I liked the combination of massage and stretching. She worked my knots very deeply, which I've found in my years of getting massages, some therapists can't help doing even if I ask for it to be lighter. She kept apologizing and saying she couldn't massage me properly with those there. It was painful to say the least. I couldn't have lasted the full hour and was glad I only did the 30 mins one. I was sore the next day, and the knots were still there later, which is what always happens with my knots. I carry all my stress in my shoulders, and they're always knotted; if someone works them out, they're back the next day. So I generally prefer an overall, medium pressure massage for the purpose of relaxing me. This was not that. It was okay, and I can see how people who like their knots worked out would enjoy coming here. The staff was all incredibly friendly and and I got an apologetic call the day before asking if they could change my therapist due to a family emergency, which was fine. ( we got a very back pain from moving to new house) so after we done moving we can't wait to come here. She recommended me to start with combinations of Thai, Deep tissue, oil and stretching. I'm so relax and exciting when she stretching me it's like u r doing Yoga. Anyway I love all she done for me. If you're looking for Fru Fru pay more for the atmosphere, Fiji bottled water and a pat me down massage, this place is not for you. P Touch (yep, that's his name) did my massage, and compare to the one i got at wat pho in Bangkok where they tech this stuff, he was better. You can tell by they way he feels your muscles, he knows where the knots are. He'll ask to confirm where the knots , and work through them. Totally awesome. You're a bit sore the next day, but you feel 1000% lighter. I feel i got more than my monies worth. If you can, try going for the 9pmin session, especially if you have specific knots that you want him to work on (i had shoulders and lower back. He worked on them for over 15min each) and I can tell you the knots are gone!! He also found some other knotted areas that i didn't know i had! This location is very very small, only 3 beds, so I would recommend that you make the appointment . This place is so small that if there is a walk-in. I was really excited about this massage because of all the 5 star reviews, but this has to be one of the worst massages I've ever received. The massage therapist was sloppy, only using her elbows, arms, and sliding her hands across. She didn't get into any tension points or knots and was not consistent at all. Her hands and elbows were constantly sliding around vs. focusing on any area. She would massage two fingers for about 10 seconds and then move to the opposite side of my back then touch the neck for 5 seconds then move to the opposite hand and do one finger. This is how the massage went on for the entire length of the time. She never worked each finger or had a flow and worked through the tension points and knots like most massage therapists do. I left this massage with the exact same knots that I came in with, and not feeling relaxed at all. It's also in a very tiny tiny little studio and she doesn't even offer water or anything. Each time she tried to touch my shoulders or arms, I would nearly jump off the table. She said she would go gently. I'm kind of self esteem person I have a hard time to faith or believe in someone especially about health care ; I have diagnosed the Lumbar Radiculopathy 2 years ago which cause my lower back & my left leg are very painful I can't stand more than an hourlong, can't sleep at night, sometimes I can't even move my leg to make my step forward. It's not always comfortable, but he listens to your body and your comments with focus. How can you not like the skilled hands of Touch and his female counterpart? I received an excellent Thai massage with some deep readjustment of my back, neck and thighs. Touch really knows what to do! He is gentle yet firm as you want it. My wife never liked massages because she is extremely sensitive, bruises easily and needs an extremely gentle touch.
