    Sichuan wontons in chili oil
    Katy L.

I had been wanting to come here for a long time and finally decided to give it a try ! Hard to decide what to choose for a meal because it all looked so good ! Such a cool spot, and awesome to see the chefs hand pull the noodles from scratch! When I finally decided, I got the master noodle original dish and added bok choy to it, as well as the sichuan wontons in chili oil, and they were delicious!!! I also tried the Thai tea, and it was a bit sweet but quite delicious as well (they have an extensive drink menu, with many yummy sounding options). Good ambiance, and quick service !!! Dishes were tasty, and a bit salty for my liking but overall quite good! I will be back !

I've seen this place before when running errands in the area, but we finally made it in. The decor is nothing special, but comfortable. The service was lacking a bit - I was hoping someone could walk me through the menu but that wasn't the case. We tried an assortment of food - I really liked the fried rice. I also tried the garlic chicken fried noodle dish. The noddles were nice and fresh but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I want to try the Biang Biang noodle dish because it looked good! Overall, good food if you know what to order, but don't except much in the way of service and decor.

I love the fried rice here and the cream cheese wontons! The cheese wontons melt in your mouth. I normally go for the chicken or shrimp fried rice. The service is always quick. When my family visits from out of town, they always want to come here.

I have been to Master Noodle Edina several times. The latest visit was last night. Had dinner here with a few girlfriends before we went to see a movie at AMC Southdale. We ordered several appetizers to share and each got a noodle dish for our main entree. My favorite appetizer was a tie between the Master Pizza and Popcorn - they were delicious. The Taiwanese tomato beef noodle soup is my go-to and I like it with the knife-cut noodles l. The decor and seating inside the restaurant is pretty nice and spacious.

I really struggled whether to give this place a 2 or a 3 and it really boiled down to "would I recommend this place to someone" and the answer is no.... Despite a cool interior and friendly staff, the food just did not deliver... This place is located in a strip mall. I made a reservation but this place was very empty when we got there(6:15 on a Monday). The staff was very friendly, food came very quickly and the decor was super cute! The food is where is all fell apart... We started with drinks. I got a taro coconut milk with pearls. The pearls were the perfect texture! I ordered 100% sweetness and it got rung in as 75%. It ended up tasting even less than that. Basically watered down. I would not order that. The scallion pancake was delicious! We had never had that before, great texture and flavor! I got the garlic and chicken noodles. The noodles didn't seem special and the sauce was very basic. They really lost me at the chicken pieces though! It was almost slimy! My chicken ick couldn't handle that! My boyfriend did enjoy his dish but also stated it wasn't anything special. Overall I can't recommend this place because there are just sooooo many great Asian spots in the twin cities! This just didn't live up to the other reviews.

Another fantastic Master Noodle experience! I've been to multiple locations now and feel that each place has fairly consistent tastes and quality. In true family-style fashion we got plenty of dishes to share: some appetizers and some "main dishes" as well. The Xiao long bao and beef burrito are great starters. I enjoyed the wontons in chili oil, but wish they would've been spicy - we added our own chili oil/sauce. The pork belly fried rice and Shanxi shaved noodles were both fantastic. Both great portion sizes for main dishes with plenty to take home if needed. The restaurant is large and spacious nestled in a strip mall, and the service was fantastic. Boba is such a great deal too!!

My goal this year it to mostly eat at immigrant businesses. First up was Master Noodle. A frigid Minnesota day called for some delicious noodle soup. This relaxed, cozy spot had just what we needed. Our meal started off with crispy veggie spring rolls which were delightful. Crispy, not greasy. I ordered a bowl of the Shanxi Shaved Noodle Soup. This is beef brisket, cilantro, pickled mustard & scallions. The noodles are the larger variety which I love! The broth was so flavorful and the combination here was divine. The staff were attentive and friendly. All in all, this was a wonderful meal and I'm so glad I leftovers for lunch the next day!

It's located in a strip mall where there are other shopping stores. So you can eat and shop. There is a parking lot where you can always find parking. Even during peak hours. The service here is attentive. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get served. They have a window variety of noodle options so I would recommend you visit their website online. The beef noodle is my favorite. It took me two meals to finish it.

