I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received from Massey. I have been trying to cancel services. They don't care. The sales representative, Timothy, lied to me several times. He said all weeds would be killed, even in mulch. I signed up believing him. Several weeks later his Manager said conflicting information and that's how I learned it was lies I had been told to make the sales. He said he'd lose his license if he tried to kill weeds in mulch. Timothy was clueless. The sprayer once told me that he'd try to kill some weeds in mulch, but that they don't do that. That's not what Timothy said. Juan, the other Manager spoke to me loudly and extremely disrespectfully, forcing me to buy, guilting me because Timothy took incorrect measurements of the front yard. He raised the quote price due to Timothy's measurements mistake. I was extremely uncomfortable, in my yard. I told the office that if he spoke to me again like that I'd call the police. I kept telling them I wanted to CANCEL services. Timothy was later rude. He tangled up my sprinklers' programming, and my new $2,000 sod died. I called for help, and he never answered my texts or called me back. They took the money and ran. The neighbors were laughing at what a bad price I paid and bad service I received. The vendors that delivered the grass told my neighbors that I overpaid with Massey, and that they could sell them Vista sod direct without the markup Massey middleman. Doubt they'd purchase it because my new sod was a bunch of weeds, and they only got bigger instead of being controlled by Massey. Then the sprinklers fiasco, with Timothy not answering his phone or calling me back, and 3/4 of it died. The Massey salesman was lying to me, extremely untrained with measurements, estimates, & knowing which weeds can be attempted to eliminate, then they abandoned me, and my new overpriced expensive weedy dying Vista sod. They try to twist your words from day 1 and make sure you think everything is your fault. Truly terrible. Their favorite excuse is a lack of water.... Not so, another lie. read more

After 12 months, it looks worse than it did before we started. Yes we made several phone calls. Yes they came out and said we'll try this or that. Have a great irrigation system so it's set for appropriate watering. But as you can see, it's mostly weeds. read more

There was a leak in the backflow pipe after the deep freeze in February. Massey Irrigation quoted $750 to replace the pipe and said it was a discounted price for customers. I now know that the Orange County Utilities Department would have replaced the pipe at no cost. The monthly utility bill includes a flat $3 cross connection control fee for that purpose. read more

After 2 years of service and my lawn looks worse than beginning. I waited too long and gave more than a few chances to try and let them fix the problems. My lawn died in multiple spots due to fungus and chinch bugs. I had to call multiple times to get them to fix issue and was told it was because of lack of water. I have new company that says it was fungus and showed me the actual chinch bugs!! I canceled service and then the manager said because they came out they said we didn't want to cancel. I just recently signed up for pest control for the inside of my home last month and I was concerned about using them because I saw the reviews on here. I am please to say that our technician has done a great job. He has been to our home several times already and the sugar ant issue is gone already and the German roach issue is getting way better. He found the nest and completed cleaned it out. I can say that Abdiel (name of our technician) is very good at what he does. He is polite and very skilled at what he does. I would recommend them for pest control inside the home if you are in the Waterford Lakes Orlando area. I do not use the lawn services but my neighbor has and was not impressed with the lawn service side of the company. However, I would definitely say their inside pest control is 5 stars! read more

I am a loyal customer for over 3 years. Recently, I had a broken sprinkler head and called for service. This was at the end of July during the dog days of summer. Due to the broken sprinkler, I had to shut off my system. When I called the office, they said the repairman would be out the next day. The following day, I did not hear or see from Massey. Due to my travel schedule, I just assumed they had come when I wasn't home. But one morning, it occurred to me that I hadn't heard the sprinklers in awhile (they go off very early in the morning). I checked and the system was still off. I called and they said no one had been out but they would send someone that day. TWO days later they sent an inspector out who confirmed I had a broken sprinkler but it would take a week to fix. The next day, I realized he left my system on with a broken sprinkler head still intact. I called the office to speak with someone but never received a return call. I canceled my service with them immediately. I spoke with both the office manager and the department manager and hired another company to do the repair. Two weeks later, Massey comes out to my property to do their quarterly inspection and charged $70 even though I had already canceled my contract. I've called their office twice with no return call. We called prior to Hurricane Ian and asked that they wait until after the storm to do the service. They still came out and treated the lawn. We had torrential rain that washed it all away. The weeds are still thriving since the treatment did no good. When we called to complain, our words fell on deaf ears! Never again! Stay far away from them. Also, their sprinkler repair estimate was $1000. We got it done for $250 from another company! By the way, their pest control service is expensive, but effective! read more

Super super expensive. For our house it was like $300 a quarter. To Jill a bug? Nope. Went wit bug nerds. Just as good, 1/3 of the cost.

Do not recommend Massey for any lawn service. They flat out don't put care into their work and do not respond when you have issues. Save yourself money and frustration by choosing another provider. read more

We have had Massey Services since we got our hone in 2002 and we have had great termite service. The technicians were good and professional and diligent in their work. They also put on footies in our home when we ask them to!!!! We have gotten pest control about two years ago for German roaches which we never had before and they help get rid of them!!!! The technician we had before our current technician Nick D. was helpful and knowledgeable about our problem. Nick we have had for a while is very helpful and knowledgeable, helps us understand things about the bugs we have and why. He is very humble and professional. Plus if he is late he asks for your forgiveness He was not intentionally late, workers can not move traffic out the way or change the weather so they can get to a customer's house on time and they can not predict the long conversations or questions customers might have. I do not recommend Massey Services for pest control. I hire Massey services for pest control at my residence. I paid $200+ in advance for a year of service and that years service did not resolve the ant issue in my pool deck area. I was charged an additional $89 after cancellation that I refuse to pay they then turned it over to bill collectors and released my number to telemarketers. I recommend you use another pest-control if that's what you need. I received a call from the Mgmt staff and was told that's not the way that they do business and he will take care of it and get back to me the next day. It has been almost 5 days and I have not heard anything back from them. read more
