Nina is gentle and kind and good at what she does. I had cut my toe nails very short before coming to her salon so don't judge my photo by the length. That was my doing. She was very patient as I picked a few colors to try before ultimately deciding which color I wanted which I am very happy with. She has lots of colors to choose from and she uses a liner on the pedicure bath tub for cleanliness. She uses a new bottle on the color you choose so the bottle you pick from the rack is not the bottle she will use even though the color will be the same. I have been to different nail salons but have not been happy for one reason or another. The reviews of nail salons in general are pretty horrific. So give Nina Nails in Medford (not the one in Revere) a try. She is located very close to the RT 93 off ramp making access quick and easy. Street parking was a breeze as well. Feel free to call initially and leave a message. She called me right back, and her hours of operation may be different than what is stated on yelp. She is very accommodating. I loved it here I went for the first time today and got a color changed. I talked to her as though I've gone to her everyday. And the design she did was something I never seen and I left absolutely happy and fixed what someone else messed up on. I only went once but I would definitely go again. She did it quickly. The only thing I would say was a concern was whether or not her things was sanitary or not. But other than that it was fine. And the prices were reasonable for a color change and design. read more

My sister and I are new to town and checked yelp for reviews and decided to take a chance at a new place. We made appointments for a Sunday around 1 and walked right in to Nina and an older man and woman who were so adorable. We got right to it and they did an excellent job with our feet even buffing our nails which I've never had done. Nina was so friendly and bubbly she made us feel like we were old friends. The price is so reasonable and Nina was so sweet we gave her a hug on the way out and even talked about her showing us a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Def a must go to! read more

I've only been to Nina one time but she was extremely thorough with cleaning up my cuticles and meticulous with the painting and for a reasonable price. Not only is she extremely nice and we chatted away, but when one of my nails chipped I went back about 10 days later and she was happy to redo it for no charge. I've been coming to Nina (almost) every two weeks for about two years, and she is second to none. Even when I show up a week late (Sorry, Nina! Life is hectic), she greets me with a smile and gets right to making sure my hands look great. She always has a great selection of new colors on rotation, and won't hesitate to let you know her professional opinion on what service will work best for your individual needs. Not the fanciest of nail salons. It isn't in an upscale neighborhood... but her work is impeccable. Nina spends time and her considerable skill to give you an incredible mani & pedi. I've always had a problem with thick cuticles and each time she leaves them looking immaculate. And she does it with a very gentle touch. First time in Boston. My husband was working and I needed a mani-pedi. Read Yelp reviews but couldn't decide. It had to be in walking distance from the Hyatt we were staying in. I walked a few blocks and passed a couple salons, but Nina's just seemed right. I was greeted and then put my feet in the water. One of the best pedicures I have ever had. Usually they go up your calf, but I feel Ellen knew her reflexology and I just suddenly felt so peaceful. She told me she liked my hair and I mentioned that I needed a bang trim. She said she could do that too! Another wonderful lady did my manicure while Ellen did a ladies hair. These ladies are highly trained. She also did a fabulous manicure and hand massage. After I was finished drying, Ellen perfectly trimmed my bangs! I wish I could take these two wonderful manicurists + back to Minnesota with me!