Of all the Asian restaurants I've been to, this is among the most attractive. I loved the dark toned woods paired with the bright turquoise chairs + the lanterns from the ceiling. It really added a lot to the space. But let's not get distracted; the food, and specifically the hand pulled noodles, are the real star here. We tried the cheese wontons, which I always order if they are on the menu. They were served piping hot, and the sweet and sour sauce was on target. Both entrees (Garlic Chicken Fried Noodle and Beef Lo Mein) were fantastic. The Garlic Chicken Fried noodle was a bit spicy, but sweet. The Lo Mein could be ordered either regular or spicy. The server was pleasant, but didn't really check in on us at all. We waited a little longer than I would have expected for our food, but we weren't in a hurry. There is a parking lot. I look forward to a return visit.

This was a solid hand pulled noodles experience! I really enjoyed the biang biang noodles and my husband had general tsos either noodles, which was good. The scallion pancakes stood out to us as the most delicious part of what we ordered. This restaurant us definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. The service was friendly, parking was easy and the vibes were good.

We went here with a group of 8 and had a nice time - our water glasses were always full, and we didn't feel rushed. I tried the garlic chicken fried noodles and the kung pao tofu with noodles. The noodles are the star here, they're perfectly chewy and beautifully long. Despite the dishes being advertised as spicy, they were very mild and I ended up adding a lot of chili oil to make it as spicy as I wanted. The texture of the tofu was fantastic though, and I would definitely order again.

This place is excellent! How good can you make Vegetable Fried Rice? Apparently they make it taste outstanding. I had some shrimp thing that was excellent too! I'm putting this in the book to come back. Great food, quick, included napkins and a fork? What more do I need? The problem is next time I'll end up getting Four entrees and battling my gluttony issues. Such great food though............

Amazing noodle dish. Egg was perfect with an amazing broth! 5 star!

My brother and I just finished a movie at AMC at Southdale and we decided to take a small walk to Master Noodle. We ordered a beer and their bowl of soup that my brother recommended. Very clean place and our server was great. The beer went perfectly with the soup, it had a hard boiled egg and some meat and the broth was amazing, I could tell it was made of stock. So good! Great ramen soup and reasonably priced, I will go back!

I just got the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen this time and I can say it's the best ramen I've hard in the Twin Cities so far. Delicious, deep, flavorful broth. Great noodles and pork. They have no sea-food option either, and they only have one chicken ramen. Chicken wasn't properly grilled and it felt like I am eating raw chicken. The ramen noodles were also interesting in that they don't look like any of ramen noodles I had before. Broth is just pure MSG so I didn't even bother finishing the broth. Udon strips-fried was surprisingly very good. It was a bit oily but chicken in there was tasty. Good amount of bean sprouts and cabbages. They seem to have multiple options for udon stir-fried, so if you want a traditional ramen or even udon with broth, this is not the place for you.

Very strong curry with a slight kick but nothing spicy. I'm not the biggest fan of udon noodles because of the texture but it fit well with the broth. You get a huge portion size as well. Of course, I got my favorite Vietnamese egg rolls (perfectly delicious) and Spring Rolls with shrimp. For some reason the shrimp were kind of hard; they looked and tasted fresh but the texture was off. The Sweet Mango Sticky Rice was something I have looked at so many times in different restaurants but never tried and so I decided to try it here. Among all the dishes I have tried, some of my favorites include the crab fried rice, the panang curry, the tom yum soup, the mango sticky rice, the masaman curry, and the chicken wings. Particularly, the crab fried rice got my attention because it was significantly more expensive than the other fried rice dishes, so I knew there was a reason for that and ordered the dish. It was super flavorful and the real crab meat including the claws were evident, and it wasn't clumpy at all, indicating that they used rice that was at least a day old. The panang curry was so savory that the ground peanuts just elevated the flavor and gave it that much creaminess texture. The masaman had a good amount of onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and roasted peanuts, and offered a comprehensively pleasant experience. The mango sticky rice was as good as that dish itself could be, because the dessert creation was simply fire. And finally, the chicken wings had incredibly soft meat and was seasoned inside out which made them really tasty. I would say the only dishes I didn't enjoy as much was the pad see yew which I thought had too much soy sauce because it was a bit salty. I also thought the pad thai didn't have enough tamarind and a bit too much palm sugar, but honestly that's with Thai food here in the United States in general. Regardless, the food here is just too good and this establishment may have just become my go-to spot for Thai food within the metro if I am to hang out with my friends over Thai food. I must also mention that the space is really nice because it bright and has many tables which makes it easy to hang out with friends and chat here, and I thoroughly love that.
