If you love donuts and who doesn't? Master donuts are a must try! Fresh and delishes. They are pricey but normal for a donut shop nowadays. In terms of running a business, these guys have it down. It's a perfect, off the path mom and pop. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive, the donuts are sublime, and the coffee tastes amazing for such a low price. These are the kind of businesses I love giving my money to, because you can tell they enjoy their work and their customers. My first time there I was getting donuts/ coffee for a big meeting and as I walk out they say, see you tomorrow! They'd never seen me before but I think they know they got us hooked. :) Well, ten or so days later, here I am... But close enough! Ran in to pick up donuts for work on a Saturday morning and was actually pleasantly surprised that there was a line to the door. That's a sign of a good spot, right? I tried the ham and cheese croissant (warmed) and grabbed a mixed dozen. The croissant was delicious! A little on the greasy side, but lots of ham and the perfect amount of melty cheese. At $2.75, it was a better deal than LaBou. The donuts themselves were standard donut shop donuts. Nothing special but hit the spot. $8 a dozen was a little steep in my opinion, but I think it's important to support local small business, so I'll pay the extra dollar over the grocery store deal. If you're in the area and craving a donut, Master Donuts will do the trick... but don't go out of your way or anything, it's just a donut shop. read more

I'll keep this short and sweet. Hands down the BEST doughnuts EVER. Like ever. These doughnuts are so fresh and soft they literally melt in your mouth. My husband stopped by yesterday and grabbed us some breakfast. He said the staff was amazing and the place was packed. Every seat inside and out was taken. We will gladly make the drive, pass about 50 doughnut shops and wait in line for these heaven sent doughnuts. Keep up the great work Master Doughnuts! I've been going to Master Donuts for years. They always have fresh donuts and a nice variety. The place is run by a mom and dad with the two daughters helping out. Very nice family and they are very friendly. I've been to a few other places in Citrus Heights but none have donuts as tasty and fresh as Master Donuts. read more

Best fresh & homemade donuts I've tried in this area! They always have a great selection at affordable pricing. The owners/workers are all extremely friendly & do a great job making you feel welcome. These donuts are massive!! Huge Cinnamon Rolls, Bear Claws and Apple Fritters. Ordered the Bear Claw and it is big enough to share. The claw has the apple on the inside and delicious cinnamon crunchies on the outside. Good stuff!! read more

We love Master Donuts | Our go-to donut stop to satisfy a sweet craving in the morning. Upon walking in, you're greeted with rows and rows of sweet delectable goodies, there's a great selection of donuts, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and breakfast sandwiches. We picked up donuts recently for our son's birthday and when our younger son had a party at school. The kids love the donut holes. We've saved a couple for the next day and still taste just as good!
