in town. Very clean and serene environment. I like that the front desk staff and the therapist both asked about my individual needs. The therapist asked if the pressure was ok and if she focused on the areas I needed most. Had a massage by Gayan after he got good reviews from my husband. I had been having significant low back pain for several weeks (I'm 55 and got a new mattress). Gayan asked if he could perform some trigger point massage which he thought could help and I agreed. The results were amazing! I have been completely pain free for 3 days now. His skills were evident for the rest of the massage too. A nice, deep massage during which he asked about the pressure frequently. I highly recommend this therapist. This was supposed to be a nice 90 minute relaxing massage experience that ended up much different. First the massage therapist I booked my appointment with wasn't the therapist I was given the day of. My information fell into another massage therapists hands, I didn't think too much of this as my original therapist may have had to call in sick for the day, things happen. And then I was given only a 60 minute massage. Not only did my time get cut by 30 minutes, the entire experience felt rushed. As if the therapist was only trying to get thru my massage to get the next person on the table. It didn't feel relaxing what-so-ever. Then when this is all over and I go to pay, the ladies at the front desk could only manage to say sorry, this is a first for us. They then proceeded to talk about how the lady who ended up in my original booked massage would have to be charged for the 90 minute because there was no way to charge her for the 60. As if any of this was our fault I didn't ask to be switched to a shorter massage with a different massage therapist. I was then asked if I wanted to join their wellness program, which yes this is probably a mandated question they have to ask. But after this experience of receiving a switched massage, I was left dumbfounded that they would think I would want to join a program to pay them more money to have another experience like this again. I left Massage Envy in a worse mood then when I walked in. I would not recommend this Massage Envy to anyone. read more

This was one of the worst experiences. This location has the most unprofessional front desk help. They need training in customer service along with their management or lack thereof! I have never been treated so rudely! I was with a group of friends and we called an hour before our appointments to confirm our entire group and spelled everyone's names out. I was told that we were all confirmed. When we arrived, I was told my 90-minute massage was cancelled! No explanation why or who cancelled it. Then I was completely ignored by the person behind the desk. I asked for a manager and was told they don't have one at this location. They didn't offer me any other service or try to accommodate me at ALL! My friends saw me arguing with the people behind the counter and getting nowhere but being miss treated as a customer and being ignored. Being true friends, they said in good conscious they couldn't enjoy their massages knowing I would be sitting in the lobby alone for 90 minutes. So, we all left very upset and no one at Massage Envy even tried to satisfy us. I have since then called the corporate office and got nowhere since they are franchised. a woman named Tracy called me back from the Naples location and said, "since my friends left on their own there was nothing she could do for them". I had asked that we all receive gift cards to use at our local Massage Envy's since we don't live in Florida but were just there for vacation. She kept saying since they left on their own and had the option for a massage she wouldn't do anything for them!! To me that is completely unacceptable! These are truly good friends and we were there as a "girls trip" and NO ONE wanted me to wait alone for 90 minutes. They felt they wouldn't be able to relax to enjoy their massage. Why would they spend all that money for a massage when they wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy knowing that their friend was sitting in the lobby by herself waiting for them? That makes no sense!! I have asked for the owner's name and still have not received it. I just called again and spoke with a Sara at Massage Envy and was told her and Tracy are adamant that my friends aren't worthy of getting a gift card since they left on their own. I call that being true friends to me! I say Massage Envy has terrible customer serve and BAD BUSINESS and has lost 6 customers, but they don't care!! read more

