I've always had a good to great experience at this Massage Envy location. Like most massages, finding a therapist that matches your expectations and preferences is the most important key. Sometimes you have to try out a couple different therapists to see who fits. The location here is convenient and the place is always spotless and clean. The front desk is very helpful. If you're looking to get a massage, I recommend calling them up and ask for a recommendation. The receptionists know the therapists and can get you scheduled with someone who matches what you are looking for. I don't really understand the negative reviews I see here. Worst experience ever!! If you want or need a massage, stay away from Massage Envy at all costs! They are horrible with communication and are completely unethical. I filled out the paperwork to cancel my membership and was told there would be no problem canceling it. They continued to charge my debit card for two months after I completed the cancellation paperwork. The front office and the massage therapists are all courteous and professional. I've been a member for well over a year and I've had nothing but great experiences. Here are the reasons why: Front area and rooms are spotless. Bathrooms are extremely clean as well. Their use of call reminders and emails helps to make sure you never miss an appointment. They have promotions and they sell products but they aren't pushy about it. A follow up survey is sent after each visit to solicit feedback. The massage therapists do a thorough job. They are very considerate of the clients, I never feel uncomfortable or "weirded out". Same with the aestheticians. The therapists and aestheticians present themselves well, also. They listen to their clients and respect boundaries. I feel comfortable receiving massages from the male staff. I feel like a valued client here. It's money well spent. read more

I have busy life and can't always book ahead of time . So when I get. A day to have a massage they never have an opening . So was paying over 60a month for nothing .have nine sessions I can use but can't get in to do them. So put on hold but again no openings . So I will be finding somewhere else to take my business read more

I was very committed to going to massage envy for facials and many massages per month but they have gotten really bad and inconsistent. Too much turn over and no real times for facials on weekends with the republic store. I was told they couldn't schedule much on weekends because of little demand so no reason for anyone to come in to work, yet you can't schedule because no one is there: a catch 22. I'm ending my membership. Tired of the schedule changes and inconsistencies. read more

The only reason I gave 1 star is because you have to. This is the worse place I have ever been to get a massage! The person they put me with did not even massage me. He pulled on my arms. Clothes on, no oil, no massage and he talked the entire time. When I left I complained and was still charged for a massage I didn't receive. I had a severe knot in my shoulder that did not get worked out. The atmosphere in there was like walking into a tanning salon or Dr office. The room I was in smelled bad, was not calm and comforting. I asked multiple times when he was going to do the actual massage and get my knot worked out. I felt like I was at a bad chiropractor. It was awful! I cried all the way home. I called to speak to a manager and was told I couldn't speak to her until tomorrow and if I wanted to go back in with someone else that they would give me 10.00 off. Are you kidding?!?! If I lived in Springfield, I'd definitely buy into the ME membership. Seth was AWE-mazing. I get massages frequently. Sometimes while I'm traveling and at other times from my regular masseuse. I have my problem areas. Tight hamstrings, hip flexors, neck. Every tight and painful area responded to Seth's touch and melted. He has a gift. read more

Massage was great. However, I was given a 40 minute massage and then charged for an hour. They told me (after the fact) that they included paperwork and undressing in that "hour" that I was charged. However, not even that adds up. It took me maybe 2 minutes to do paperwork and 1 minute to undress. Not 20 minutes. I got there at 11:30 (my scheduled time), was taken back around 11:40, and was done at 12:20pm. Even if paperwork and dress time was added into that, it still wouldn't have been an hour. I have had massages in various places all over Springfield and have never had this issue. EVER. I won't be back. I don't, however, blame the therapist. She was great. It is the company I am not happy with. read more

I've been a member here for 8 months. They usually have openings whenever you need to get in. And they have many massage therapists, so you can always change it up. Their rates are very reasonable as well. Talk about stress relief!! I love this place! read more

Kelsi was my massage therapist. She was amazing. she made sure the problem areas were taken care of and that the pressure is perfect. I wish I could afford to go again, but the price (I think) is high. I was only able to go this time because I was given a gift card from a co-worker. read more

I'm already a Massage Envy fan but when i was traveling on business recently in Springfield i had the pleasure to come to this location. I was set up with Jessica and asked to have her focus om my arms and back. I had been having problems with my arm, felt like tendinitis in my entire elbow. Jessica was able to provide really good deep tissue work so good and so effective that my arm felt like new for a full day after. She's great! I would definitely come back if i were in the area again. read more

The require a credit card on file for your to be a member and although we pay everytime they continue to charge our credit card and refuse to credit us back . They tell you that you are grandfathered in and that you will not experience a rate change. Then all of a sudden, they are having an all across the board rate change and no one is grandfathered in. Too bad, because I've been a member for several years and I quit. read more
