Agree with another reviewer, the food is definitely consistent between this and the other store I've tried. I thought it was bad both times but they were consistent. I found myself here after someone else insisted we go, and though I had already learned my lesson on their noodle dishes I decided to just get some potstickers. They tasted alright but they were very oddly flat. Flat as pancakes. I have never seen such potstickers. I don't know what happened to these but they were weird. Not the best I've had and not the worst. I'd never go here if I'm craving potstickers though, and since I don't like the noodles I doubt I'll be back at all. They do have one of those touch screen pop machines though. I have been waiting to see one in person and never went to the right places I guess. This is the worst Noodles. 3 times I have ordered Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and paid for extra cheddar jack to be placed on the side. My granddaughter likes the extra cheddar on the side so she can cook. No where did I tell them to take anything off the regular Mac and cheese prep. Just put the extra on the side. Each time i called and asked for the extra cheese in a small container precisely because when she adds it she thinks she is cooking. Pretty sure I'm done with this location. It's so convenient when I'm shopping to order with the app,swing by and pick it up and go home and nosh. Tend to do this onSunday nights. BUT... Tonight, I got home and realized thy did exactly the opposite of my instruction to omit cilantro & mushrooms and substitute broccoli. Instead I got TONS of mushrooms, no broccoli. I checked the order slip and my request was perfectly spelled out. Last time I was there, used the same "favorite" in my account on the app as used tonight. They made it correctly as far as no mushrooms, but it was super dry and they forgot the chicken. The time before that, I ordered a different entree, Pad Thai, and it too was on the drier side. Noodles were over cooked. And when I got there to pick-up my PREPAID app order, the RUDE cashier told me to stand in line with the mortals who were just placing their orders. I nicely said I was picking up a to-go order, he still NON-VERBALLY motioned for me to stand in line behind 4 people. I looked at him and said "doesn't that defeat the purpose of ordering ahead?" Oh, and look, there is a sign above the second register that says"Pick-Up Orders". So, no Sir, I will not stand in line when all you need to do is turn around and grab me that bag, because I'm pretty sure it's mine (it was). So yeah, between the poor quality of food and staff, I will not be using this location to fulfill my Noodle needs anymore. Guess I gotta hit up Taco Bell on these lazy Sunday nights. After playing a classy round of a golf with my friends, we decided to get a nice meal from noodles. We all decided to get the best thing noodles offered, Wisconsin Mac and cheese. However, there is an incredible amount of cheese, that was cold. After using of all of my energy to mix the cold cheese, the cheese was finally melting. However, this was way too cheesy. If you go to a Noodles & Company, it doesn't matter if you go to this one, one in the Northern suburbs, one in California, one in Atlantis (if you can find it), or one on Mars (when it gets there). The food will be the same. It's a chain. That's the point. This review isn't about the food. (However, I will say, that I do like the food. I usually get a Trio with caesar salad, mushroom stroganoff, and braised beef. Good value. Tasty. 'Nuff said.) Noodles could technically be classified as "fast food" because you get your food fast. But it's a step above linoleum floors, plastic tables, and ketchup dispensers that make disgusting sounds when they are empty. At the same time, it's a haven for zit-ridden teenagers looking for a job so they can go to the latest movie with their friends. Because of this, they could care less if they pushed the button for tuna noodle potato chip casserole vs. what you actually ordered. That could be said of anyone behind the register really. Then there's management. Management at these places do as much work behind the counter as the rest of the peons and then have to do their manager duties. As a result, if you ever have a complaint, they look at you with a stare that says, "just finish what your saying so I can say I'm sorry and get on with slapping these kids around." But then every once in a while, there is an exception. An employee gives me hope that there *is* someone that cares about the people that come into their store, and truly cares that you enjoy your experience there. I found such a person yesterday at this location. I had an appointment with a friend and she was 15 minutes late. If you've ever been to a Noodles, you know you're supposed to order your food before finding a table. To be polite, I stood