I come here often and really like it. The staff is great and the food is awesome. I've loved everything I've tried.

Stale bread, no onions or oil and vinegar...

1st time customer. Ordered 2 sandwiches and the sub rolls were stale. When I notified the owner he said he verified that the bread was fresh for the employees, which was false. I asked for refund as we couldn't eat the sandwiches and was given a 25% credit??? Really, never ordering again from any of the 3 locations or recommending their food. Great way to treat a new customer!

Grabbed two large pizzas to go... their large cheese and large margarita. Both pizzas were good. Bit of a thicker crust with some chew. The margarita had good flavor. Fresh ingredients. Seems like they use the mozzarella block not fresh mozzarella. It was still good, I prefer my margarita with fresh mozzarella. Could also use more basil. With that said, it was very good. The cheese pizza, although it was good, it was a bit salty for me. I assume that's from the cheese. We also had the cheese calzone (just ricotta and mozzarella cheese). This was very good. Great calzone crust loaded with cheese. Really recommend giving this a try. Overall the menu looks great. Seems to have a good selection of dishes. Something for everyone. The service on the phone was good... could maybe clean up the tone a bit. I had the pizza picked up and it was ready on time. The pizza was good and the calzone I loved. I would order from here again and explore some of their other menu options. I recommend stopping by for a bite. Buon Appetito! #fairfieldcountywineanddinejournal

Cute authentic Italian cafe. Wide selection of tasty fresh foods, pastries, and coffee. Also good price setting. Ample parking and eat-in space. My grilled chicken caprese grinder, which had a moist fresh mozzarella, tomato, and savory chicken. My partner got a veal parmigiana with sesame bread and enjoyed all the flavor. We'd love to come back again and try another item!

I have wanted to visit Wave Hill in Norwalk for a while, but I live an hour away. But Lucky Me…read more They were at the Chester Sunday Market when I recently visited. I bought a Seeded Semolina bread, a Rosemary Focaccia, a Demi Baguette, chocolate chip cookies, an almond croissant and cheese monkey bread. I'll start with the most positive. The bread was terrific. My whole family loved it. It was fresh. Crusty in the right way. There were household requests for repeat purchases, and I had to say, "Don't get ahead of yourselves, they're too far away for normal shopping." I didn't eat the almond croissant or the cheese monkey bread until the next day. So I can't fairly judge them. The croissant was still pretty tasty. The cookie was fine. My wife and I both had one the day we bought it. We've had a lot of top tier cookies this year. I can't put this cookie in that category. The texture wasn't as enjoyable. It was a harder cookie than I like. It had less chocolate. The salt content wasn't where I like it. So we loved the bread. And would buy it again. We'd skip the cookie. 4.5 Stars

Small parking lot shared with multiple other businesses, but was able to find a spot. I was greeted seconds after entering, asking what I wanted, but as this was my first time here I wanted time to look around. Other than a party of 4 who were seated inside, no other customers were around. I had no idea they made pizza, and I took a suggested sample to try. Outstanding. Still looking and deciding, I was again asked if I was ready. I did know I wanted a sourdough baguette. OK. Packed. I asked about the Parisian sandwich (all the sandwiches are pre made and disayed in the case), to be sure Jambon de Paris was used. The staff had NO clue what I was talking about, and rudely proclaimed "it's ham". Yes, I am aware its ham, but if it is not Jambon de Paris I want to know so I can chose something else. Luckily, the manager or owner overheard and confirmed it was Jambon de Paris. Staff began ringing my items when I indicated that I still wanted 2 more items. Sigh and eyeroll. There was no one else in line or waiting to order. All items were expensive and no receipt was provided which I did not realize till I got home. The sandwich was good, but needed more Jambon de Paris. The tarragon mustard gave a nice flavor, while the butter provided a smooth texture to compliment the crunchiness of the bread. The sourdough bread and the filled croissants were both delicious, but also quite pricey. Sandwiches are not made or order, there is no pricing on many of the items that I could see, this is a location with lots of traffic and not much parking. On top of all of that, feeling rushed and completely disrespected as a paying customer doesn't make me want to return or recommend. You only get one chance to make a good first impression.

It is located right next to their beautiful nursery and plant shop, and it's a really nice spot to grab lunch and then browse around for plants before or after. I ordered their crab flatbread, and the first thing that surprised me was how generous they were with the crab meat, mixed in with cabbage and charred asparagus. The asparagus had a nice char and flat and the cabbage added a nice crunch and texture. The flat bread itself was a little crunch which was interesting and I love how it wasn't overly heavy or rich. The flat bread came with a side salad with really fresh greens. It was so fresh and crunchy that my 9 year old son stole it from me and proceeded to devour the entire salad himself. Also, the setting is what really makes Terrain special. Being surrounded by plants and greenery, with the nursery and shop right next door, gives the whole experience a very relaxed and inviting feel. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend a little extra time after lunch wandering around and looking at all the plants and other items they have to offer. Our server was friendly although it was slow at times but we figured out it was the coffee bar that was slow. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch there and would be happy to return again when we are in the area.

There was a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, and we were seated indoors. They had unique brunch options and we ended up getting the shakshuka, fried avocado benedict, chocolate terrarium for dessert, and an icedsea salt caramel latte. We were given bread in a plant pot to start with honey lavender butter which was so cute. The latte was pretty good and not too sweet as a lot of caramel lattes frequently are. My bf enjoyed his shakshuka but he wished there were more slices of bread to have it with. My fried avocado benedict was unique, but I discovered the fried avocado was supposed to replace the typical enligsh muffin, which I feel like was still necessary. We ended the meal with the chocolate terrarium which was so cute and the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!

(Visited 3/11) Ambiance [4/5]: Minimalist style design, it's nice, Theres also pretty lighting and a good amount of seating with an open bar as well. Food: Trix latte w/ whole milk (seasonal): [4/5] Tastes like a bowl of cereal from a cup. Topped with whipped cream it's really delicious! Tastes like a cup of childhood. Theres a good anount of cereal in the cup alongside the ice so it feels like you get a good amount of sips before the drink is done. Other than that it's still pretty good nonetheless. Sin-A-Bun: [5/5] This is very delicious, it's a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The smokiness from the bacon surprisingly compliments the cinnamon roll buns. Good concept and executed perfectly. If there were an option i'd choose that over having it on the side. Surprisingly I didn't notice it on the side on the sandwich until I was half way through. Still delicious though. Challah french toast [5/5] Tasty and sweet. You can't go wrong with french toast. I added strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and Nutella drizzle (each topping is $3 extra). It was worth the price it was delicious. It came with a side of butter which compliments the sweetness of the toast and some syrup. I didn't use much of the syrup but it was still delicious when I did decide to use it! I wouldn't order this because for delivery because its one of those things that taste so much better fresh in front of you rather than waiting to he dropped off. Service: [5/5] Fast and efficient service! The restaurant works as a team. One man sat me, The middle eastern girl with the long sleeve black shirt took my order and checked on me, and the white boy with the arm tattoos and pen between his ear checked on me at times, and cleaned my table while the girl was busy. It's great to see everyone helping each other and not letting anyone suffer. I Loved it! Overall Cafe social, is a great restaurant to stop by if you plan on going to the mall. Not only is it a 8 minute walk but you're also given a great meal and overall greater experience. I see myself coming back here if I'm ever in norwalk looking for a quick bite!