I've been visiting Massage Envy since I moved to Naples in Sept 2009. I first visited Massage Envy because I was given a gift certificate by coworkers. After my first visit (which was when they were still at the Vanderbilt Beach Rd. location), I was HOOKED. I work upwards of 70 hours a week, all of which is done in front of a computer/at a desk, so treating myself to a massage when I have the time is the BEST! I think the only thing that would have made it better would be if I could somehow get a pedicure at the same time. I've been a member since the day of my first massage and have never once regretted signing up. The staff has ALWAYS been kind, courteous, and attentive. The massage therapists have always paid careful attention to my "weak" spots such as my lower back and spine area (herniated disks) and most importantly - never once hurt me. I've only been sore after deep tissue massages, which is of course expected. I've had all types of massages (swedish, deep tissue - with and without heat therapy, aromatherapy, and area-concentrated), all of which have been perfect. I've used many different massage therapists since each person has a specialty/preferred method of massage, but prefer Ebony! She REALLY knows her stuff and knew all the right questions to ask. You know someone is great when they manage to push out knots that you never even knew existed!! Had a horrible experience here!! Booked a couples massage for Valentine's Day as a surprise to my boyfriend two weeks in advance. The entire purpose of the visit was for the couples massage. We arrived 30 minutes early and waited in the back. Our appointment was for 1 pm. At 1 pm I was met by therapist only to find out that he was taking me to a single massage room. I told the therapist that I had booked a couples massage and was then taken to the front desk where I spoke with the manager who tried to blame it on the couples massage room being double booked and that they had tried to contact to me but the call failed, (which was not true because I had confirmed the appointment the afternoon before) I told the manager that this is simply not my fault and am not sure how to proceed. He then told me that he would comp me a free "aroma therapy" ...big woop! The aroma therapy was a mini bottle filled with lotion! After 10 minutes of trying to figure this mess out I was so stressed that we had to have separate massages in separate rooms, that the surprise was ruined, and on top of that they cut my massage short because of their mess up!!! My massage was supposed to be an hour and was only 35 minutes after all of that!! Will NEVER return! read more

The quality of the massage was decent (maybe 3.5 stars). The problem that I have is that I scheduled and paid (card number requested in advance) a 60 minute massage and when it was over, I checked my watch and only 40 minutes had elapsed. I frequently get massages and I have never had anything like this happen before. I would not recommend. read more

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SPA !!!!!!!!!! went to this spa with my daughter .... i had a very enjoyable massage until the last 15 mins when i hear an obnoxious drilling noise that continued for the last 15 mins of my massage my massage therapist apologized for the noise and left the room to go see what was going on after 20 mins of waiting i decided to get dressed and saw the gentle man at the desk he asked me how the massage was and i replied by saying it was terrible due to the loud drilling noise in the room ...the rude inconsiderate man at the desk told me "thats not my problem" and told me i would be forced to pay for the massage after walking out disgusted and astonished i was charged on my credit card my wife saw the charge and called the company about the charge and i was told that there was nothing that they could do and that i was responsible for the charge my wife replied by saying isn't the customer ALWAYS RIGHT? and the MANAGER MANAGER SAID NO THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT the manager went on to say that they where VIDEO TAPING at the spa shocked and horrified i plan on calling the board of health and local Naples police to have a further investigation keep in mind i am a member at this spa and without a doubt i will be canceling this membership BE WARE OF VIDEO TAPING INSIDE SPA!!!!!!!! read more

On 9/26 I called to ask if the massages would be able to help an out of alignment neck. The girl I spoke to sounded very unsure. She said "umm I think so, yea it should help probably but I'm not sure". She didn't verify with anyone, but she sounded sweet and since I've been there before I let that slide. She told me i could get in at 6pm the next day which I wrote down on my planner when I was on the phone with her. I planned my work day around that time because I live farther away. I showed up 10 minutes before my 6:00 appt and the 2 women said that my appt was at 7. I said the girl I talked to said it was at 6 and I can't wait around for an hour as I have other plans so I will have to cancel. The girl at the front said rudely "well now that creates a problem because it's within the hour" and then she proceeds to tell me that I'm going to get charged half for canceling. The is extremely wrong because the girl told me a 6:00 appt so because she entered it wrong or told me wrong, I'm going to be charged for showing up early for my appt I thought I had???? She asked if I wanted to use prepaid to cover it. I don't know if they were looking up someone else but I am not a member and I do not have anything prepaid. She told me half would be $34 and I said I'm not ok with that and walked out. Later to find out they charged me $47.50. Not only that but after I left, I got a call at 6:04pm from the front desk saying they have an opening if I wanted to come back? (It was probably my appt they had originally that canceled) I'm not turning around for an appt I thought I had, but they said I didnt. And now they are saying they have a spot open after I'm already on my way back home and hour away??? This is extremely horrible customer service. I am not ok with them charging me half price (actually more than they said) for their mess up. I wrote them 4 emails with them only responding once saying they will offer me an introductory rate for 90 monutes... so not only do they charge me more than they quoted in the first place for a service that didn't take place on THEIR screw up but they want me to come in and pay MORE money. They also said that a general manager would be able to handle it the next day. That day came and went without any response and I even said email is the best way to reach me because I work long hours and can't answer the phone especially at work! I have received no response. I can't believe you have people like this working for a company I thought was reputable. I am extremely disappointed and I will never be back. All I am asking at the VERY least would be a full refund. I think good customer service would be to offer a free massage as well but it seems the customer service is horrendous. I never complain about things but this one has hit a nerve and really made me change me thoughts on your company. Please refund my money of $47.50. read more

