I'm only giving 2 stars because the staff was very friendly and approachable. My husband and I went in to have his hair cut. He wanted it short on the sides and longer on top, so he could style it. He showed her a reference picture and she told him it wouldn't be a problem. After she cut his hair she styled it with gel and we left happy with how it looked. However, when we arrived home and the gel had begun to lose it hold I noticed his hair looked odd. I brushed through his hair and the cut was completely uneven! The cut was blunt and choppy, one side was longer than the other, and she had cut certain parts way shorter than he had asked for. I spent the next hour and a half trying to salvage the hair cut he had paid $30 for. We will not be returning. read more

My overall experience at this salon has always been good. I have gotten my hair done here multiple times and have been satisfied every time. Until now. Earlier this month, I went in to get my hair done, and my usual hair dresser, Mary, whom I love very much, was not present. I was in desperate need to get my hair done, so I stayed anyway. I allowed another woman to do my hair. Chelsea. This is where my experience turned sour. I had never seen Chelsea in this location before, yet she had told me she'd been there for a while....Anyone that knows me knows that I am exceptionally particular with whom I let do my hair. Since she claimed to have been there for months, I just let it go and let her do my hair....WELLLLLLLL, That was was my mistake. I ended up walking out of the salon with BLACK dye ALL over my face; my forehead, nose, cheeks -- EVERYWHERE. I was so unsatisifed, as well as mortified by the mess of dye that made me feel like I had taken up chimney sweeping rather than being "pampered" at a salon! I actually ended up walking out with my hair still WET. My ending price was roughly $112. ONE HUNDRED TWELVE DOLLARS to look like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins. In addition to all of this, I had ended up getting "purple" tips....They've already faded out. Already. After only a couple weeks? REALLY? The experience of this visit? Bad. Awful. Appalling. Been going there for over a year every few weeks never had too much of an issue. The long time employees are great but unfortunately they recently hired a few new people and one of them couldn't successfully give me a buzzcut it was awful and took almost 45 min. Not a bad place at all some of the employees are awesome unfortunately I haven't been able to get myself to go back there because I see the same employeee and other new ones all the time. I just don't have the time to go in for a 45 min buzzcut and then go home and clean it up. read more

I am 70 years young. I owned my own shop and studied hands on with Paul Mitchell. With hands on training from the man himself and became friends of his back in the late 60's and early 70's. I also studied with Videl Sassoon during that same period. I'm retired now and travel so much that I did not know what I was going to do about my hair. I actually couldn't believe that I was going to just stop in at a "mall" to get a good hair cut. I normally would ask around when I'd see a good hair cut on someone and ask them where should go. I'd get recommendations from people and whoever's name's came up the most, I'd go there but this time I didn't have enough time to do that. I also wanted just a few tiny strands of high lights. I was scared to death and was thinking that I may have been making a huge mistake. This pretty little girl with super curly hair came out and said that she was going to do my hair for me. I had to give her the 3rd degree about her experience. I was so nervous that I almost got up and walked out. My hair is gray and shoulder length. No hair altering products like perms or colors had been in my hair for 10 years. I told Bricia that I only wanted to shape it up and that when I left there, I didn't really want it to look any shorter. The last time I'd had the best hair cut ever was when the Paul Mitchell himself cut it for me. He was such an artist. I didn't learn much in beauty school. I learned a whole new mechanical way to cut hair from Paul Mitchell and it was suddenly so much fun! Bricia was paying attention to every word that I said. When I left there, I felt very satisfied. For me, I don't ever know whether or not I'll really love my hair cut until I go home and do it myself. After I washed and blew it dry without using a comb or brush (0nly my fingers) I took a mirror to look at the back and I honestly felt like I had gotten one of Paul Mitchell's hair cuts. I could not be more pleased. It just all fell into place the way it should. Bricia was the sweetest girl and she never showed frustration with me. Being that I was probably the pickiest patron that she's ever had. I may have to fly back here just to get Bricia to do my hair every time. I'm hooked on her artist abilities. I was so impressed that I went to Master cuts this morning to show her and tell her how happy I was with her talent with both, the highlights and the cut. I was so sad that she was off today. My daughter and I went to get our hair cut. The woman cutting my daughters hair rushed while cutting her hair. Then she kept interrupting the other woman cutting my hair. My daughters hair is uneven. They were very unprofessional. We will never go back. read more
