They are extremely unprofessional, faking charges to the HW company that they did not do, then ask for a positive review. He yelled at my tenant and was rude and unhinged when communicating with me. They cancel appointments, pretend they misunderstand communication, and then are confused when you tell them you have found someone else to fix the problem. Save yourself the headache, please!

Dominguez Electric was assigned as part of Choice Home Warranty repair service call for a fuse…read morewhich kept tripping. When the technician arrived, he collected the $100 Choice service fee then informed me that he was not able to perform any diagnostic or perform any work until Choice approved the claim. He then sat in his truck with his girlfriend for about twenty minutes before departing, citing the claim had been denied. I immediately called Choice who informed me the claim had not been denied and was still being processed. A few days later I noted the claim had been marked "complete" by Choice. When I called to inquire why, they stated it was based on the service technician's notes. I explained multiple times, to multiple Choice representatives through their warranty appeals process, about the deceptive practice and was wholly ignored. Although the electrician performed no work to diagnose the issue, entered fictious notes into the Choice portal which resulted in the claim being denied, Choice's response was that they stood by the notes entered by the Dominguez electric tech. I encourage anyone who has faced similar issues with Choice or Dominguez Electric to file a complaint with the Texas State Attorney General's office for deceptive business practices.

They'll play around with their gauges and spray soapy water on the inside coil as well as the outdoor condenser but never once have they inspected the lines themselves, and I've never once seen them use an ELD (electronic leak detector). They replaced the TXV valve last year, and yet it still doesn't work correctly because they have yet to do a proper inspection. The only reason they get called for service is because my in-laws swear they have good service, but I think it's only because once-upon-a-time one of them were friends with the owner Ray. So Ray, if you can see this, why hasn't my A/C been fixed properly after having your guys out at least 10 times in the past 3 years?
