To NIMA institute and fellow students who are interested into this school: This trade school is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I am a former student and graduate of this institute, and based on my firsthand experience, courses are rushed to the point where students barely have time to actually learn the material, creating a chaotic and stressful environment instead of a proper educational one. The institute clearly does not care about the quality of education or who actually graduates, they only care about money. Tuition was originally $18,500 and was suddenly raised to $20,500, with no justification or improvement in education or resources to match the increase. to be honest, a perfect example of this lack of organization was the laser course, which was a required course to complete the program. Instead of ensuring students had proper access and time to finish, the institute started another laser course for a different class at the same time. This created unnecessary competition for limited rooms and equipment, making an already important course extremely stressful and difficult to complete. They track things that don't benefit students and ignore what actually matters for learning and success. Everything feels money driven rather than student focused. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and wasted money, do not attend this school. Choose a different institute that actually values its students and their future. read more

The same front desk associate who booked my appointment never cautioned me that children aren't allowed during consultations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I came in a few days later for my noon appointment, with my baby calmly in her stroller. I checked in and was told to wait in the lobby. A few minutes later, the same receptionist that had initially booked my appt in person said I would need to reschedule, offering me a 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. time slot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was confused and asked why I needed to reschedule if my appointment was already at noon. She then explained that the treatment room was small and that, for safety reasons, children aren't allowed inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked why moving the appointment to a later time would make a difference, she said it would give me time to "find someone to leave my child with." The assumption that I had someone available to watch my child was frustrating, and the lack of communication upfront was disappointing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She said that the policy is stated in the email, I went back to said email and could not find any statement.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If this policy had been explained when I first booked, while I was clearly with my baby, I could have planned accordingly. I've been attending NIMA Institute for about 3 months now, and honestly, I'm very disappointed with my experience so far. The instructors are extremely lazy, and once it hits around 7 p.m., they're nowhere to be found. If we need help, there's rarely anyone available, and we're left to figure things out on our own. We're taught everything in such a rushed, "whatever" kind of way -- there's no real structure or hands-on guidance unless you pay extra. They constantly push CE courses just to get more one-on-one help with an instructor, which doesn't feel fair after already paying nearly $20,000 in tuition. It feels like you're paying for the "NIMA" name and not the actual quality of education. They even try to charge $50 for almost everything. We only get ONE DEMO for each service we learn, and then we're expected to take real clients that same night -- with no hands-on practice beforehand. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we do ask for help, some instructors act like it's a burden or give attitude, which makes the learning environment uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What's worse is the lack of professionalism. Instructors often talk about their own students behind their backs and even spread rumors among each other about students. It's disappointing because they preach about "loving one another" but don't practice what they say. If I had known what this experience would be like, I would've chosen a different, more affordable school -- because clearly, the higher price doesn't mean better education here. I truly don't recommend NIMA Institute. It's unfortunate that students have to pay extra just to get the proper hands-on training we should be getting as part of our tuition. Save your money and go elsewhere no need to get your advanced license from NIMA to only give money to a school who gives us bare minimum in return. read more

I made the mistake of inquiring about a program at this institute but was met with disrespectful, and predatory employees. Mika conned me into providing her my CC information to later send me a contract that did not apply the amount I gave her to add toward the deposit. She refused to give me my refund and then tried to pressure me to sign it. They have still not refunded me my money that I never was disclosed is non refundable. They also lied about having a class at the end of the month, they wanted to make more money and squeeze me into a class that was already full. State board and BBB will be contacted as I will have to go through my CC for a formal dispute. Please save yourself a headache and do you research, don't trust just anyone with your education or your Personal information. I went in to have a procedure that I had had twice before. I noticed that she left out a step that she had done before, but I didn't say anything. I thought it didn't matter. Then, I realized later that the results were different. I called and asked to speak to the nurse practitioner. All she had to say was " I do it exactly the same every time'. No one does things exactly the same every time. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and they made an appointment for me to come in. When I went in , they sent me to the nurse practitioner who just reiterated what she said before. Noone even listened to what I had to say. I went in there for nothing! Another time I had a follow up appointment and I was rescheduled. Okay, no problem. When I went back for the new appointment, she was way behind. Noone bothered to call to reschedule. My initial new client phone consultation went well. The nurse was very knowledgeable. When I went in for the actual appointment for Botox, I learned the pricing was not clearly explained to me ahead of time. The standard price for Botox for Las Vegas is about $500 for 50 units. NIMA charges $14/unit and then discount first time clients, but the prices are inflated SO the total is the same as going to a non-school setting. That needs to be clarified before clients come in. This is not a discount at all, and I feel my time has been taken advantage of. read more
