Zero stars if could. Tech was incompetent. Didn't believe a word I said. Everything was bad according to him. He was cleaning my bathroom fan vent, not the dryer vent. Asked me if I was sure at least 3 times. Yes, I had them installed. And every other duct and vent cleaning we have had on the property happened on the roof, not the side wall of the house. He said "I know what dryer vents look like and this is it." Umm, nope. Still the bathroom fan. Guess what, he found it. On the roof. Above the laundry room area. He couldn't understand why there are two vents coming out. One is dryer. One is fan in the laundry room. Told me my dryer is a gas dryer. No it isn't. We don't have gas. "I know these machines. This is a gas line. Why is it connected if it's not a gas line?" Sir. No one in this neighborhood has gas. There are no gas lines in the area. That is a water hose because the dryer has a steam setting. Then when he actually started to clean the vent, I believe he damaged it. On purpose or not is up to you to decide. It wasn't very clogged to begin with. We had it cleaned a year ago. Now the dryer is giving us an error code it has never given us before. It is 95% clogged. They came in and set up a vacuum attached to the kitchen vent. Took a picture in the vent and explained that this would only get loose dust and will not touch "sticky dust". This is a SCAM!!! If you are like me you were probably lured by a promo for duct cleaning for about $100. The promo IS in fact too good to be true. I had them service my home because my child and wife have bad allergies. Two weeks later and their allergies are worse than ever so I inspected my vents because I just had them service for cleaning by these clowns. Their intention was never to come in and do a job for $100. They want to come in and look at your heating and cooling unit so that they can upsell you into higher priced services such as mold treatment or something else. They never took the time to clean out anything. My vents are still dirty and it doesn't take a hard look to notice the bad service, you can visually see the dust by standing on the floor and looking up at the vent. Here is how the experience takes place: the come in their Noble branded van which should of been a red flag because I initially set up the appointment with Master Air Duct Cleaning (the first bait and switch). Master Air Duct Cleaning must have subcontracted the job to Noble. Once they got here, they didn't even look at any of the ducts or vents or pulled out any equipment, they asked to look at the heating and cooling unit in the attic - their main goal. In the meantime they are discussing among each other in a foreign language. One of them will be the main communicator with an endless barrage of compliments telling you how awesome you are. Caution -- he's buttering you up. Once you're buttered up, he'll make a call to supposedly talk to his boss for a quote. Once I told him that I am not paying for a $2000 job for mold treatment, which I paid for last year he moved to a downsell. The technicians (contractors) arrived this morning and said, it's $75 per story (on our two story home), so without any mention of this in the ad or when the order was placed, they doubled the cost of our service. The contractors said they'd wait outside and call the office, but I just watched them drive off. When I spoke with the company, the woman stated they tell everyone it's "per story" when they book the appointment and it's my "opinion" that failing to disclose this policy on the ad is deceptive. Was told by the tech. that I had white mold and it could be removed for an additional 560.00, however the recently purchased house was tested for mold as part of the inspection process and there was none. I just wanted to write this review to let others know that Masters Air Duct Cleaning is a "shyster" organization that uses fraudulent, unscrupulous and deceptive methods of operation. That's probably why their rated so poorly on Yelp. I made an appointment on July 17th for a so called "Special" for $149.99 for the Air Duct Cleaning and the Dryer Duct Cleaning special. I asked the operator would there be any other charges and she said "no". The only other charge would be if I had 2 separate a/c units. When the technician got here, he explained that he only does "ONE" air duct for the whole house and "ONE dryer air duct. Even though he tried to cover the vent, there was dirt and dust all over my floors, dining room and kitchen. Why would he choose a vent in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen? That was one mess to clean up. The technician told me the A/C duct was clogged on the roof and that would be another $375.00 in addition. I was pretty shocked and upset, but later he came and told me it was OK because he got the clot and lint out of the vent and it didn't need the $375.00 service and I gave him a $30.00 tip. Today, for the first time I used the dryer and can smell smoke, I turned the dryer off and called Masters Air Duct Cleaning. The operator left a message for the Supervisor and the operator Rhea called me back and said the Supervisor said the technician did not clean the Dryer Vent and did I want to pay $375.00 to have it done? The technician told me he got the lint that was stuck out of the dryer. That's why I gave him a $30.00 tip. I will make sure Sun City West and Sun City Grand know about this company and their shenanigans. I responded to an ad for dryer vent cleaning for $149. The guy came out and cleaned out the vent and then talked me into letting him clean out my house vents for an additional $50.00 He went up into the attic and after about two minutes came back with a picture he purportedly took in my attic, although the picture he showed me had a large stone supporting a hot water heater. I pointed it out to him but that picture wasn't of my attic he assured me it was and I didn't recognize it because of all the mold. He then said he could clean the vents and put a disinfectant in there to kill the mold. It took him about 10 minutes to clean the vent