I walked in without an appointment and was seen by one of the open barbers. I told the barber how i wanted my hair cut and she started to cut my hair. BUT 5mins into my cut, another customer walked in and the owner said "this is the one that called in, can you take him." The barber stopped mid haircut and said that I would have to get the rest of my haircut from another open barber. The other barber did a good job, but I have never - NEVER - in my life ever had to switch barbers mid-haircut. I have never felt that another customer was more important than me. I just stood there feeling stupid. I have been going to Royal Barber shop for nearly a year. Up until now I have been happy. They typically do a good job. BUT part of going to a barber shop is the experience. It's to feel good about yourself. That did not happen today. The individual barbers looked embarrassed and were apologetic. BUT the owner was not and did not say a single word to me. In short, if you come here, you'll get a good haircut, just be sure you call ahead or else you might be treated as a 2nd rate customer. You may not get the royal treatment as a walk in.

We offered him lunch, a drive, an adventure .... whatever he wanted to do to celebrate. At first, he said he didn't want to do anything. Then his face lit up. He really wanted a shave & a haircut. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon. This kind barber had tattoos & lips tattooed on him. This kind man was so gracious & talented. He listened to Dad & the way they interacted was simply sweet. Dad's eyebrows were also trimmed as well as a few nose hairs. Dad's transformation is getting glowing reviews on my FB page. I want you to see the transformation as well. The sign says that they are a cash establishment. They do have an ATM inside. It was an honor, for me, to watch the makeover (as I put it). Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you so much!!!!

We entered the shop and the barber that greeted us directed us to Mark. The shop has a very chill and easy-going vibe. Mark greeted us, had my son take a seat in the barber chair, asked him what he wanted and got to work. He completed the haircut in 30 minutes. I highly recommend this shop especially for men.
