Sunday we took our 1yr old for his first baby haircut as mentioned to the lady who helped us we were there for the baby 1st haircut service, she hurriedly did the cut, baby was being kinda fuzzy and she started doing the cut when I held him she didn't offer me a cape , i kept asking her to part the hair nicely even tried to take the comb from her hand so she would let me do it bcuz she was cutting and cutting and i told her i wanted the line done but was ignored (when i part his hair now there are hair that stand up bcuz they are different sizes when i do my babies hair) . Nothing gel cant help and the hair will grow. When she was done she blew the hair off the baby all over my face. My son had hair all over his face and hands she didn't brush him off nothing!! She offered me the bathroom to wash him by the time I got back she had already moved on to the next client. There was nothing special about the cut the moment to cherish baby 1st haircut was not a nice experience. The advertisement said 36$ with a certificate, picture and lock of hair. We got charged 50$ no certificate no picture just a tiny ziplock with hair. I really hope this is just a one time thing but just left disappointed and what was supposed to be a special day was just not.

He's been cutting my son's hair since his birthday October 16, 2020. I literally googled black Mohawk designs for kids & he added his own spin on it! From the day he cut my son's hair on his birthday until last weekend when he cut his hair; My son always leaves feeling & looking like a celebrity! My requests would seem to be brushed off with a cold "Yeah yeah, trust me bro i got u" vibe, and then they'd proceed to f*** my whole s*** up. Still, about once a year, in the lead-up to a wedding or some other fancy event, I'd hesitantly set aside my misgivings and hope against hope that a barber could get me looking fresh. And every time, they'd leave me looking goofy and I'd end up just wearing a HAT for a couple months to let it grow in, and then cutting it myself again... rinse and repeat... ...Until I met Nisan about a week ago. I heard about him through a friend, and as there was a wedding coming up, I decided to take a chance. He runs his one-chair operation by appointment out of a cozy quiet little cubicle in Century City. I told him the above origin story & what kind of cut I was after, then he started examining MY hair & scalp and telling me important things about how MY hair specifically will grow and move. Things no barber has ever told me before. During the cut, he kept checking in with me throughout to present options, while elucidating the pros and cons thereof.
