Since it was our first time, we choose the salt room. They also have saunas and massages. Both my husband and I do not enjoy the heat so we chose the salt room. I have read there are amazing benefits with salt rooms so we were very excited to try it. We were greeted when we arrived and waited about 10 minutes before getting to head to the room. There is some merchandise for sale in the waiting area and they also have water. The room itself is salt so we had to remove our shoes and wear booties. Each room had about 4 chairs with a foot rest to put your legs up. I would have liked the chair to go back a little and I think it did but I couldn't figure it out and was trying to be quiet for the other guest that joined us. We were completely unsure of what happened and I really questioned if the room we entered we just sat there. We were given a little instructions such as your eyes might run or nose and what the benefits of the salt room was. Once it started the lights dimed and this loud blower started. This is what was blowing out the salt. It is such a fine mist you really do not feel it, however I did start to taste a little salt. It was extremely relaxing, I think I fell asleep for a few minutes. After we were covered, white powder on our clothes and our shoes were totally white with salt.
