I honestly didn't enjoy the massage part very much. I get massages regularly, and considering the price-performance ratio, it wasn't a very good massage in my opinion. The facility is nice enough as are the people that work here, but it needs to be said upfront, and immediately that you were going to have a male masseuse for a female customer. Also, you need to have a place designated for your customers to place their clothing. There should not be any surprises for your customers...ever. We had a really great experience here. My boyfriend and I signed up for a couples massage. They were able to get us in same day and it was very reasonably priced. It was $150 for an hour which was comparable to Groupon deals yet this was their regular price! Not only was it a good deal- my boyfriend and I felt it was one of the best massages we've received. We had Julie and Anna who were amazing, listened to the areas we felt we needed the most work done on, and were very thorough. Hot stones is even included in this. I heard about this location through other family members that have visited. I originally had booked the Acqua Signature Facial with Lucia but once she gave my skin an up close look she recommended her specialty which includes energy healing and oxygen infusion. This was a graduation gift to myself so I decided why not, and she gives you a very fair price for the upgrades. When it came to the facial just WOW- Lucia is the BEST esthetician I have ever experienced. She gave an INTENSE facial massage in all areas of my face and even went down to my neck and shoulders. I have never received oxygen infusion nor energy healing but both are a must try for first timers! I called to book the appointment the day of and she was ready right when I arrived. This location is clean, organized, and everyone I interacted with were friendly and professional. HIGHLY recommend treating yourself at this spa and ask for Lucia if possible! read more

Traveling and in town for a few days and badly needed some deep tissue work after a long week of hard strenuous labor. Able to book an appointment with Acqua Day Spa through Yelp. Reply from the owner was prompt and greatly appreciated. Appointment was for 90 minutes and a combination of deep tissue work, hot stone massage and reflexology. Coco was my massage therapist and she was simply outstanding. She used a variety of techniques and deep pressure to work through all the knots and kinks in my muscles. She has great hands and is able to moderate the pressure easily to give you the best experience possible. Good value for what I received. While traveling to Orlando, my skin was looking tired, dry and in dire need of attention. This secret gem of a day spa was an unbelievable find, tucked deep in a cute little cobblestone shopping center. The prices were incredibly reasonable and the results were what I would normally pay double for. Luckily, one of the their highly rated esthetician, Julie, had a last minute cancellation and could squeeze me in. I explained that I wanted a lymphatic facial massage, for the puffiness and drainage of toxins from traveling, and the Korean Glass Skin (IYKYK) appearance. She suggested I do the Oxygen facial, giving lots of hydration to my poor parched skin, lymphatic draining during the normal cleanse and a Nano session. I had never heard of Nano before which was explained to me like a non invasive version of micro-needling aka not as painful or as much redness but still a deeper infusion of hydration,nutrients and dark spots. After the initial cleansing, she gently but firmly worked the muscles and pressure points in my face and neck for the lymphatic draining. It felt so good! We forget that we use our facial muscles all the time and they too collect stress. Next was steaming to open the pores, then onto the blasting of oxygen and serum, and finally the Nano, which tingled and was a tiny bit painful on certain thin skin area, aka parts of the forehead, but she was attentive and turned down the strength/depth on the sensitive areas. Finishing it off was a massage and moisturizing of arms and hands. Seriously my skin was glowing like a dewy little dumpling. Plump, smooth and glassy. I was so impressed! Usually its closer to $300 in NY or LA, where I can find someone that gets my skin looking that good. If I lived in the area, I would get their monthly membership which is ridiculously underpriced. Definitely want to try either their Back Walking! massage or Hydra Facial next time I swing by. read more

So, my better half and I embarked on a quest for zen, AKA a couples massage. Finding the spa was like trying to locate a needle in a haystack--turns out relaxation is a secret agent hiding in a shopping center. Once we cracked the code, it was a spa-tacular experience. The massages were so good they should come with a disclaimer: "May induce extreme chill and uncontrollable bliss. Side effects may include walking on clouds and speaking fluent whale." 90 minute deep tissue massage with Qiuyi. My husband booked this for me on a whim. I had just flown in to Orlando and this was desperately needed. She was extremely attentive. Made sure I was comfortable without asking too much and let me truly enjoy the massage. Staff up front also very nice. The business is sort of in a strip mall (all very cute stores/restaurants) so it's a bit hidden if you don't know where you're going but it's well worth the search. I come at least once a year and will definitely be back next time. :) read more

I booked a facial and a massage last minute (I'm in the area for only a couple days and with all the rain, I wanted to find something to do that was indoors). I have been going to Acqua Day Spa off and on for almost 8 years, for a variety of services. Lucy is amazing, and really can't recommend her enough! I was so excited when she moved in a space much closer to me! The prices are reasonable, and they are offering specials all the time. You definitely have to schedule ahead of time, but can also make appointments online. It is clean, with a relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk in, and the rooms are nice and quiet so you feel like you're in you're own little world during your session. I like that you can either have a quiet, relaxing appointment, or you can be chatty if you want to, they are very good at following your lead. I found Acqua Day Spa on a whim, and was so pleased with the customer service and spa services! Yvonne came in and gave me a beautiful massage and it maybe was one of the best massages I've ever had. Then I had a facial with Dianne who was AMAZING. It felt like I was talking with a friend, and she was so helpful with my skin diagnosis to tighten my pores! These two ladies were wonderful, but what's better is it was affordable too! It's a family owned company, and they don't try to do any of that uncomfortable upselling with spa products you sometimes see in bigger spas. My fiancé and I had a wonderful couples massage today with Susan and Melissa! We really enjoyed it, it was our first time to this spa and our first time having a couples massage and as we left we both looked at each other and said we wanted to do couples massages from now on. The environment was so relaxing, the spa smelled great from the moment we walked in, and staff was more than friendly and helpful making sure we felt comfortable and weren't rushed whatsoever before or after our massage! Melissa and Susan took such great care of us, ensuring we were comfortable and offering to alter pressure a couple times to ensure we were being taken care of! Warm towels, soothing lotion, and a great massage from both ladies made our visit really enjoyable! We will definitely be back! The prices are amazing for the level of service, for some reason I had thought the pricing was higher so when we were told the price we were very happy! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Bought a gift certificate for a family member and my they came out feeling worse than they did before, days after. When we called back to complain the owner defended the massage therapist by stating that she has done this for years rather than understanding what the customer went through. Just because they've done this for years doesn't mean they do a good job. There are so many other places in Dr. Phillips you can get a better massage from and I definitely don't recommend this place especially for the fact that they never tried to make the service right for my family. I definitely feel bad I gave a horrible gift, and it was embarrassing for me. Lesson learned! read more
