Fast service and they take phone orders too. Ordered a breakfast burrito, and 8 tacos (6 steak and 2 marinated pork). You get a little end tab paper with your order number and it will be called great. Convenient with covered outdoor seating next to the truck or take it to go. Sauce containers are given to you or requested and lids are on the salsa bar/drink area. The burritos are stuffed full and big! Love that you can order a breakfast one even in the evening. The tacos came with only one tortilla which was surprising as we were used to having two, though they seemed homemade or at least grilled and warmed up. Noticed that they were sturdier than the two tortillas we are used to! Marinated pork was the favorite! Definitely do want to try a variety of the burritos amd other meats for tacos! The location is a big factor in coming by again!

Growing up in Oregon it's been incredibly difficult to find good tacos- I'm never wowed. The last time I was wowed was probably in San Diego a few years ago but that's San Diego, land of good tacos. Today after 3 decades I think I've finally found my spot affordable, friendly service, well seasoned tacos and yummy salsa options too. I'll definitely be back!

This is a food truck sitting in a food truck park. I really like the fact that this food truck has a bench and canopy for those that want to enjoy their food at the food truck park. I ordered the two street tacos and a burrito bowl with extra meat. Everything tasted great. The street tacos cost $2 each and seemed decent. The tacos I ordered were carnitas and asada. The burrito bowl was pollo and I added extra chicken. The bowl is much better with extra meat. The different salsas were amazing. I will return.

We love taco carts and this one is great! They have a fantastic, authentic, variety of meats and options. We tried a carne asada burrito, asada tacos and chicken tacos. Everything was yummy! The meats were cooked well and there was a nice portion of meat in each item. They also have a salsa bar set up that adds a variety of heat and flavor to anything you order. The staff is polite and friendly and everything we ordered was cooked and served very quickly. We'll be back to try some more things on the menu. * There's several different carts with a variety of foods at this location. I hope to try all of them!

Had the Carnitas tacos and supreme steak burrito here. The sauces that they had were great, but the food was disappointing. Asked for no beans in the burrito and got beans. There was an absurd amount of rice in the burrito and the steak wasn't good and overall it was not flavored/balanced well. As for the tacos, the carnitas was overcooked, there was no flavor and it was hard to eat because it was so dry. Sad that I was disappointed based on the reviews I read... I will give this place one more try next time I'm here. Will not be ordering a burrito again however.

We are from California and Master Taco is our go to spot when in town. They have thee best tacos, burritos and hand made tortillas. The tacos de alambre are finger licking good. Not to mention their fresh food and salsas. The price is very reasonable and we honestly have never been let down. Coming from Los Angeles residents where we have plenty of food truck options we have never tasted any better Taco truck out there.

Some of the best tacos around! And they have a happy hour 2-5pm where tacos are $1.50 ea. I tried the cabeza (cow head) and lengua (cow tongue) tacos... Both were excellent. Going to come back here a lot

    Asada tacos

I would've expected better considering the reviews but the service wasn't good, they limit you to two small cups of salsa per person, and their portion sizes are horrible. They gave such a small amount of cilantro and onions when we asked for extra. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I don't recommend

Well, after finally getting a chance to browse all the pods, I found Dad's chicken, but nothing was grillin'. So I came back here to Pares PDX Express instead. Checked out the side menu, checked out the prices, and out comes a brutha from anotha mutha! Welcomes me, so I asked my pare "What's good?" He said, "Everything!" smh, "Damn!" A good sign :(but not a good sign for me healthwise:) haha! I asked how long he's been open, and he said, "Since September." Still fresh and new to me, so my yelpie duty was to support my locals. Here's what I ordered: Drawn to the Crispy Kare-Kare ($15), this caught my eyes! (Optional read) Typically, the Filipino kare-kare meat used is with cuts of chuck steak and boney beef neck. Some like using pork hocks. Sometimes kare-kare will have beef tripe added. But personally for me, I love my mom's version using oxtail. I don't like the neck, I don't need tripe, it's gotta be OXTAIL!!! Besides, it's all about the stew and the saucy peanut buttery flavor. About Pares PDX kare-kare version... I saw "Crispy" and knew this was referring to either crispy pata or lechon kawali (aka deep fried pork belly with skin). They serve their kare-kare with crispy pork belly, bok choy, long string beans, and eggplant. The stew of peanut sauce was drizzled on top. With the home-made shrimp bagoong (fried shrimp paste) in between. I would have stayed outside on the patio tables, but it was going to rain. So I rushed home, and mmm mmm mmm the pieces were still nice and crispy indeed! I haven't had pork belly in so long that I was in heaven, not worrying if I needed to go to the hospital afterwards lol. You can have the dish with plain rice or garlic rice. I chose the garlic rice, which is almost a given. A bit of more information: ~ They've got a QR code to view the menu and/or place an order. ~ Majority or nearly all of the dishes were $15 average. ~ To feed your eyes, there are pics of the dishes on the side of the truck. ~ Service was pleasant and fast. Can't say I'll ever order what I can make myself, like adobo, sisig, pinoy style spaghetti, or lumpia, but I will definitely be back to try their version of pansit palabok, laing, dinuguan, and turon. I'll even try their "halo halo" next time! The Filipino authenticity, kinda like mom's style is here! Come check them out!

Multiple times now, I have placed an order, watched the status change to "Confirmed" and even "Preparing," only for the restaurant or their system to cancel the order abruptly after the Dasher is already assigned or on their way. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it completely wastes time and effort planning a meal. A major contributing factor is that they frequently forget to close and update their DoorDash channel, showing they are available for online ordering when they are not. It gives the false hope that the food is on its way, only to be cancelled last minute, forcing a scramble to find dinner/lunch elsewhere. The management needs to seriously address their online order process, communication with delivery platforms, and their kitchen capacity. If you cannot fulfill an order, it should be rejected immediately, not 30-40 minutes after confirmation. Until this issue is fixed, I cannot recommend ordering from here, especially for delivery. It's too unreliable to depend on.

The food truck is located inside a food truck plaza with plenty of options nearby and ample outdoor seating with picnic tables. This particular food truck had a long line, which made the wait to order a bit lengthy. However, it was well worth it. The woman taking orders was incredibly kind and bubbly, which added to the overall experience. After ordering, the food took about 20 minutes to come out, but I did not mind since the sandwiches ended up being really good. The sandwiches were flavorful and very filling. Honestly, I probably could have been satisfied with just one sandwich. Overall, I thought this spot was worth the wait. I would definitely come back if I were in Portland again.

Overall: 4.2/5 Tried the Original Tokyo sandwich and the chicken nanban. Original Tokyo sandwich is excellent, with a really good mix of flavors that combine really well. The black garlic here provides really good flavor. Nanban was a bit disappointing, sauce was a bit one note. Unfortunately the line was super long when we went so it took a while to get our food. Probably go at a less busy time (weekday) but worth it for visitors.

Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine.
