I got them a few DAYS ago and they are already peeling, the skin around my nail wasn't even properly removed, they are uneven. She didn't even put a top coat on to seal it in. The first few times the staff was very unfriendly because I complained which I never do! The recent on she was nice but it was done very poorly.

My nails are short for work- but she cut them even shorter and then complained they were too short the entire time. She did the powder dip VERY sloppily which results in lots and lots of dip getting onto my skin and under the top of the nail. The dip took about 10 minutes, which I realize now was why she pushed for powder/dip instead of gel, but then spent about 25 minutes trying to get off all the excess dip that had solidified onto my skin. Because of this process, she ended up taking about 3 rounds to separate my nails from the skin as well as remove excess which resulted in her removing so much skin around my nails and underneath it that they all started to peel within the appointment. I asked her to stop and she told me "next time you should say you don't want your skin cut.... I didn't even cut your cuticle." On top of that- the powder itself is poorly done to the point there is literally a piece of hair stuck between the layers. I noticed it and told her, and she did agree to fix it but "putting a layer to cover it up" but truly couldn't stand to have more sloppily done dip so left it alone since it would probably result in much further damage. I know her intentions were good but I feel extremely taken advantage of. I didn't even want powder coming in. And now my nails and skin are ruined 24 hours before a big event. These photos are taken in the parking lot DIRECTLY after the appointment. You can see how raw and irritated everything is. Additionally- the hygiene was VERY poor. I work in medical facility and had to close my eyes at certain things. NOT SANITARY. Poorly done. Frustrating and frankly- sad. No one wants to cry in the car 5 minutes after their appointment. And I'm a dermatologist so I know that her claims of, " your skin is just dry" is frankly false

A great sugar type exfoliation. The hot stone massage on my feet and legs, it was nice. Lee was great, also very experienced w pedicure and manicure. Prices are spot on. The two other manicurists were pleasant and customers were already lined up by my 11:00a appt. Princess Nails must be doing a great job and word is out. My traditional manicure came out great w attention to detail and nice shaping of the nail. The shop is located within Medford Sq. w plenty of meter parking. The shop is clean and organized. Plastic liners are in the foot basins and replaced.

She was very patient as I picked a few colors to try before ultimately deciding which color I wanted which I am very happy with. She has lots of colors to choose from and she uses a liner on the pedicure bath tub for cleanliness. She uses a new bottle on the color you choose so the bottle you pick from the rack is not the bottle she will use even though the color will be the same. I have been to different nail salons but have not been happy for one reason or another. The reviews of nail salons in general are pretty horrific. So give Nina Nails in Medford (not the one in Revere) a try. She is located very close to the RT 93 off ramp making access quick and easy. Street parking was a breeze as well. Feel free to call initially and leave a message. She called me right back, and her hours of operation may be different than what is stated on yelp. She is very accommodating. Once you become a customer, you can just text her to set up an appointment.

Everyone was so sweet and made me feel right at home. Lana had me cracking up the entire time. this was the best nail salon experience I've had. Kathy paid amazing attention to detail and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them (they just changed owners/names of the salon by the way if you are having trouble finding it!) They also do hair too here. Parking is on the street/paid by meter FYI. I'm very happy with my nails and definitely will be back. 10/10 :) -Aubrey