and I think he just sprayed air freshner in the vents. One kept me distracted while the other one went to work. He "cleaned" my fireplace, dryer vent and fireplace in under 20 minutes! When I questioned him about that he tried to up sell me by saying that this call was only an evaluation to see what cleaning they would recommend for me. Of course they recommended close to $4000 worth of cleaning. I told them I had spoken to their representative and she had assured me I was getting the full cleaning package. How low can you go. I contracted with Masters Air Duct Cleaning, August 19, 2022 for Air Duct Cleaning and AC System Disinfection. Disinfecting treatment was to be good for one year. This service was essential as a preventive treatment for respiratory infections and allergies I suffer with. However; in November 2022 a diagnostic inspection by an AC repair service showed an acute infestation of mold. To date Masters Air Duct Cleaning has refused my phone calls. I had one of the Masters Air Duct Cleaning techs come to our home in ponte vedra fl about three weeks ago. The tech was Eric and he looked in our furnace and right away said I had quite a bit of mold all over inside furnace. that scared my wife and I because my wife has been coughing a lot lately. he also told us how bad our ducts were and to clean and fix everything would cost around $2300.00. I since then got couple other companies out and both said there was no mold in furnace and ducts were fine also. They then use scare tactics to get you to buy into using them to clean the mold and spray (a potent) chemical to destroy all mold in the home. I had to give this vendor one star to be able to post this review, but I would not give them any stars for the service that they provided. The technicians from Masters Air Duct Cleaners said they would "Sanitize" all of the heating ducts (air registers, HVAC vents, etc.)in my main house. In addition, they were supposed to clean the chimney in the same house. They quoted me almost $1,700 to do the job. When they arrived, I gave them each $100 cash as a tip and asked them to do a very thorough job. After the Technicians were finished with the Chimney and "Sanitizing" the ductwork in my main house, I asked them to clean the vents on my guest house. While they were doing that, I removed a few of the vent register covers in the main house to see how well they had cleaned the ducting. It was immediately obvious they had not really cleaned anything. Additionally, the chimney was not cleaned at all. I've had two separate Chimney Cleaners look at the chimney since then and both said it needed to be cleaned. Obviously, I was taken advantage of by this outfit. Fortunately, I can recover financially but I am concerned that they will (or are) milking families for incomplete/unperformed/unnecessary services. Steer clear of this vendor. read more

I needed to get my dryer vent cleaned out and came across coupons in one of those coupon booklets. They had a special for air duct and dryer vent cleaning. I convinced my neighbor to get hers done with me so that this company would have two appointments in the same area. I was contacted the day of my appointment and I responded asking the technician to please let me know when he arrived. I was trying to head off the doorbell being rung and my rescue dog becoming anxious. The message was ignored. A word of advice, if you haven't had your dryer vent cleaned in a while, get a quote and work with the technician before the work is started, otherwise, you may have to make a decision that can cost you. Also, don't do it on a rainy day as the humidity level can be high. This was something that I did not do and things did not go as well as expected. The technicians started working on the dryer vent which goes to the roof. After working on it for a bit, I was told that it was going to need a deep cleaning because I had a clog. Did I want to go ahead with the deep clean? $180 and this is the discounted service fee. Regular service fee is $320. Well, the vent was now thoroughly clogged and the work was going to have to be done. I asked about the $155 service fee on their website but was told that it was their basic cleaning and I could not have that price. I was a little surprised because their dryer vent/air duct package was $99. I was charged $75 which was the coupon discount price for the air duct service by itself to which they only used a machine hooked up to one of the ducts. Nowhere on their website does it say anything about basic cleaning or does it show the more expensive charge for the deep clean. Will I recommend them? I will leave that up to the reader. They sent a text message to confirm the time and stated to reply if we needed to contact them. I sent a message at 1pm asking when the workers would arrive. I received no reply. I saw a coupon for $98 to get my air duck clean. I made the appointment, and the rep said the tech will call you when he's 30 min away. The tech never called and showed up at my house. He claims they didn't tell him to call before he came to my house. The technician came and set up the air presser in the middle of my home office. This guy literary spent 12 minutes cleaning all the dust he claimed was in my returns. I asked the tech to take a picture of it so I can see how clean it is being that he only spent 12 minutes cleaning. The tech got very defensive and said I took a picture already "what you don't trust me", I said no, because it's no way you clean all of that dust from the picture you show me in the little time, plus not much dust was on the floor. I told him I wanted to see him take the picture. After arguing with me, the tech finally took the picture that was still dusty and not clean. The tech said he did the best that he could do. His best was not expectable. I realize now that the picture of all the dust the tech showed me was not really mine. It was a picture he already had in his cell, and he was going to show me the picture of the cleaned vent that he initially showed me too and pass it on as how clean he made my vent.