near the registers waiting for my friend instead of taking an empty table. While watching patrons come and go, I saw an employee (presumably a manager) help out one of the register monkeys when a customer seemed to ask about something complicated. He offered her some combination of food that seemed to make her happy and I even heard something about it being cheaper (I wasn't trying to listen in, just watching more than anything). He got points for being helpful. A few minutes later, that same employee saw me waiting (it had been at least five minutes by now) and offered me a drink. I didn't need one, but impressive nonetheless. Ten minutes later, I finally saw my friend drive up and when I turned around to wait for her to get out of her car, the very person was standing in front of me with a glass in hand. "Are you sure you don't want a drink? I have a glass right here." Again, I declined since my friend was just coming in, but I was floored. Here is a guy that not only saw me standing around and offered me a drink, but in knowing how long I had waited, really wanted me to be comfortable by nearly forcing me to take a beverage. Had my friend not been imminent, I would have definitely accepted. This gentleman ended up bringing our food to us and was polite and pleasant as ever. Now that I write this review, I realize I should have thanked him personally and gotten his name to tell corporate. This kind of person is an island competence in a sea of apathy. Not just in the super employee turnover world of fast food, but in retail in general. Good customer service just doesn't exist anymore. Exceptional customer service is downright rare. I hoe this guy gets noticed. He should. I hope he goes far. He deserves to. read more

The food was above average and the staff was great. The restroom was messy and out of paper towels. I told one of the employees who requested that I speak to another employee. The chicken portion was not only small but cut up in baby pieces. The other bowls were missing items. Asked to speak to manager Nd this kid laughs stares he is. Dirty tables everywhere, trash on the floor, and workers just standing around. About a month later, I thought I'd try again...same story. I confess, I love this place. I have even researched the possibility of opening one of these in Tacoma or Seattle, because everyone wants pasta that is both fast and yummy on occasion. That's wanting pasta on occasion, not yummy on occasion. Anyways... I pretty much stick with the Pesto Cavatappi with the parmesan breaded chicken and broccoli, but I have been known to stray and get broccoli and chicken macaroni as well. Whatever it is I order, however, the food is lightning fast, it is delicious, and it never costs more than 8 or 9 bucks. I'm even a fan of taking the food to go, as long as I don't have to travel too far with it. Pasta isn't the best for reheating, but they do a good job of packaging it so it isn't a ridiculous, sloppy mess if you do decide to take it home. Love it love it love it. read more

The smell. My husband, who is not pregnant, did. It think it was quite like having a dinner next to a decaying body, but he agreed we are not coming back. I always questioned restaurants having carpeted floors, this one was also sprinkled with pieces of pasta and mysterious stains, so I imagine it was the culprit. This location sucks!!! I love the Chicken Veracruz salad. This location is right next to my office, so I have tried that salad at least 4 times at that location and it is never right. They never put on the Avacado or give me a half of the container of dress. Today, salad was not even half filled, 1 tiny chunk of avacado and of course 1/2 the 2 oz cup of dressing. For some reason, this is one of my favorite on-the-go restaurants. I always get the exact same thing (that's not to say I haven't tried almost everything) - I get the Penne Rosa, but I am allergic to mushrooms, so I get olives instead. I get a flatbread, and douse the entire thing in fresh lemons. I add fresh cracked salt and pepper, same with the flatbread. The pricing is good in my opinion, and it's extremely fast. read more

I should have read the reviews about this location before going there today. My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch. I got the macaroni and cheese which came out fine and he ordered one of the newer zoodle bowls. About halfway through his lunch he pulled out a hair. It was small - kind of looked like an arm hair, but nonetheless a hair is a hair. I brought the hair and his remaining food up to the counter to ask if we can just get a small order of the same thing so he could finish eating. The cashier said "are you sure it was hair and not a string from your clothes? Like a thread?" I assured her it's a hair and politely asked again if we could just get a small bowl of the same thing so we can finish lunch. She said