He is very thorough and patient with the kids, while also keeping them disciplined. As a coach, myself, I appreciate the attention to detail when teaching new techniques and skills. My daughters confidence has grown tremendously throughout the past year as she has learned a lot at this gym. The gym itself is very clean and the students and families are very welcoming. I have recommended this gym to many friends with kids and even adults interested in learning a new skill. What You'll Learn: Rounders offers multiple martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali (a Filipino knife-fighting system), and Mixed Martial Arts (which combines striking, wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu). In the past they have also offered wrestling and Judo. So there's something for everyone. Regardless of what class you pick, you'll learn how to protect yourself while getting a great workout. What You'll Gain: Like I mentioned, you'll get a killer workout in a safe and fun environment. According to some studies, you could burn anywhere between 300 to 800 calories in a single 1-hour kickboxing class. It's far more efficient (and fun!) than running on a treadmill. And the added bonus is that you'll learn self-defense along the way. Who You'll Meet: From co-owner Joe Kim to all the other instructors, the coaches here are physically talented, knowledgeable, and easy-going despite being deadly warriors. I've casually tried other Muay Thai gyms in the past, but they often suggested bag classes for women. Here you can choose from a variety of classes and there's an emphasis on both getting a good workout and learning the form of each movement. As a person with massive social anxiety because I'm definitely not a fast learner, I'm always worried when doing group classes and partner drills that I'm slowing people down. However, I've never taken a class here where I've felt judged by anyone. Everyone from the coaches to the other students are always super supportive and encouraging. There's a culture of students helping each other while coaches make sure everyone of all skill levels is being challenged. You also have the option of doing private training. If you're curious at all, try the intro session and I promise you that you won't regret at least trying.

My family (family of 4) had a blast here! We stayed there for about 6 hours. We did the obstacle…read morecourse twice and rented 2 kayaks while we were there. Bought 3 food items and a gatorade. But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Refreshing the bikes with newer models would bump it to 5 stars.