massages are ok, but this place is a rip off. They set up auto payments of $59 a month and the also expect a 20% tip. If the therapist didn't do a good job or if they are rude, I don't see a reason to tip. I talked to them because I need to cancel the membership and they said that is not possible because my contract is for a year. I'm out of a job and no way of paying for this thing. The administrator in charge is as cold and unprofessional as can be. They will keep charging you card for a year whether you like it or not!! A lot cheaper than the hotels. My therapist was ok. I felt more beat up than relaxed afterward. Don't think he knew what he was doing with the neck muscles. Clean environment. Good hours. I paid cash at time of service and they still charge my card. I know almost a week into trying to get this resolved and the Assistant Manager Steve was extremely rude. As this was my fault. I'm sorry to say that I had a terrible experience at this location. I go to Naples every year with my friends for a "girls weekend". It's not always easy to get 6 reservations for 90 minute massages all at once so I made reservations 2 months prior to our visit in early October. I called to confirm a week prior and AGAIN the day before because someone called my friend to confirm her appt... which was strange because they only called her. When we finally got there they had all our appointments except one. They said it was never scheduled, then they looked further and found her reservation, they said the appt had been cancelled the week prior for another guest who was coming in. WHAT !!! so the woman arrived a minute later and they let her in then told us another story.... that our friends therapist called in sick. Needless to say, none of us wanted to take our massages if our friend was going to be left out. The worst part was that we looked forward to it all day, didn't make any other plans or dinner reservations. I just read the scathing review by "Nighthawk B" and I'm pretty sure I know what the B stands for. His/her "opinion" sounds as though the reviewer might have some sort of vendetta. Here is a real review: First, to tell you the truth, I wasn't looking forward to my massage here, as I am a message snob, and the name, "Massage Envy" didn't have the same ring as "The Ritz Carlton." Having received it as a gift from a friend, I felt obligated to give it a go. I was stunned to discover a well-appointed facility with beautiful, pristine surroundings. The front desk staff was very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my experience, from the time I made my appointment, to the "thank you" and "enjoy the rest of your day" as I checked out. My masseuse had received superior training and patiently listened as I described my specific issues. She followed up with intelligent, knowledgable questions before beginning. I would compare the massage to the best I've ever had, and for which I've paid nearly three times the amount charged at Massage Envy. How impressed was I? I became a member and have enjoyed several massages at this location since. I also enjoy being able to drive up, and get in and out without walking past a lot of people. I've had 7 or 8 massages here and there has not been a bad one in the lot. I suggest you check them out. read more

I had originally signed up due to the massage being decent. Once signed up, I found out that this particular therapist only works weekdays (when I'm working). So I kept the membership to try the other ladies. They were very mediocre and they always seemed to be cut short by at least 10 min. I don't feel like I was getting what I was paying for. The aromatherapy is a joke, as well as the "foot scrub" they just add it to your massage and cut the rest short. (it's also just putting some scrub on your feet and then cleaning it off). And to get an appointment is NEAR impossible (even during summer - not a peak time). They don't want to work with my times and in general do not seem to care about the customer at all, just rake in memberships and once you sign up, you're treated like crap. Not to mention the assistant "manager" there is a young kid that has the manners of an oaf. When I tried to speak to an actual manager he rudely told me that there isn't one available until MONDAY (it's Friday). I then mentioned that since I'm owed 2 months in fees and can't seem to schedule an appt, I'd like my money refunded. He then told me I'll have to speak to the manager on MONDAY. I then mentioned that I will let everyone in my family and friends know not to waste their money there. he flat out said: "honey, everyone already knows about us, that's why we are so popular!!!"
