Needless to say we didn't see this coming? Very skiptical we agreed to meet with Randy McClure. Randy was very helpful With trying to explain where our son was coming from. He made no promises and delivered on all the things he said promised. The School is very professional and clean. We're both very impressed with the operational and would highly recommend! That's the only reason there's any stars at all. I'm sorry but I really need to review this class and Red Cross needs to not use this location until it can be fixed. (Anaheim LOCATION) They do not separate BLS from the regular CPR for civilians. And it was NOT good. There was not enough equipment for everyone (including the BLS professionals). It was extremely rushed. The children, infant and First Aid portion was rushed to the max. I have taken a how to on tourniquet before and it was not enough information given during this part. I'm a civilian and I'm not prepared even though I'm now technically certified. I literally need to retake. There was no skills review section for civilian which is concerning, doesn't Red Cross want certification to mean anything? My husbands class at another location had a skills review. And it wasn't rushed like this. The BLS test was being administered at the end when civilian video was going on. It was difficult to follow the video with the q & a from the BLS. Plus the stop start and not finishing parts of the video make it extra hard to follow. And I'm assuming taking a test with video blasting isn't great for the professionals. Note for content to Red Cross, why doesn't the anaphylaxis portion tell you to use the opposite leg for the second dose of epinephrine? That's basic information and as someone who carries epinephrine I'm actually angry Red Cross doesn't include that information?! It's literally dangerous. Don't include it at all if you can't do it properly. *Edited to add I did NOT sign up for the one that says combined. I signed up for this " ARC Adult Child and Infant CPR AED and First Aid Full Class". No BLS mentioned.

I even took it upon myself to find another student who was willing to switch clinical shifts with me. The switch would have worked better for both of us and relieved a lot of stress on both sides. Despite finding a solution ourselves, I felt that my situation was met with very little compassion or consideration. As a nursing student and a mother, I wasn't asking to avoid my responsibilities. I was simply asking for help finding a schedule that would allow me to meet them. I felt unheard and unsupported during an already stressful situation. We had recently upgrade our internal systems and I wanted to make sure our employees knew how to handle the new functionality. My employees (whom were relatively tech savvy) were very satisfied with the level of patience and knowledge of the instructors. Since we used the triple discount they were offering, I had our Database Architects take the SQL class, our Project Managers took the Excel class, and the rest of us enrolled in the Time management and Communication class. Everybody came out learning tons of new information, and our company is already starting to increase profitability. I had a bit of trouble getting a hold of a representative at Executrain, only because the line was busy. She explained that they were extremely busy, but they were installing a new phone system that would be able to handle the increased capacity. Overall GREAT experience at Executrain, I'm definitely scheduling another class asap.

Because of this experience, I switched careers and no longer wanted anything to do with law enforcement, as it was run by multiple people in law enforcement (forensics in SB County, law enforcement leadership in SB county, CSI in LA county and LA coroner). Was just a quick money scheme for the people who are supposed to enforce and uphold the law to take advantage of people who trusted them.
