Went to buy tacos around 10 pm got 5 tacos de asada and 3 de chorizo with everything on it. I paid about $16 but the meat was very old and oily I could only eat one taco de chorizo. The rest went to waist. The carne asada also had alot of fat. So I didn't even get a good part of the meat. I definitely would not recommend this taco truck. Very disappointed. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but....the menu says burritos are $8. I somehow was charged $9.50? For that price, I'd rather go to the other Mexican food cart in the pod, or Don Chilitos down the road. Average at best, and kinda small compared to other burritos for what I ended up paying. Heavy set lady who takes orders is VERY rude. I called ahead of time time place my order. As I got there they hadn't started making my order yet (per that lady) I then asked what was in the torta that I ordered she mentioned all the ingredients and I asked for no beans, just as I asked she said they already started my order and I didn't originally ask for it w/ no beans. So that was that. The lady that was making it then stepped in and said she could scrape it off. The heavy set lady was just rolling her eyes. Then They messed up my order. Didn't add any onions or cilantro to my tacos. I didn't notice until I got home and had to come back to tell them/ show them, all she was saying was "ooops it happens sometimes and it happened to you this time" the tacos were so cold by this time I just returned them and got my money back. She didn't offer to re make them, or even genuinely apologize. Customer service was horrible, food wasn't even good. Honestly, the lady taking the order/answer the phone was extremely unpleasant and rude. She is not approachable and customer oriented. While waiting for my food, she answer a call and was rude to the customer on the phone. She didn't even mute the phone and criticize the customer that she was being picky and the customer heard her. I was getting condiments while all that was going down. The client on the phone ended up hanging up. If you come to master tacos, avoid the heavy set lady. So good! Sad to see prices being raised little by little but that's inflation for you. I don't blame them. The tacos are delicious! Quality is nice and the price is just right! I am tremendously sorry to have to change my review from the outstanding 5stars I originally gave to this 1 star. That being said I can never return to eat here and perhaps will judge all food trucks differently due to my last experience at this stop. About 10hrs after I ate a carnitas burrito which I love I contracted the worst illness I have ever in my life had. I believe it was norovirus. This horrible sickness had me bedridden for 4 days. We used to go here a lot, their green sauce is delicious; however, within one month we had two unforgivable and very unsanitary issues with our food. I've been here a bunch of times and all I can say is this place is a bomb. I always get the asada taco but u can try different flavors -- a looot! This used to be my favorite place to get tacos, until me and my gf went to get a late night dinner. It's a regular thing so only my non Spanish speaking gf got out the car to order. When she came back with the food she was upset because the girl who took her order was so disrespectful. She said she gave her attitude and was really rude because she didn't speak Spanish back to her when she spoke to my gf in Spanish. Take in mind my gf is of Asian/American decent therefore she may look like she speaks Spanish. I imagine this girl didn't like my girl didn't speak Spanish or maybe thought she spoke the language just didn't want to. Either way we will not be going back here ever again. And me being Mexican, it's a real shame that my ppl can be this rude simply because someone who may or may not look like us didn't speak Spanish. I love there food and I've chosen this taco truck for about year over any other, but I dont know if they've changed management or what's happen but the recent times I went I've had a problem with them either charging me more or FORGETTING my food (once, fine it happens...twice is a problem and it wasn't busy). Like once I ordered food and the women was gonna charge me ten dollars more. A time before then I ordered five tacos and cubana torta. I only had three tacos. So I didn't go back for like a couple weeks but how can you resist one of your favorite spots. So I went again last night and order food and once again they didn't give me everything I order. I tried calling a few times to let them know and they didn't answer one call and I know they weren't close. I'm super disappointed I hope the women who was the manger there is still there and can fix these problems. Great food not the best customer service.