sure and I walked away. When I got back to the table my boyfriend informed me that he watched the girl hand the bowl to the cook and explained what happened to which the cook rolled his eyes and said, out loud, "he should have just eaten it" and then they laughed. So I asked another employee that was emptying the trashes if the manager was there. He said he was so I asked if I could speak with him. While waiting for the manager which took a good five minutes for him to come out - all the employees were on the back obviously talking and two came back out and stared and glared at us. The manager finally came over to our table and I told him what happened and said that it wasn't okay. His response = "no it's not okay" and he walked away. No sorry. No nothing. I wasn't looking for a refund or a credit. Just wanted to be able to eat the lunch I paid for without having hair in it. At this point we still hadn't gotten the replacement food and after that comment by the cook we wouldn't eat it anyway. We ended up just getting up and leaving. Also - I couldn't help but notice how high the manager was which is probably why I got the response I got. He really seemed to not care at all. 6:00 on a weekday. Every single table was dirty, only three were occupied. I wiped one down with the free water. Employees standing idle behind counter. Top of the toilet in the men's bathroom was completely covered in dust, grey dust. I'd say about 6 weeks worth. Food was acceptable, tho I had to go get it because they simply were not walking the food around. 4 trays were sitting there when I got my food. My god, the place was an absolute mess. I've been eating at Noodles & Company since the chain first began and I've always enjoyed the food and friendly service. However, (last night 30 minutes before close) two members of the staff were very disrespectful to me, it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I ordered an entrée and a side of potstickers and my dinner was brought out pretty quickly. Right away I noticed that the potstickers had been squished and flattened so much that they were honestly an 1/8 of an inch thick. It looked as though they had been run over by a truck and they tasted horrible. I've ordered potstickers from Noodles countless times before and I knew these were not consistent to what I've had in the past. So I brought the potstickers back to the register and told them that they were overly squished and that I didn't like them. The girl at the counter rolled her eyes at me and pointed to the manager on staff, then rudely walked away. The manager apologized and said she could have them make something else, but I said no thanks and went back and sat down and finished my entrée. I was surprised that the manager didn't offer to refund my money (since I didn't eat the potstickers) So on my way out I asked the manager to refund the potstickers and that's when two of the workers began being very disrespectful. While I was talking to the manager.. the female worker (began eavesdropping) and started rudely laughing at what I had to say and whispered something to a male coworker. I told her to stop laughing and that's when the male worker began disrespecting me. He tried to intimidate me and stared at me. It looked as though he wanted to fight me and all the while shaking his head and rolling his eyes. Keep in mind this was over an order of potstickers!! Crazy! I am an Executive Sushi Chef and if any of my workers treated a customer the way I was just treated, they wouldn't have a job at my restaurant. After being told the tip I left a few days ago is only available on mobile, I decided to post an actual review. I work in Edina and I have been here several times over the last year or so. The food is food, the staff is nice and always pleasant to me; that's not the issue. The thibg that sticks out to me most about this location is one worker in particular. There is a waitress here, who seemingly in denial of being a bit overweight, wears pants, several sizes too small. I can only remember one time I stopped by and didn't see her or her pants problem. Normally, small pants doesn't get my attention. What gets my attention here is the fact that she never fails to have a mile of crack showing. I find it so appalling that she is allowed to work in a service industry, let alone around food, dressed like that. I should never walk into a restaurant to grab dinner and have to sit there watching her run around with her pants halfway down her cheeks. She is always in the front of the house, ringing and serving; has no one said ANYTHING??? Honestly, I'm over it. The food isn't so great that I can't live without it and choose to go somewhere else. If I really want it, I will drive a looooong way out of my way to avoid the show at this location. My eyes have had enough. I will not be coming back. PULL UP YOUR PANTS!!! read more
