Leah is fantastic! The entire studio is very homey, I always feel warm and welcomed when I step inside. Every session she starts by asking if there is any where she needs to focus on and what intensity I'd like. I typically get the wellness message. Leah does a fantastic job of really taking care of the whole body I often leave feeling like I've woken up from a long deep sleep. The worst part is when she clicks off what I assume is the machine that either keeps the towels or maybe the lotion warm because I know the message is over. Leah is a fantastic masseuse. Her skills! I'm a bit sensitive about a few areas in my body. I felt very heard and cared for when she asked the questions and then really listened to me and followed through to give me a very good treatment. She also massaged my husband who was singing praises about his experience afterwards. She is very professional and really knows her business. He had a giant bump on the top of his shoulder - an injury from I can't remember what. It was like an acorn on top of his shoulder. But when he came back from his massage it was gone. Leah is wonderful at what she does. I have received 2 massages from her and they were by far the best massages I have ever had. She is very easy to talk to and provides great customer service. We were in Big Sur for a beautiful girls getaway and were searching for a mobile massage therapist to come to the house we were staying in, which was perched overlooking the Pacific. Not only is she likely one of the top 3 best massages I've ever had in my life and believe me, I've had hundreds massages all over the world, she was also super intuitive to my needs. I had some serious neck and shoulder pain happening and she helped me work through it with both depth and gentleness, a combo that is difficult to achieve. I did not expect the emotional release that came unexpectedly but she tapped right in to some deeply stored grief that was lodged in my heart chakra and with care, helped to dislodge it and gave me a place to feel safe while I did it. Her kindness, warmth and experience are evident with every stroke or gentle cranial sacral rocking that helped with the release. You will definitely want at least 90 mins - 2 hours with this gifted healer. I will definitely be seeing her again to help me continue on my healing journey. Also, it should be noted that she lives on the other side of a bridge that is closed and hiked 1.2 miles each way to get to her car so she could get to us. Well, I've used up all three massages in my package and my shoulder is feeling more mobile and the constant throbbing doesn't occur anymore and no more waking up in the middle of the night with the pain, so I'm very happy. Happy enough that I've booked a 1 1/2 hr massage with Leah next week so she has time to check if any other parts of me need some work. Since I first came to see her, Leah has been thinking up creative ways to reach the deep tissue where the knots are located in my shoulder. Even though she has thoroughly dug into the most painful parts of my shoulder, somehow I never feel sore the next day. I suppose part of that would be because she is receptive to feedback as to the level of pressure she is applying. For anyone looking for a relaxation massage, the office and the rooms are quiet, attractive and tranquil.
